- Teresa (10/5): Not a typical hostel - A private room with private bathroom was booked over a few weekdays. We saw a "present" in the toilet and trash already in the bathroom trash upon arrival, but the rest of the room including floor was clean (It looked like someone sat on the bed though). The rest of the stay was great with peaceful evenings, good sleep, clean/fast elevator. The top floor of the building was quieter than a hotel even with lively bar area downstairs, so people who want noise can have noise, and also people who want quiet can have quiet. Breakfast was satisfying (not donuts) and replenished when needed. Location was within one mile of a major train station/bus depot, stores/supermarkets, parks/cathedrals, restaurants/bars. Staff happy to speak English. Stay was pleasant.

Mi cuarto era muy amplio y tenía un sofá. El personal es maravilloso. Me llevo muy buen recuerdo. El lugar está cerca de bares y restaurantes, y en línea recta se llega al centro ñ.
- Cindy-Aurelia (2/5): - L'hébergement est moins propre que celui de strabourg mais le cauchemar :je me suis faite voler mon portefeuille et j'ai eu peu de réactivité ou empathie. Cela ne coutait rien de demander aux autres roomate, plus au lieu d aller voir vu l importance la personne à l acceuil me dit qu elle va attendre la fin de la ronde de la dame de menage et me revenir . Toute ma vie est partie en fumée avec perte titre de séjour, permis Ivoirien donc on imagine la galère, carte vitale , cb, argent en espèces . Et vous êtes là posé sur votre siège à l acceuil? J ai insisté car de memoire je l avais laissé dans la tablette cachée dans le lit avant d aller me doucher donc il fallait fouiller pour le voir . Je venais pour une nuit je suis arrivée tard,douche , récupérer la commande uber eat pour manger en bas et j'ai dormi à peine 3h que je devais me doucher et repartir au train . Dans la fatigue j'ai oubliée donc oui c'est ma faute mais et s'il avait été pris dès le soir quand je mangeais ? A Strasbourg j ai toujours laissé mon trolley en chambre maintenant j aurais peur de ça aussi. En sortant à 7h30 de l'hôtel il n y a pas eu de nouvelle personne sur mon lit car check-in a 14h ou 15h . J ai appelé a 12h15 elle me rappelle à 13h environs et me dit que la dame de menage a commencé la tournée à 9h30 , que la gouvernante en chef est retournée voir et lui a fait une video je demande de voir derriere la banquette où j'avais posé mon sac si ça glissé .J'attends encore le rappel de la dame ....

- Richard (8/5): - A good vibe in the bar area in the evening. Noise from bar area not noticeable in our rooms. Great staff, decent self catering facilities if required. We stayed in the villa room, my wife and I downstairs, 3 adult kids upstairs. The bathroom is ensuite with our room but not a problem, shared bathrooms for communal use are 30s walk from the room.. The worst thing for us was the cold: the central heating for the room and the living space wasn't working, not good for late January.

- JUNKO (8/5): テレビ以外は問題なく快適に過ごせました。 - 広くてとても快適な部屋で、バスルームもシャワーの温度や水圧も申し分ないです。ただ、今まで2回利用しましたが、一度も部屋のテレビをつけることができませんでした。テレビをつけるまでの手続きが複雑で、部屋の番号を入力する画面に行きつかなくて毎回テレビは諦めてました。(私にはテレビはあまり重要じゃなかったのでまぁそれでもいいのですが)朝食はとても美味しくてゆったりと食べることができました。フロントのスタッフもいつも感じ良く対応してくれました。また利用したいです。(今回利用した時はフロントに繋がれていない大型犬がいましたが大人しい犬でした)

- Tamara (10/5): - Wir waren eine Nacht da, während der Rückfahrt von England. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Frühstück. War eins der tollsten Hostel in denen ich je war, es war sauber, die Betten waren gemütlich und das Personal nett. Uns wurde super geholfen, trotz Sprachbarriere und das Frühstück war für den Preis auch in Ordnung. Dankeschön!

- Beth (10/5): Great stay! - Great first experience of a hostel! I felt totally safe as a solo female traveller, the hostel was clean, modern and the staff were friendly. It was also in a lovely part of the town!
- Maria (6/5): - I liked the area which is a monument of France and the nearby park, I didn't like the fact of not being able to see the Roland Garros because they don't have a TV. Also Breakfast did not seem that appealing for the price. There was no clarity as to where the C10 could be found, the exits of the Gare are multiple. It would help if it was described as on the same pavement as the Lille Europa station.

- Montana (6/5): - Location was good right in the city center and across from a really good bakery. We had a single room and had to share the bathroom with the entire floor. There should have been more bathrooms per floor. Only one bathroom for the floor was not enough. Bathroom was ok but was plugged in the middle on the night when we went to go use it. Room was quite and comfortable. It is good if you are staying for 1 - 2 nights but it may not be good if staying any longer than that.

J'ai été reçu comme quelqu'un qui dérangeait, sans sourire, tel un usager d'un service public en période d'affluence, qui reçoit des informations sous forme d'injonctions contraignantes. Dommage Ceci dit les lits sont bien équipés (prises, petit coffre, lumière, rideaux, miroir ) - Mais un seul casier dans une chambre de 8 Une cuisine collective agréable et un bar sympa.

- Anne (10/5): Hôtel rapport qualité prix TB - A 3 jours de mon arrivée à Lille, les hôtels disponibles affichaient des tarifs supérieurs à 120 euros. J ai hésite à choisir un dortoir pour femme mais j' ai tente compte tenu des bons commentaires. Je confirme que ma nuit du jeudi a été très calme bien que l hôtel héberge des etudiants, les sanitaires très propres, bus ligne 10 a côté, rien a redire. Je valide cet hôtel

- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hostel is very close to Lille city center, 10 mins walking, in a beautiful neighborhood with many fashion shops,bistros, cafes and restaurants. There is a typical French style living around the premises. There is a bar that is open in the evenings and many locals come to enjoy a drink and there is a good energy in the place. Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served in the morning for additional cost. The hostel kitchen is quite spacious. I spent two nights in this hostel and I liked it, in my next trip to Lille I will stay at this same hostel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bueno pero podría ser mejor - El hostel se ubica detrás de un bar en una calle principal. Solo puedes cancelar en la recepción, no puedes cancelar vía la aplicación. LO BUENO Los espacios de las habitaciones son amplios, privados (cada litera tiene cortina), locker en tu espacio de litera (aunque nunca pude usarlo), foco con graduación de luz y colchón en buen estado. Las sábanas estuvieron limpias. LO MALO Hay una lavadero en la habitación que no recibe el aseo adecuado, pues salen mosquitos de la tubería del lavadero todo el día y no es agradable encontrarlos en el lugar donde duermes. Los baños no son limpiados adecuadamente, siempre encuentras algo sucio a pesar de que acaban de limpiar (papeles en el lavadero, en el piso, duchas son moho, baños con suciedad, espejos sucios). Algunas veces te toca un personal que puede ser descortés y generarte un mal rato por no tomarse el tiempo de explicarte las reglas del check in. No tienen espacio de cocina así que debes comer fuera siempre.

- Selim (8/5): - The rooms are great, the bed is very comfortable, but the bathrooms are terrible. There is no ventilation and you cant breathe if someone is taking or recently took a shower. Other than that everything was fine. They serve good quality drinks for reasonable prices and the staff is very kind.

Petit souci d’odeur d’égoût dans la salle de bain (mais apparement c’était le cas dans tout Lille).

- Robbert (6/5): Slept well, but bad shower and average Wi-Fi - The positives: The bed was real good and the room was clean and did not stink. The common room looked really nice and there was free coffee in the morning. It's right in the old part of town. You won't be needing any public transportation for exploring. The negatives: The Wi-Fi is just average. I couldn't even watch YouTube on its lowest setting without constant loading screens. And I had 4 bars on the Wi-Fi connection. The shower is just bad. You cannot regulate the heat and the nozzle is fixed and small. Also there is barley room for your clothes. Please put up and extra hook.

L'hôtel est situé au cœur de la vieille ville dans un quartier très sympa. Pour nous - les vieux - un séjour parmi les plus jeunes est revigorant.

- SAMIRA (8/5): Très bien - Belle chambre avec tout le nécessaire. L’accueil très chaleureux. L’auberge est très bien située. Je ne suis pas restée longtemps (2 jours). Malgré cela j’ai pu rencontrer des personnes très sympathiques dans la cuisine commune. Normalement en séjournant sur place vous avez droit à une réduction pour la restauration le soir. Même en le précisant je ne l’ai pas eu. Je n’ai pas fait attention sur le coup... le petit déjeuner est juste délicieux. C’est une bonne adresse à connaître sur Lille.

- Verified traveler (6/5): 1st hostel experience - If you want somthing cheap and close by to bars and restaurants. . Then this is the place to stay. Rooms are at the back on the hotel which means it's quiet and cannot hear outdoor noise. The front of the hotel is a bar. This was my 1st experience at a hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and spoken good English. Provided me with travel adaptor and padlock. There was breakfast for €5 at the hostel too. Good for backpackers and solo travelers.

- Jemilla (10/5): Gastama Hostel - I had been travelling up through Europe after spending some months in Lesvos, Greece. I had stayed in hostels in Hungary and Germany - Lille was my last stop before home, and it was a genuine relief to have found a decent hostel. The others I had stayed in were so different, even for politeness of staff, a bit shockingly bad in Berlin as well. It was a relief to be served by genuinely welcoming and helpful staff, the room and bed was perfect and the atmosphere of the place made it better than a hotel, somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. Lille is a favourite city of mine, and this will be a place to recommend and stay in next time I am there.
