Guest Reviews
- Ronald (10/5): - Nice location
- Leonard (6/5): - Shampoo despenser broken, no fridge or microwave, and bugs
But the staff? They were very kind. I really appreciate them.
- Voyage612554 (2/5): Stiff and cheap hospitality - Let’s start their worst hospitality during breakfast - I asked the waitress for a drinking glass she told me we run out already and just left me hanging by the way they served spoiled papaya that’s around 9am+ and when I came back around 8pm I asked HK for an extra duvet or blanket since I’m going to use the sofa bed since we booked an executive room which is queen bed and 1hk told me to talk to FO which I did and spoke to Happy of FO and honestly the conversation doesn’t feel good since she always demand a 600 change for extra duvet I asked her if I can talk to their Manager since she’s into stiff and demanding mood that she need to charge the extra duvet by the way they also charge 100 per bedsheet so to all my friends in the hospitality I will not recommend this hotel at all because it will ruin your mood for this kind of stiffness .
- mime31 (4/5): Big Hotel Cebu - The rooms are very basic, bathroom has mould, shower was just a trickle of water. Toilet was always blocked. Mattress was uncomfortable! Traffic noise all night No seats on balcony, View to pathway, shops obstructed by hedge
Charges for extra towel, No hand, face towel. No hand soap
Disappointed as photos are very deceiving😣
- stephen (8/5): Big hotel - Hotel very good needs to have fridge and safe in room, rooms on front very noisy from main road, breakfast exalent would definitely stay again but request room at rear.
- 347JamesR (10/5): Great value for money, location and buffet - Big hotel is one of my favorite hotels in Cebu. Personnel is friendly, location is great and the complimentary buffet breakfast is unbeatable for the rate. Rates on promo are very attractive, tip is to monitor promo on their own website and try book ahead. Located opposite Park Mall it's easy to go anywhere like lapu lapu, seaside or city.
- Nino Jollan (4/5): - noisy
- Chia Ching (6/5): - Next to a noisy road, even at night
- Randy (2/5): - Room dusty and poor bathroom light.
- Imelda (8/5): - Very convenient
- Imelda (8/5): - The area is accessible , walkable, and the hotel itself is ok !
- Maria (10/5): - Very pleasant staff, and nice hotel. Very likely to stay again if will be going to Cebu in the future.
- Melissa (6/5): - Adequate for a night’s stay
- Doug (10/5): - Very nice!!
- jordan121991 (4/5): Book by mistake, was expecting the BAI. - I will start by saying this hotel was booked by mistake. I was expecting the Bai hotel but the long agent thought I said big. I should have twigged with the price but thought I was getting a cracking deal!
The visit to this hotel was at the end of our 2 week trip and started off bad and gradually got worse as we went on.
To start with we arrived at the hotel to check in, provided with passports as is standard and then asked to wait, sat down in the foyer and grabbed a coffee, after 30 minutes waiting I went back to the desk and was told that because we had arrived at 13:58 (Check in was 14:00) we had been put to the back of the queue and nobody had bothered to let us know.
We stayed on the 8th floor and the room was incredibly hot on arrival with the AC being off. Overall the room was clean but the sheets and towels all had very light staining.
Bathroom was small with the toilet in a very strange position. The shower pressure was very poor with no hot water even when turned up full. After calling down was basically told that’s just the way it is.
Breakfast choice was poor. Rice and cold fried chicken. Space is also incredibly limited and they don’t warn you if all seats are taken before crossing your name off the list.
The only plus about this hotel is the location being opposite a large mall with decent food choices.
- Dennus (10/5): - Great place to stay, close to both appointments and the breakfast was great.
- Rocky (8/5): - Check in and check out are time consuming
- Arianne Share (10/5): - Great hotel near the park mall lots of restaurants… not so far in the airport also
- Eduardo (6/5): - Great value for location, very noisy if you sleep close to main street. Needs maintenance, basics. Paint. Better cleaning! Replacing or fixing faucets. Food delicious. Great service at front desk and food area ! Would return, just request a room away from street @
- 456jamies (10/5): BIG hotel is our go to. - Our, go to, hotel in the city. Good value, great staff, and extremely accommodating will always stay here. I have been in town for surgery. These guys made life so much easier for us. Thank you 😊. We will be back again and again. Just sort the kitchen out and don't deliver room service in take outcontainers.
- nyriam (8/5): - Some items as basic as ref, microwave and flat iron, are made available only upon request and at additional cost to guests.
- JinyangY2 (6/5): Overhearing banging and moaning😂 - WE COULD LITERALLY HEAR THE NEXT ROOM GUESTS HAVING SEX WITH ALL THE BANGING ON THE WALL AND THEIR MOANING. That was funny to experience with my partner but what if a family with children experience the same thing? 😂
We stayed here during Sinulog week and the location is perfect with many restaurants and parkmall just outside. It's a decent place to stay on a budget although the staff are quite stiff and stern. Food was fine nothing special.
- Maria Gertrude (10/5): - Great free breakfast buffet
- lax0725 (6/5): GOOD HOTEL BUT NEEDS BETTER GUEST EXPERIENCE. - The FO needs morwle training on customer service and guest experience. Arrived and theh are not very welcoming. She continued doing her photocopying and fixing the registration cards of previous guests. She could have started a conversation while doing so. The other lady was just very busy focused on her computer typing and I am the only one at the reception desk. As a Dept of Tourism Trainer for Filipino Brand of Service Excellence, guest experience is what I teach.
On the other hand, i like the qell-appointed rooms, fairly clean and fresh. The rustic themed design is a plus. The location is perfect. Few steps away from shops and food establishments. Very convenient. The guard is more welcoming than thw receptionist.
- Reynaldo (8/5): - Excellent location; very close to almost everything, i.e. shopping mall, restaurants and even diy laundry service.
- 456jamies (4/5): A review I never wanted to write, quite sad. - I'm actually quite sad to have to write this review as I have been a good customer of this hotel for many years. The service, food, rooms and rates used to be a 5 out of 5 experience everytime. Unfortunately this has dramatically changed, the food is awful now and the room service arrives in a take out box with plastic utensils, yet they still charge an additional fee! The TV and channel selections are never working properly, the rooms have not seen a lick of paint ... ever. Water pressure is no good, towels are old and close to their end of life, no toiletries or bottled water in the room oh and they give you 1 pillow, if you request more than 1, they will charge you. As I said it's sad to see. The one saving grace is the service in the bar and restaurant from the staff that have known us for many years. The new hires simply don't care or are not being managed properly. Also they fill the place with OJT to save money, though I understand this, you can't completely staff a hotel with inexperienced staff just to save a few pisos. Disappointed.
- peter (8/5): - Good location for shopping and food
- DEMETRIUS (6/5): - property was in a good area.
- gabriellY9825FS (10/5): Budget Friendly Hotel - This is one of the few hotels that is not expensive yet feels like you are staying in a expensive one. The room is spacious, staff are very nice, attends to your request immediately, & have decent wifi
- MMW (6/5): - The hotel is so so, shower water is to low but the bed looks clean, the stuff we're nice.
- Sonia. Bauro (10/5): nice hotel - very nice room, and really good breakfast
- worldfoot1985 (10/5): Good hotel with nice amenities - For any expats (non Filipinos) this hotel is on par with a Holiday inn or Holiday in express. The quality of the hotel is good and slightly above par for the Philippines. I enjoyed staying there and will definitely go back next trip.
- thesupr (6/5): Simple Hotel - It is all right for an overnight stay and you get what you get at the rate paid. The room is simple and small with an equally small shower/toilet room. Shower area does not look too inviting but at least the water heater attached is working.
Breakfast is included and it is adequate at the price paid. In terms of location, it is near Parkmall, Times Square and a Rico's restaurant. Given the proximity, I was able to take advantage of going to a salon as well as to the lechon restaurant during the short stay. While out, you can take advantage of a safe at the reception as the rooms do not have one.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The concept
- kimSaeRi (10/5): Cozy. Homey. Price Wise - I love how each floor has different theme yet kept its private protocol among every guests. The hotel room we'd checked in are comfortable and the check-in process are very flexible. Like you can adjust your date without any fuss and stuff. Perfect for travelling couples or families especially this holiday season.
- tuy649 (10/5): We are going back to this nice hotel - Family of 4 stayed for 3 weeks. The room is clean. Aircond were running good. Hot shower and water pressure were all good. You can request a mini fridge for minimal fee. Every floor they have a water dispenser where you can refill cold and hot water. The staffs are very helpful, smiling face, friendly, and always greet you. Like wise the staffs in the restaurant were very attentive. The complimentary breakfast is not much fancy but is enough to fill you up. At night time inside the restaurant, they have live music.
There are lots of restaurant around the neighborhood. The Parkmall is just across the street. There is also a laundry store where you can drop your dirty cloths with reasonable price. Grocery store is inside the mall. There is an air condition bus travel to SM mall or SM Seaside Cebu (3rd largest mall in the Phil.) for 25 peso for one way. The International and the domestic airport are just 25 to 30 mins if it is not traffic.
- Alan (8/5): - Surprisingly nice, almost a boutique hotel. Solid three stars bordering on four. No gym but there’s one 50 meters down the road where you can work out for $2 a day.
- Nanzee (8/5): - The staffs are excellent! The hotel price for budgeted longer stay is reasonable. There is hot water and the AC works good. The room is clean. The bathroom needs some work like the sink, it has stains and rust. The amenities is lacking. Like there's no fridge, safe, hair dryer and iron. The breakfast is almost the same thing the whole week, and I stayed for 3 weeka. But it's a complimentary bfast so that's good. I just wish they could change their menu. Speaking of menu, the restaurant doesn't have much of a choice either. The chef needs to up his cooking as well cause it's not something that would make me want to eat again. There's buffet lunch, not much on the buffet but it is reasonably priced. The location is great. There's a mall on the opposite side of the street. Albeit as small one, it still has grocery, clothes, pharmacy and lots of restaurant! Beside the hotel, there are bars and karaoke. So you don't need to take a car. And one more thing that bothered me so much though, there is no sound proofing in the room so if you're a light sleeper like me, those loud guests, with no care at all that it's late at night or midnight, will wake you up and keep you up. Also, at one time, I thought there was a bear snoring so loud beside me cause my next door guests was snoring so loud that it echoes around my room. But, there is also safety. There is CCTV in the hallways and elevator. The free wifi is working fine, slow but fine.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property presented well in foyer and reception areas. Room OK and clean - but bathroom starting to show its age (e.g. rust on taps) - would benefit from a makeover. No shelf space in bathroom to store toiletries and no power outlets. Room lacked a safe and a fridge; noisy aircon and we just could not work out TV controls.
Good location
- dokome02 (6/5): PCP Research Forum Chong Hua - The hotels facade is very inviting. Although got some problems during check in, they gave me a used and dirty room, however they replaced it as soon. Have to wait at the lobby for few minutes though. The room and bathroom is little bit small but comfortable enough for a business trip. We had coffee at the resto during the night but have to finish quickly coz some mosquitoes are biting around. Hope they can address this. The breakfast is fair enough. Whats nice about this place is that its very near to a mall and stores.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff were kind, bfast though limited was fine, room was clean though shower head could be better (shower to slow water flow); roomy room but no house slippers for deluxe... overall- 👍
- zhairus_22 (10/5): Nice vacation experience - Big hotel is have a good location to the city near at park mall and city Square is very convenient to stay all the staff especially the front office was very helpful to assist the guests need and gave information. The food in the restaurant especially the buffet in breakfast was so very delicious and also the waiter was very attentive. The room was nice and cozy. I was stay at the executive room at 4th floor
Just the only 2 things need to improve of the hotel
1st is the additional smile of the staff in restaurant..
2nd please kindly change the bath towel that you set in the room because I don't know if is a bath towel or a condem.?
But rather than that I'm happy to stay here.
😊😊😊
- 647kymh (8/5): Overnight Stay Big hotel Suites - We booked an executive room. The Room is very spacious, it’s located on the 3rd floor. Very easy access to dining. There’s a lot of restaurant to choose from in within the area. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I’ll stay here again In my future visit in cebu.
- GIAJane (4/5): Disappointing - I was very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. My room was beside the service elevator so you could hear the noises from the staff. They did not have a refrigerator in the room as well.
The function room was even worse. There were pillars in the room so it covered the view from the screen. There was also only one projector screen which made it difficult for the audience. The speaker wouldn’t work when connected to the laptop.
- RDP (8/5): - The hotel seems to be declining in terms of maintaining its property. Bathroom fixtures showing its age
- ayumi376 (2/5): Door lock locked - Different from the photos that was advertised. The breakfast is ok. Customer service, what customer service??? Front desk personnel doesn’t know how to greet, even the one in the breakfast and the housekeeping. The door lock is busted, simply doesn’t work. I confronted the front desk about the door and she didnt say a word. I just forfeited one night bec i cant stand staying in that hotel
- KL (8/5): - I hope there was a fridge in the room. I can buy some cold drinks and enjoy at late night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - no business center. staff personnel are polite and customer-centric.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn’t like anything at all, except the location which is ideal, because it’s near to restaurants...
- Lukeysarbear (8/5): Good for a city base. - Nit a bad hotel by any means. Its clean, quiet, safe which is all good in a Filipino city.
Positives
Upgraded our room after a booking mix up.. It was their fault but nice to have it quickly and easily sorted.
Room was spacious and had nice sitting area, kettle and hot drinks and reasonable bathroom. AC worked well and kept us cool at night. Even had a sea view (albeit of a Dock and across a shopping mall and building site!!)
Staff were all friendly and helpful
Negative,
The neighbourhood is OK but nothing amazing, but there are a few places to eat which is good as the restaurant in the hotel let's the side down.
Breakfast (included) is a buffet but with a bizarre range of food, from sweet bread rolls, rice, soup, scrambled egg, bread and butter pudding, fried pork (might have been chicken too) salad, there is no Bread, no toaster, no butter (just awful margarine)
Vegetarian options are very limited.
As for dinner there are no vegetarian options at all. Maybe soup.
It's odd as this is a modern hotel with guests from all over the world.
Anyway, not a bad base if you need to top up your visa which is done just a short (if unpleasant) walk away.
There are good food options in the area so don't be put off.. Just be prepared!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient directly across from Park mall with multiple restaurants and eateries and stores For every purpose
- tansally (4/5): Good location does not necessarily mean good service - We stayed at Big Hotel last March 2019 for 2 nights. We booked 2 rooms (3pax and 4pax) and both have unfinished gray paint on some parts of the walls. I’m not sure if this is part of their ‘décor’ but the room gives a sense of being ‘old.’ Beds are clean though. Desk lamp was broken but the maintenance was able to replace the fluorescent tube within 15 minutes. Water pressure is quite low but at least they have shower heater.
However, all the towels were really old, torn / with holes, and worst of all, damp. We asked for new ones, but they’re still the same. When I asked for extra, they said I will be charged for it! Same thing with their toilet paper. Since we are 4 in a room, I asked for an additional roll but they said it is not free.
Upon check-in on the first day, I specifically requested to have a packed breakfast on the 3rd day at 5:00am because we were leaving by 5:30am. The staff even wrote it down. On the day itself, I called frontdesk around 4:00am to remind him about our breakfast. But by 5:45am, it was still not prepared because the staff I talked to has punched out already and he didn’t endorse it to the next staff on duty.
The only saving grace here is that they provide us with a thermos of hot water for 2 nights upon request for free. We provided our own coffee.
- Geof (10/5): Spacious business suite - The business suite was great. It was big and spacious.
- Cheryl (10/5): - The Hotel Room was very clean. Staff was helpful and nice. Free full breakfast buffet. 24hrs bars service.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - They should at least put an extra toilet paper, extra towel in case one gets wet. Simply plain room.No free coffee in the room. I always like to make coffee before going out. Breakfast is good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good Service, good rates, and good location, wonderful hospitality
- Boon Song Peter (6/5): overall experience : Good - everything was so fine until the final day when i checked out noticing that there is a charge to my room for 3 buffet lunch and a piece of cake which occurred on my second day stay . As this is a business trip and all my lunches were business lunches and it was arranged by my contacts there but of course after clarifying it among themselves , it is was settled but i was puzzled as there isn't any explaination to me on it . Next is the room clean up . the new towels and bathing accessories was replaced but my used tooth-brush , tooth-paste and soap was not clear away which surprises me how they do that . Lastly is the WIFI connections which is quite bad ( on and off , log in and out automatically ) as for modern situation , this is a very highly look upon service . after all , i will still come back to stay again .
- David III (10/5): - Neat hotel. Cozy. Recommended.
- MG (10/5): - BIG Hotel offers 24 hour check-in, which was great since I arrived at about 4:00 am. In addition, when there was a possibility of delayed travel to Bohol, they were able to consider our extending our stay. Although we made our fast craft, the fact they were so accommodating was a great feature. I would definitely stay here again if I was traveling late and needed a place to stay close to the airport.
- Daniel (10/5): Will stay here again. - Nice, clean hotel in a great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Will be visiting again. Thank you so much l.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very dated hotel needs a refurbish and seems to be cost cutting on everything
- Jojo (6/5): - Floor under bed is dirty
- Gilma (10/5): Recommend - My room was upgraded without additional charge. The hotel crew was nice. And the location is good too, very convenient, close to the mall and restaurants. One thing i hoped to improve is the bathroom to have something like soap rack where you can put your soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. overall I am happy on my stay.
- Rolina (10/5): - Best locatipn, thought service is not that good enough but the place is so much homey feelings.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - The hotel is nice and very reasonable rate. The location is great! Plenty to within 1 minute walk!
- Saint (10/5): Outstanding - Very nice
- Verified traveler (8/5): Recommended hotel in Mandaue - It was a good stay. Rooms are contemporary, clean, and has the basics. It would be nice if there was a bath tub, rather than just a shower. But not a deal breaker. Still good. Breakfast included was also great, it wasn't the typical continental. There were lots of food options. The dining area also has good ambiance. There were 2 smoking areas that were surely appreciated. The staff were helpful and concerned. Parking area at the basement was a plus as I used a rented vehicle to go around, and there were 2 elevators that served everyone. I'd opt to stay here again for a business trip.
- MaryAnn (8/5): - The room (Deluxe) we booked was okay for 2 people. Plenty of room to move around. Shower was quite out dated. Bed was comfortable.
Room was clean but we did have issues about some days our room was not cleaned when we got back from our outside trips. We had to call the front desk to request housekeeping to clean.
Breakfast was offered in our booking. It was good breakfast, selection was already good for lunch (Rice and Meat). Not my type of breakfast but I see other guests enjoying it. So we guess it was good.
Brewed Coffee was the best deal for me. It was really good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - An executive room should have two pillows.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely hotel close to the mall. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff
- Bruce (4/5): - My negative review is based upon the WIFI service. Their servers do not recognize or connect with IOS, I only have Apple products, iPhone , MacAire and iPad. The wifi signal was strong, but it does not work with IOS.
So Apple users alert, do not choose this hotel unless you want to be off the grid! The hotel management is aware and has been aware of this problem for sometime without prompt action by the Hotel Owners there is nothing the staff can do1 So I had to leave.
I choose this hotel because of it's location.
- Jaime Niccolo (8/5): Great location! - Location was great as it was near a lot of restaurants and bars.
- John Douglas (10/5): Our favorite hotel in Mandaue - We always stay at Big Hotel now when we are in Cebu. The rooms are nice, clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the buffet is great, and it's in a very good location for doing business in Mandaue.
- Bling (4/5): Hotel close to Chong Hua hosptial - We booked for junior suite. We were told at check in that our room was double booked so we were offered to stay in another bldg with 2 single beds placed together or stay in the same bldg but cheaper. If we stay in the cheaper room we can use the extra money for meals (was unnecessary since our booking was with breakfast). The bed is as hard as a rock that I ended having back ache. We have 2 towels, no wash cloth or hand towel. Breakfast was not vegetarian friendly. They have bread with only one choice of jam. Toiletry is one small bottle of shampoo with conditioner, toothbrush, 2 small hand soap. One good thing is, we were able to borrow adaptor for our gadgets.
- Lorne (8/5): Nice hotel right across from the Park Mall - Hotel is clean with a friendly staff, the free morning breakfast varies from day to day but always satisfying. The Park Mall is right across the street with a wide variety of choices for an evening meal. I would definitely stay there again
- Molly (10/5): Great stay! - Wonderful staff. Good food in the restaurant downstairs.
- alan (2/5): - The Hotel had workmen doing some work and making a terrible noise with hammers or such like at 10pm until 11pm then they started again at 2am until 5am. We had been travelling from the U.K for 22hrs with no proper sleep and we couldn't even go to sleep properly with the noise in our floor. We complained to the staff many times but to no avail. We won't stay there again. The Hotel had no regard for the customers comfort, and were quite content to let the noise to go on!
- Lee (8/5): - should have refrigerators in room and coffee /tea should be provided daily in the room. The towels were dingy, grayish in color and ants were found in the bathroom sink daily. The windows/sliding doors are NOT sound proof and the traffic noise could be heard every morning.
- Jo Ann (6/5): - Our room was upgraded to Business Suite since I requested a room to accommodate us .. The suite was pretty big, enough to accomodate a group of 4 (2 adults,2 kids). Our stay could have been perfect if the suite room was provided with bath towels that is also good for four, a water heater just so we can make use of the coffee set that was also provided in he room...
- Lawman (8/5): Good hotel overall - Rooms are nice. Location is good. Restaurant food is good during the day but dinner selection is too limited. Water pressure was horrible until some "repair" was made and then it was OK. WIFI is = 56k speeds at best except at 3am and then its 2 to 3mb down. Penthouse loft room was a good choice.
- HARUKA (8/5): Totally nice but noisy in the midnight - It was very comfortable and big room.
Breakfast buffet- available to eat nice food.
Shower is very weak.
Unfortunately very noisy customers outside of the room but staff treat them very well
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room Preparedness - We had to to wait inside the room after check in since the room was not set up properly despite of numerous call 2 weeks before arrival.
- Rom Dale (8/5): Penthouse suite is a must stay! - Great value for the money. The penthouse room was a great change from your typical hotel room. Location was perfect. Directly across from shopping and food. Breakfast was very delicious with a good variety of food.
- Jonna (10/5): Satisfied - We enjoy our stay. Big and clean Room, Staff was friendly and nice food. Fast service. Highly recommended.
- Simon (10/5): Great place for centrality of location - It was in a perfect position and location for our intended business after which the convenience of the location was perfect for some great food deals and window shopping . The room was perfect. The service was efficient. And the breakfast was superb. Thanks that the wifi was consistent and strong enabling me to my online contact.
- Colin (2/5): Room 422 - absolute rubbish and not prepared ! - Walls still basic grey plaster .. television did not work .. no plug in bathroom basin .. no hot water to bathroom basin - room preparation awful - sadly not a fault of reception but management are useless - had to re-book at a decent hotel (Citi Park) after the first night - no refunds for the other four nights - don’t use this awful place !!
- Craig (8/5): - Very nice hotel in Cebu City. Great restaurant.
- ailovehoneytime (8/5): We love our room - We had booked executive room and it was very spacious, super clean and perfect view. It was fantastic!! Me and my honey liked it so much and the hotel was perfectly located at a very convenient area since everything that you want was out there. Store, shopping and esp foods were everywhere. The only bad in this hotel was their Wi-Fi. Very pooooooorrrrr!!! You need to go out from your bed and open the door for you to have better signal. And the food was ok. Not that special. But still i wanna recommend this hotel.
- El (8/5): nice & comfy - accesible to any establishment like mall restuarant & transpo.
- Ann (8/5): Good location, but not designed for families - This is a nice hotel in a good location, across from a shopping center. However, I was there with my family and we did not get enough towels for our room. We were informed additional towels are available, for a fee. We booked the room for three people but had two towels... we never received additional towels. This small issue reflects badly on the hotel.
- Gary (8/5): WIFI in room is bad, local area is very good - Big Hotel started with some STUPID RULE list like I was in grade school. How stupid.
WIFI barely works in the room, but does work well in the lobby. The lobby is better than the internet café.
For the price and location, this will be my preferred location in Cebu City. SM is close, but Ayala is very far. Traffic as always is awful. So, I avoid traffic by walking where I need to go. In Time Square you have any type of restaurant you want and a popular disco called LIV disco.
- K (8/5): - Very good hotel, locationwise and comfortwise, but wished they had more facilities like a cooler or refrigerator. Added an extra guest for one night but didnt give him pillows, towels and blankets until I requested, which was about 3 in the morning since we went back late and only then realized he had no stuff.
- Gary (8/5): Bad wifi, silly rules, but a good hotel. - The wifi was very bad. It would work in the lobby but not in the room. Right now, I am on my GF hotspot.
Upon check in I was handed a set of "rules" by the front desk. Who does that? The rules included, don't use our utensils in your room. No guests after 10 pm or you will pay a fine. What?
Otherwise, the hotel was very good. The breakfast buffet featured coffee that was very good and a good assortment of food. One treat was the on demand pancakes. I had these every day of my stay and the fresh made pancakes were excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): good location - hotel location is on a busy street. eating places near-by
- Verified traveler (8/5): Affordable rooms - Despite the spacious rooms, good make-up service, and delicious buffet breakfast, the prices for the rooms are definitely worth the pay ✨
- Roy (8/5): BIG Welcome - Certainly got a big welcome. Booked two executive rooms but were told that they had overbooked so there were giving one standard and one executive as the price was the same. However over booking is the hotels responsibility and the guest should be upgraded not given the room at the same price. Very good facilities though they have chosen to leave the room walls with bare plaster and give cups and saucers in the hospitality try but no kettle, coffee or tea. 'Free' breakfast has a good quality but largely Filipino food.
