Gopalakrishnan (5/5): - The new owners of the guesthouse were friendly. Though the room was small it was clean and well maintained. There was a bit of confusion. When i booked i selected room with terrace so that we can have the dam view. But the owners told room with terrace is on the ground floor which is facing the swimming pool and to get the room in the first floor there will be an extra cost. For 2 nights i paid BWP3350/- which i feel based on the amenities provided the price is on the higher side.

Bernice (1/5): I will never use this place again. False advertising and not 4star quality - The breakfast was the same everyday. Not a good variety or choices. Also food was limited. I was told I am only allowed to take 1 croissant and you only get 2 small strips of bacon. So we decided to go and eat breakfast at other places as this was not my standard of breakfast for a 4 star place. The place advertised a bar and a jacuzzi but we were not allowed to use the jacuzzi. The bar had no drinks and the glasses was full of dust. You cant order anything to drink. You must go and buy your own drinks. Which was not what I wanted to do. I wanted to relax at the bar in the afternoon and ordering drinks. The swimming pool was extremely slippery. Overall I had no good impression of this place and is totally over rated. You cant advertise things on a web site and then as a customer you can not use what is advertised.

Row (4/5): nice building, but will never go back. - Pretty Style The ground floor unit basically has a stoop or general walkway if you can call it that, not a terrace as we expected. We were supposed to have views of the mountain at least if not views of the dam. The owner said we do have a view...'of the swimming pool' really! The view outside our window was the boundary wall. The owners were not even there as they describe in the "room manual". The staff that did the breakfast are clearly not skilled enough to do breakfast. Breakfast is nothing to write home about eggs, toast, cheese, jam, and bacon (2 small strips each only - as per the other guests that eat bacon). Jacuzzi use is supposed to be part of the accommodation, but we had to hear long long stories from the the person that the owners left in charge about it has not been used since covid etc and had to first get permision. In fact we had too many complaints from the staff, that really should not be made the guests problem. He kept saying that he needs to contact the owners about things (the owners were not even in south africa at the time.) We were forced to confirm an exact breakfast time - we could not go for breakfast between the time advertised in the room guest book. No eating hot meals in the room - so if you not feeling to well, you still forced to go outside and use tables there, or the bar. The bottom of the pool is quite slimy. Contradictions and ridiculous conditions in room guest book!! - DSTV as shown - none - Warm Belgian Hospitality and personal attention - non what so ever, the owners were not there - Ordering of drinks anytime during the day - if the owners are not there, and one staff member in charge is gone out, well then this is also not true. - The mini bar in the room is supposed to have drinks - it was empty even the ice tray was empty. The ice tray was also filthy. - The use of Credit cards or Debit cards can be used only from R1000.00 and up.
