• Jennifer (6/5): It had some issues, overall I really like to stay here, but will probably not stay here next time. - The breakfast was not as good as usual and there were so many people it was hard to get into the food a couple of people were blocking the food n[and having a discussion we could not get to the food and it was empty for awhile anyway, the staff were doing the best they could, she needed more help and a manager needed be there to help with the flow There was a lot of trash on my floor near the elevator., it wasn't removed till it started to smell, the trash cans provided are not big enough for the trash anyway, they are too small, there was vent for the ac that was in need of repair in the hallway, it rattled loudly and was visibly dirty, I like to stay here but I may stay someplace else next visit, I stay in Huntington often for business, the hotel seemed to decline in the past month

• Nichole (1/5): They will leave you stranded at 1230 am - Nothing I got there 1230 in the morning...after calling and speaking with the young lady at the front desk would a late check in be ok...as instructed on the booking website. . She assured the confirmation and late check in was fine. We get there..and we were informed all of a sudden the room was dirty and therefore not available and that was the only room left. She claimed she sent an email...which upon checking she had not. When asked why I wasnt called...she said there was no number provided..which was untrue. Im not sure what games this girl was playing but I wouldn't recommend thus hotel to anyone. Thankfully, it was next door to a lovely Country Inn and Suites. Their room was spacious, clean and quiet. And I saved 80 dollars..so I guess I benefited from the inconveniences of Fairfield Inn The hotel's inability to correctly confirm a room, communicate efficiently, care that they greatly inconvenienced my family at 1230 am.

We are also Marriott Vacation Club owners and have enjoyed all, or most, of all locations we have visited in the last 20 years. This hotel was a lovely location. I realize it was a new facility, but it seems to be designed differently than the older locations. We really enjoyed our room even if it was only for one night.

• teonj2025 (10/5): BEST STAY EVER!!! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Princeton. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The front desk staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, which immediately set the tone for the stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and everything worked exactly as it should, which sounds basic, but too many hotels get this wrong. This one didn’t. The property itself is quiet, safe, and conveniently located, making it an excellent choice whether you’re traveling for work or leisure. Breakfast was well stocked and fresh, and the common areas were clean and inviting. Overall, this Fairfield Inn delivers exactly what you want: consistency, cleanliness, and great service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Princeton area.

• middlelakegirl (6/5): Not impressed - I don’t understand how this Fairfield Inn gets an 8.8 rating. I really expected more from a Marriott property. The bathroom was less than clean with what appear to be “body hair” on the floor and toilet. Got in the shower, no body wash or conditioner, just a rusty holder where the conditioner should have been. Slow sink drain. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and friendly.

We only stayed for one night (thank goodness) and so we don't know if they were actually did anything about the ants in our room or the clogged tub. When I told them upon checkout that we had ants, she said, "you know, someone else told us the same thing, I guess we are going to have to spray." No apology, no true concern. I will not be staying at another Fairfield.

We left before breakfast was served, but the guy preparing breakfast gave us some bananas, muffins and coffee for the road. Super nice of him! A little pricey for the accommodations.But it was clean and comfortable for an over night stay.

It was more expensive but I was hoping for a great experience.The hotel was slightly beat up inside and the furniture was somewhat scuffed. I didn’t care about that but I did care about the green slime in large puddles around and in the pool. They cleaned it when we pointed it out. After that I wanted to cancel our stay for the next weekend because I had booked it on our trip back. The manager said we booked through a third party site so there is nothing she can do. More helpful would be have been to say we should contact the third party website and she would work with them for a satisfactory resolution. She did not. Just said nothing she could do. Also there are signs in the elevator encouraging high reviews and to contact them to resolve any issues. Bottom line, if you think paying extra will get you a better stay, think again.

When we went to the pool there was not just a little but a lot of green slime (mold? algae?) in the 4 foot by 1 foot puddles surrounding the pool and on the bottom of the pool. When I reported it they cleaned it up. I wanted to request a refund & leave at that point but we had my son and were exhausted so I waited to talk to the same manager when we checked out. I showed her the picture of the pool & her eyes got huge. I asked to cancel next weekend’s stay there & I wanted some sort of adjustment of our bill. Brusquely she said since we had booked with Expedia she couldn’t do anything. Period. She could have said we should contact Expedia and she would work with them for a satisfactory resolution and I wouldn’t have left feeling so annoyed. So I contacted Expedia and got next weekend’s reservation canceled and a slight adjustment to our bill plus some Expedia points so Expedia was very helpful. Nice shower in room tho’ cabinets scuffed. Nic breakfast and very friendly person running the breakfast. But if you think paying more will bring you a better experience here you may want to think again.
