• ZHI YAN (10/5): - Located in the older part of JB town. Near City Square, JB Sentral and CIQ. Lots of food options. Only complain is that the bed is too soft and there isn’t a hair dryer in the room. It’s a quite stressful unloading luggage if arriving by car because the one-way street is very narrow and no other vehicles can pass your stationary vehicle. Although there is a huge police station just down the street, walking around at night didn’t feel safe.

• wan (6/5): - We were asked to pay a deposit of rm$10 per room but this deposit not returned to me upon check-out so I'm not sure if it's a refundable deposit. Staff at check-in was pleasant and accommodating. Asked for a change of room as the first room assigned, there's pool of water in-between the glass surface and wooden table + broken glass corner covered with a plastic sheet. Room smelled terrible too. Staff immediately acted upon our request. 2nd room was ok but noisy since it's at level 1 facing a coffee shop. Still smelled of cigarettes though. We hv a 2nd room at higher floor, was ok but can smell cigarettes when other guests are smoking in their room. The door doesn't seems to lock well so we were kinda worried. Beds were too soft for comfort. In one room, water was leaking from the hose when turned on the shower head. Hot water was consistent. Even the sink tap has hot water option. Air con was very cold in one room, but the other room was hot. There's fridge and water kettle in the room. Shampoo, shower gel and toothbrush toothpaste and bath towels provided. Coffee and tea with creamer and sugar provided. Air dryer provided upon request. Hotel was within a lane with lots of eating options, you will be spoilt for choices. Environment wise may not be ideal for females especially late at night. Very near city square and the heritage street.

• Navigator42336373386 (10/5): RECOMMENDED! - Great experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is super clean and super nice. When you get off the elevator to the upper floors, you'd be surprised how nice this place is! Walking distance to nice places and there's a kopitiam and a convenience store downstairs :)

• Pamela (8/5): - The hotel is close to the train station but the area around hotel was dirty and many homeless people sleeping on sidewalks. The river walkway and night market two street over was great. The bed was really comfortable but room showing lots of signs of age. And mold in the bathroom could use a scrub. Good night sleep and it served its one night purpose.
• MsTong2006 (10/5): Clean Room, fresh and Complete Amenities and Excellent Staff!! - I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight that BELLLO is not just a hotel for us its like a home away from home.. to the Housekeeping staff i did not get the name but they always ensure we got Clean rooms, cleans sheets and fresh towels The hotel got good location near to food areas, walking distance to immigration and near to shopping mall and the best part are the STAFF!!! I cant thank Enough BRYAN who is always very accommodating everytime we check in he gave us super warm welcome and remember us and our preferences in room and location simply 5star!!! DEVI - friendly and accommodating when we came back to hotel very late despite of the fact she was alone she still graciously obliged to deliver to our room our request for extra pillow @ 2am! Very Reliable staff indeed!! Lastly. SHAHRUL although he was newest staff that we met with our recent staycation he was very welcoming and knowledgeable. truly service with a heart!! Thank you BELLLO for making our stay always a pleasant one!! Cant wait for our next trip!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL!!!
• emmet (8/5): - Small simple hotel, very convenient location, helpful staff at reception desk. Dated room,but comfortable bed, good wifi and shower. Lots of activity, restaurants and street life just outside, perhaps appropriate for a border crossing city. Not fancy but did the job, would stay again.
• Discover09997202973 (8/5): Hopefully the hotel management can improve on the mini fridges - Good location surrounding with eateries. Easy to book grab or to get a taxi. The mini fridge is not cold in my room #309. It could be breakdown but there's a light on. If possible there's some homeless people that slept near to the hotel area. Some bad odours surround them.

• Lee Katarina (10/5): LKC - A good place to stay with friendly hotel staff. Davey the receptonist was very nice and accommodating.The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable. There were 2 shopping malls within walking distance and those that were not, I rode with InDrive which was much cheaper then Grab. Plenty of street food shops around the hotel and very cheap. I would stay here again. Thank you Belllo Hotel.

• Curious21346631143 (10/5): easy access to everywhere - good and nice room. unfortunatelly cannot have extra bed. All room all designed for 2 person. there also no extra blanket. But the access is very easy. Close to any food, just cross the street, closed to the nearest mall JHCC, just walk around 3 minutes. easy to get to JB Sentral. Just walk around 5 minutes.
• Explore04623372970 (4/5): Please Take Note!!! - I’m stay at room 4 level 408. Is very noise in the middle of the night. The window panel is broken. The bed is so soft can’t sleep well at all. With that kind of price you can get something better at that area too. The room is quite run down. Will never go back again. To bed I didn’t take any photos

• Pioneer42893397267 (10/5): Excellent Stay @ Bello! - Booked due to the location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very friendly front desk staffs and check in was very smooth. Housekeeping did great too in room cleanliness. Every time we enter the hotel, we were met by smiling faces. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and will definitely come back again. WELL DONE!!!
• Jimmy (10/5): - A hidden gem of a property in downtown Johor Bahru. Extremely convenient location for access to food & shopping. Rooms are clean with running hot shower, and it is large enough to open up a large suitcase on the floor without falling over it.
• Roam27511009480 (6/5): If only.. - Locality wise great with a chinese coffeehouse that operates 24 hours. Not only chinese food, there are other eateries that you may wish to explore too. Walking distance from City Square about 8 to 10mins. Hotel's appearance from outside is small and you may miss it without paying attention. When entered, was greeted warmly by the staff, Bryan who was all at smiles and was proficient in his English that could communicated well. Checked in was hassle free. Upon arrival to our level, sight was pleasant and seemed colonial style but disappointed with the room. Room was small, with furniture peeling off, TV is pretty old model, bed sunken in that leads you backache after sleeping, showering toilet that has poor drainage system - present of water ponding as one showers. AFI: 1.to have hair dryer installed in the bathroom 2. Change furniture (e.g.waredrobe) 3. Change bed If not for the locality and pleasant staff, I doubt i will return again. Bryan asked for feedback and some of them had been given by many guests for some years but nothing had been done. Receive feedback but no actions taken, what's the point then? Not expecting immediate but a gradual change/improvement.

• Jenny (10/5): - This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. The staffs are super friendly and near lots of dinning options around the hotel. The only set back we experience in this stay were noises around the corridor and loud closing of doors from other guests at weeks hours(I.e. 2am to 3am). If u r not a light sleeper like myself there will not be an issue.
