Guest Reviews
- Tarlan. (4/5): - Oteli hiç beyenmedik, fiyatina gore çook düşük,temizlik kötü,2gün sonra havluları deyişdikde yüz havluları koymadılar, kaç defa söyledim. Temizlilçi kadına ne zaman temizle deuişdir dedikdə benim iş saatim bitdi dedi(saat 14:00 iş saatimi biter) çöpüde odanın ortasında bırakıb çıkmışdı malum iş saatı bitmiş her halde ,akşam oraya geldiğimizde çöp karşıladı odanın ortasında.
Rezarvasiyondakı çalışanı ne zaman arasak yerinde bulamadık.
Parasını önceden ödemeseydim 1 günde kalmazdım.
- Nata (9/5): We would come back here again - Most we liked location because hotel just 2 minutes walking from Istiklal street , everything is near shopping area, restaurants and bars with live music .. also near to metro and funicular. We had good connection with host and he was kind and helpful There is night club near so it was noisy at night
- Hanagası (1/5): - Hiçbirişeyi Klima bozuk ilgisizlik ve hizmet 0
- AKYIL (5/5): -
- Iulia Mihaela (1/5): -
- Erener (10/5): Friendly stuff - I highly recommend this accommodation I experienced in Istanbul. The neighborhood was very safe, the apartments were meticulously clean, and the hosts were extremely helpful in every way. I will definitely return. Until my next trip to Istanbul, goodbye.
- A. (1/5): Really bad stay! Don’t come - Nothing The smell is horrible and the staff unfriendly.
- Hamadino88 (8/5): - موقع ممتاز والفندق مريح وهادئ هناك بعض الأشياء الناقصة في الغرفة
- Yisyun (8/5): - Great location and friendly stuff. You could always see prostitute women at corner of the street. It doesn’t affect you if you just pass by. But not good for family trip I assume.
- Ali Samet (10/5): -
- Andre (8/5): Super Lage - Lage und Personal einfach mega gut Würde mir wünschen Ordnung und Sauberkeit etwas mehr zu priorisieren , Balkon , Badezimmer
- Jhon (10/5): Quiet and Comfortable Stay in a Lively Area - I feel truly lucky that my girlfriend and I found this hotel for our trip. It’s located in a vibrant area surrounded by entertainment venues, which meant we were never bored during our stay. What impressed me the most was how well-insulated the room was, despite all the activity nearby. When we first arrived, we were advised to keep the windows and curtains closed — and as long as we followed that, we had no issues at all. It was a perfect balance of comfort, peace, and fun.
- Alex (10/5): Great Guidance and Spotless Rooms - Great Guidance and Spotless Rooms
One of the best parts of our stay here was the staff’s warm and helpful guidance about the city. Their tips on places to visit, transportation, and food were incredibly useful. The rooms were clean and recently renovated — we really appreciated their attention to cleanliness. Thank you for this wonderful Istanbul experience!
- Raza (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was great. The location is very good. And best of all the hotel is clean
- Iakovos (10/5): Exceptional - Value for money near istiklal. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and eager to help
- Glyn (8/5): Great location - Staff were helpful Cleanliness of bathroom
- Abhijit (8/5): Very good - May people say its bit noisy around hotel during the night. Yes it is but if you close everything you will barely hear anything. Again its centre of city so of course you will hear some noise, but overall very good close to main tourist attraction and help full receptionist.
- Salome (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ismail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdallah (5/5): Passable -
- Diana (4/5): Dissapointing and uncomfortable stay at Pino verde - Friendly staff and that’s where it stops. I recently stayed at Hotel Pino Verde and feel compelled to share my experience, which was overwhelmingly negative.
First and foremost, the location is far below acceptable standards. The hotel is situated directly opposite a brothel and is surrounded by numerous low-quality nightclubs. The loud music from these clubs blares until 7 AM, making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The area is rife with noise, commotion, and frequent street fights, creating an unsafe and unpleasant environment.
Additionally, the pictures of the hotel on their website are highly misleading. The images are clearly morphed and do not represent the reality of the hotel’s surroundings. In truth, the hotel is tucked away in a dingy lane, overshadowed by many nearby buildings. This stark contrast between expectation and reality was extremely disappointing.
The rooms themselves are incredibly small, with barely enough space to move around. This added to the overall feeling of claustrophobia and discomfort during our stay.
Overall, Hotel Pino Verde failed to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and safety. I strongly advise against staying here if you value a peaceful and pleasant hotel experience.
- Bayramiyadkouri (6/5): Pleasant -
- Aqib (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the comfortable room with the balcony. I had an amazing time there. I extended my stay to 4 weeks. Saif was very kind and helpful. Great person who helped me with anything I needed. Home away from home
- Imtiaz (6/5): Pleasant - Good value close to everything Wish it was cleaner, but it's probably better than other cheap places in this area
- Harry (10/5): a beautiful istanbul experience - it was very important for us to be so close to Istiklal street. and it has a safe environment.
- Harry (10/5): i recommend it. - a quiet and clean hotel in the center of istanbul there are no negative reports.
- Natiya (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Clean.
- Dr (9/5): A gem of a hotel ans if you want to live right atbthe heart of Taksim Square without breaking the bank. - The property was literally one minute away from Istekal street and few mins by walk to Taksim square. The host and the staff were amazing and helped us out so much. It is right next to some clubs and pubs so it can get a bit loud.
- Moustapha (7/5): Great facility, but very noisy during weekends. - It was really nice, the location is amazing and very good facilities. the only problem is the night clubs near the hotel, they are bit noisy late at night, and I was sometimes hearing a bit of fights on the street as well
- Asouero (10/5): Excellent - The staff was amazing the service was exceptional and the rooms very nice
- Mehmet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mishak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cameo (4/5): noisy and ugly location - the bed was firm the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable
the location was ugly and noisy all night long
it is not a hotel for women
once i moved to another neighborhood and could leave the windows open to listen birds not techno, i was happier
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - The team was fantastic especially Sefa the gentleman was taking care of everything and all was perfect Nothing at all
- Elissavet (7/5): Good - The attitude of the staff and more specifically Stefa, who was endlessly helpful. The hotel is located in a bad area. It is surrounded by nightclubs, some of them with questionable activities
- Κωνσταντίνος (10/5): A very good place to stay - Pino Verde Hotel was a very good option for staying close to Taksim Square. Rooms were clean and everything was fine.
Mr. Sefa was really helpful and very kind. He provided us with useful information and helped us with everything. 10/10
- Jhon (10/5): a gold mine waiting to be discovered - During our stay, we experienced unforgettable moments at this exceptional facility located in the heart of Istanbul, on İstiklal Street. Despite being surrounded by lively entertainment venues, the high-quality insulated curtains and windows ensured a peaceful and quiet atmosphere in our room. Traveling with my girlfriend, I felt secure and comfortable in every aspect. The staff at the hotel made us feel at home with their warm and friendly demeanor. In terms of value for money, this hotel is definitely an undiscovered gold mine. We will undoubtedly choose this place again for our next trip to Istanbul. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. there's nothing I don't like
- Elena (10/5): Good location - The Hotel is situated in a very convenient location, the staff is super friendly
- Nathuan (2/5): Horrible manager - Nice structure, nice room with good bed, heating and wifi. Modern decoration, many windows, well-lit. The 2 staff that work in the evening and late night are very nice and kind guys. The manager/morning & early afternoon shift staff, charged me 250TL for the PCR, when it's 150 everywhere (I'd just arrived and didn't know, it was late when I knew). That doesn't look good with clients. And they don't have a sign posted with the price of the PCR as all the other hotels/hostels. It doesn't depend on the hospital, that's a lie. I've checked with pharmacies in Istanbul and they told me that it's a fixed price, all the hospitals/institutions charge the same. And that was precisely what he said when I asked about the price: "PCR is 250TL and it's the same price everywhere"! Ha ha ha, now he says that it depends on the hospital and that's why mine was more expensive. It's 150 everywhere, he just stole 100TL from me. Poorest breakfast ever in Turkey (I lived here before, I know how Turkish breakfasts are). Here you'll get 4 olives, 2 little slices of bread, one small piece of cheese, 2 pieces of tomato and 2 of cucumber. Honestly, even a hostel has better breakfast. And then, the location. Convenient, near Taksim, but in an alley full of prostitution and pubs with a strange atmosphere. Honestly, I didn't care, but the day I left, even the taxi driver who picked me up told me: this is a horrible street, don't stay here anymore (and he's from Istanbul). I wasn't going to mention these details (which some other people have mentioned already), but I don't like being treated as stupid by the manager, when I'm spending my money in his property and country. I'm back in Istanbul but I won't stay there again. Luckily, all my other experiences here and the other hotels and hostels have been amazing.
- msaadaldein (2/5): Worst hotel ever! - I booked three rooms on the 8th till 12th of august me and my friends have experienced the worst 4 nights ever!
Starting with the location it came out a prostitution building and dangerous area you can see all disgusting stuff from your window and night clubs all around that you dont sleep till 9 am!
Bed sheets are filthy towels are dirty, and the rudest mannager you will deal with he came to my room asking me to checkout at 12 and if i dont he will call the police because i only asked to give me an extra hour and leave at 1!
Breakfast was also limited they have nothing to offer.
This hotel should be shut off by the travel and tourism ministry.
- I2241WDahmeda (10/5): Very nice hotel good staff - We are stay 4 night.Hotel is beatiful breakfast is good.Personel is very friendly and helpfull.Specially thanks Mr.Tarkan he is very polite and professional.Hotel is very very near Taksim square 1 min walk.so many cafe restaurant and shopping mall near to hotel. We will back again.
- johnjU3855CB (2/5): Very bad. People smoking in the room - Worst Hotel ever. Its all non smoking rooms but the front desk allow guest to smoke inside their room. I can smell people smoking all day and night. The Turks love to smoke and they dont care about others. worst mentally .The worst hotel ever. Don't book it unless there is no hotel in Istanbul.
- 425ibrahimb (2/5): You cant Sleep with the Noise - i was planning to stay at the hotel and booked a room for 4 nights. we arrived on friday, the hotel staff was nice . But unfortunately if you are looking for a good night sleep stay away. the hotel is surrounded by 4 clubs, and the noise cancellation or noise proofing does not exist. we were on the 3rd floor and it was like we were at the clubs and in the streets and can hear people chatting in the streets.a change for a quite room was not available as hotel manager who was nice told me that my room is the quietest one at the hotel but i already advised that in my booking i asked for a quiet room which was note supplied. in the end the hotel made me pay for 2 nights and i left to another hotel.
- cutiedriver (6/5): Bathrooms top, rooms in rather bad condition - It is a really central place. Directly at taksim and near to shops and bars. In the night you will definetly hear the noise from the clubs and bars around, though the neighborhood is not so nice. They provide at plugs in the rooms
Our double room had a great and clean bathroom. We liked it very much. The room itself was rather small but clean. The emergency exit was directly in the room.
The AC just functioned when the key was in the facility in the room. So it was not possible to keep the room cool during the day. Also the walls and the ceiling were wet and have been covered with paper to make it look less nasty.
The suite in the roof is not really a suite. It features a sleeping room, bathroom, a living room and a balcony. Though it may sound like a suite, it didn’t feel like one.
The tv is placed above the stairs and too far away from the sofa, the balcony had no furniture at all, was dirty and all the plants were rotten dry.
The breakfast room was lovely furnished and a friendly lady prepared us nice omelettes. Besides that the buffet was not very great, the food was in rather cheap condition, and the orange juice was not only from Tetra pack, it was also over and was not replaced since days maybe.
All in all it was ok. But definitely not worth a second visit.
- serveto2018 (10/5): wonderfull hotel - location was perfect,istiklal street 1 minute,taksim square 3 minute,metro station 3 minute,BREAKFAST very nice,very clean boutique hotel,alittle bit voice from around but i was relax in my room.thanks for eveything..proffesional management...
- wadadm2018 (10/5): perfect perfect - breakfast was great and delisios, location wonderfull..employers very good and helpful, hotel was very clean,a little bit voice from bar's but its normal bcz hotel is in downtown, close to everywhere....
- JulienN06 (2/5): HOTEL NOT TRUSTWORTHY - I tried to book through their website, but there was a technical problem. I called them and the manager called 'Fehmi' who on the phone was very co-operative booked me the room and refused to take the credit card information. The same day, I sent him by Whatsapp on his private number which provided me, the exact dates, the hours of check-in and check-out and the names of the occupants of the room and reconfirmed the reservation. Two weeks later, the day before the trip, I send him a message to confirm our arrival. On D-day, we arrive at the hotel at 5:00 am which is close to the Istiklal Avenue but must go down a steep slope. Once arrived, the receptionist tells us that there is no confirmation on our behalf, no rooms available, Fehmi the manager is not reachable, and he is sorry for the incident. Also all the hotels he knows are full. What to do? Booking.com does not even work in Turkey. We looked for hotels nearby but they were full also. We had to wait until noon to call a concierge and book a room at a high price. Of course, the manager did not call me back to apologise and leave us without solutions. Better to book with a third party and especially with a trustable hotel.
- myreviewx (2/5): A bit loud is an understatement - Unfortunately this is a hotel to avoid at all costs unless you intend to be out ALL night and sleep in the day. The hotel looks lovely by website images and the location seems great but you have 2 club/ bars below playing music till 07.00 in the morning. One is literally 2m opposite and the other 10m to the right. I'm a heavy sleeper so thought another reviewers comment "a little noisy" would be ok. No chance! On top the room was dirty: hairs on floor, half used toiletries, mold in bathroom, yellow droplets on toilet seat, stains on wall next to coffee making facilities...it felt like someone had checked out 2 mins before and the sheets had simply been straightened + towels swapped. If it wasn't for the apologetic staff and good mattress I would have scored "zero". We stayed over the weekend but I wouldn't even chance it another day.
- bramtomberg (10/5): Amazing service at Pino Verde! - The hotel is located in Beyoglu, not far from Taksim Square. The rooms are big and nice and there are lots of amenities. The price is really good. On weekends it's a bit loud, but earplugs are provided.
Staff is amazingly helpful!!
