Guest Reviews
- Justin (10/5): - We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and we were so impressed with how quiet it was. Beautiful, comfortable, and the little touches like wine in the evening and cookies at bedtime were awesome.
- Penny (10/5): - Room was really comfortable staff very friendly and property very walkable winery a bonus free wine tasting and good wine a trolley took you where you needed to go.
- Maurice (10/5): - Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was very friendly, beds could have been more comfortable (I’m a bed snob) otherwise a great stay, lots to do.
- Phil (10/5): - Beautiful setting with convenient dining, shopping and activities. Great place to visit !
- James (10/5): -
great vacation spot
- Jeff (10/5): - Excellent location. Great staff and great room
- James (10/5): - Great stay and we love The Biltmore. My only complaint was the shower door didn’t seal and the water from the shower would pour out onto the floor. Everything else was great.
- Tony (10/5): - It was well worth the cost.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay.
- Lauren (10/5): - Staff remedied the issue of the wrong type of room assigned. They were courteous and made sure we were comfortable.
Property is very nice.
- Anthony (10/5): - Nice size clean room, well appointed and comfortable located on the grounds of the Biltmore estate. Plenty of good dining options to walk to.
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful, fun and worth it - Well worth the extra expense. The location and convenience besides the loveliness of the grounds, activities and staff exceeded my expectations
- Cynthia (10/5): Nice will stay again. - Although my favortie place to always visit, stayed for the first timenon the grounds. Was disappointed for the amount paid and the room having some outdate and sloppy maintenence to the rooms. I was expecting more perfection and care. Felt like a hilton stay. But, it was beautiful.
- Patricia (10/5): - Beautiful location, amenities and wonderful staff.
- Robert (10/5): - It's the Biltmore, enough said. Convenient to some of the best Blue ridge mountains views, hotels and grounds are amazing and always a pleasure to stay there.
- Rickey (6/5): - Room to small and you could hear people in the other room we enjoyed seeing it but probably won’t be back
- Connie (8/5): - The Biltmore Hotel was a beautiful venue for a room. The property closed the Village at 5 p.m., so it left quite a space for the evening. The food onsite was only average. It was nice to go into town and enjoy Asheville as a whole and eat in town. Overall, if you want a beautiful room and view, choose the Biltmore Hotel. If you want a full experience, night life, etc... you will need to go off property as of Summer 2025.
- Stephen (10/5): - Incredible property, dining options and service. A must-go destination.
- Melissa (10/5): Stay at the Biltmore? Yes - The Estate is a great place to stay.
- Fabia (4/5): - I could not sleep as the we could hear children screaming in the room beside us. Restaurant food is very good but really small portions and slow service. The access to the rooms are long walks. Bike rental was not open until 1 pm in a Saturday…
The Biltmore grounds is gorgeous we loved!
- Kathleen (10/5): - Loved it
- Jeff (10/5): - Very nice ambience. Lots to see and do right there on property.
- Jennifer (10/5): - We have loved our stay on the property.
- Courtney (10/5): Serene - My family really enjoyed staying at Village Hotel. The location is excellent as are the amenities. We will definitely stay here again. If serene walks and nostalgia are your vibe, then this is your place.
- paul (10/5): - I visit whenever I can. I always go after they decorate the House for Christmas. Never had a bad stay. I like room 8455 overlooking the courtyard.
- Leslie (10/5): - Lots of walkable options and great hiking/biking trails right outside hotel
- Phil (8/5): - Great location!!! Great amenities. Food/drink a bit pricey. Service was pretty good. Everyone nice.
- Abby (10/5): Great stay - Friendly staff, clean and big rooms
- Kelly Ann (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful property to stay at. I totally recommend going up to the Inn for a bite to eat at the library lounge and sit outside on the balcony. We had so much fun biking and I got to watch sunset at the Biltmore house! I will be back to stay!!
- Catherine O (10/5): - Excellent facilities! Great food
Wonderful staff
- Donald (10/5): - Great hotel clean great staff.
- Janet (10/5): - Love the hotel, Inn, the grounds and everything. Would like a little variation in food ie. Asian, Italian etc.
- Dawn (10/5): - Everything was amazing, excellent service, comfortable beds, rooms were very comfortable and roomy. So much to do for free when you stay on site, a good value!
- Ashley (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel. The location in the Biltmore Estate was very convenient. We enjoyed being in the center of the Antler Hill Village area, we could walk to many restaurants and shops.
- Keith (10/5): - Pretty hotel on the gorgeous grounds of the Biltmore Estate. Guests get full access to the grounds (not including the interior tour of the estate which is extra). Nice walking and biking paths and convenient dining choices in the hotel and nearby in the Biltmore Village. A++ all around@
- Kellie (10/5): - Stay was great! Thanks
- Charla (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Morgan greeted us at check-in and was very helpful throughout our stay!
- Kristen (10/5): - Located in the village winery with shopping and food. Very relaxing environment.
- Leslie (10/5): - The Village Hotel at the Biltmore Estate offers guests the opportunity to stay on the property for the duration of visiting the winery, museums, village and estate manor. They offer numerous activities including horseback riding, cycling, strolling on the grounds, shopping and listening to music. It’s a world apart from the hustle of 21 Century life. We enjoyed visiting the estate manor but our time between events was so rewarding. The views were exquisite. It is a restored gem.
- Tiffany (2/5): - This
- Jona (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!
- DENISE (10/5): - The Biltmore property is massive. The Village Hotel was clean, comfy and in a great location…walkable to dining, winery and shops. Every employee was super nice, Many dishes were farmed locally and made from scratch. Happy hour wine and cookies were a nice surprise. Do the self guided audio tour of the mansion and save time after to see the garden and shops/restaurants there. 1 full day or 2 days minimum is recommended as I wish we had a 3rd day.
- Teresa H (10/5): Biltmore fun - Staying at the Village allows free access to Biltmore grounds until dust. There are hiking and biking trails available. You and tour the conservatory for free. You can walk around the outside of Biltmore mansion for free. There are several restaurants and shops on the grounds.
- Orbecio (10/5): - Easy check in and check out and good customer service, more red and white wines selection
- yunhua (10/5): - It is located in the center of the village area, with easy access to shops, winery, restaurants, and not far from farm and kid's playground. We also enjoyed our walk from village to the Inn, along which we saw the vineyard and beautiful vies of blue ridge mountains.
Staffs are friendly. Restaurant choices are great. Village Social is a farm to table style. Their food ingredients are extremely fresh. Cocktails are creative. The Bistro is a wonderful French inspired restaurant. We love outdoor seating. A little more casual where you can enjoy summer breeze in the mountain.
Touring Biltmore means a lot of walking. Staying on the estate provided us a comfortable place to take rest among different activities.
- Joanne (6/5): - Average hotel at premium price. Location is great if you are touring The Biltmore but the hotel and restaurant are average. Weather was hot and humid and although room was cool, it was clammy inside the room - even sheets felt damp. Some dust and mold in bathroom and shower floor was very slippery. No mat or bar to hang onto. Breakfast at restaurant was $50 for 2 people. Outlets in nightstands were hard to reach because they were way on back wall inside nightstand. All other outlets were turned sideways (even bathroom) so you couldn’t plug Apple Watch charger except inside nightstand
- Edward (10/5): - Always a nice and quiet getaway. Easy and laid back. Nice dining and shopping options.
- Jenny (10/5): - Peaceful and Clean
- Brian (10/5): - Everything was what I thought it was going be.Polite staff and beautiful hotel.👍
- Sharon (10/5): - Room was spacious, clean, quiet. Staff friendly & helpful. Beautiful hotel & grounds.
- Amy (10/5): - Always love staying on property. Beautiful location and amazing staff.
- Stacy (10/5): - Great location
- Kelly (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Very relaxing. Well worth staying on property
- Dustin (10/5): - Most beautiful place in the United States, I love staying here. It is on a different level than anywhere else.
- Andrew (10/5): - We were very glad we stayed at the Village Hotel as we could drive around the grounds after hours and get oriented to the beautiful estate. The next day we spent the morning in the gardens with the gardens under glass being particularly impressive. The Hotel service was excellent and there good dining alternatives available. We did a one night stay at the end of a road trip.
- patty (10/5): - Would definitely recommend this hotel again as we are already looking at our next trip there
- PATRICIA (10/5): - We loved our stay at Village Hotel! The rooms are clean, the staff treats you like family, the room is cleaned everyday and the hotel is within walking distance to so many activities.
- Tracie (10/5): - Our stay at the Biltimore was very pleasant.
- gregg (10/5): - Everyone on this property was amazing and treated you like family. We will definitely be back.
- Jason (10/5): - Perfect property
- Kathy (6/5): - It was fine, but just a regular hotel. For the price we expected more. Like somewhere to sit, other than on a bed, to watch tv. Like a tv that was a bit larger the the small one on the big wall. How about some robes? A mirror over the desk would be nice so one person can be using the over the sink mirror, and another the over the desk mirror. Just little things that add up to a lot.
- Brittney (10/5): - Staying at the village hotel on biltmore estate is definitely the way to go when visiting overnight. The quality of the hotel is better than the typical Marriott standards and you have unlimited access to the grounds and village. The bed is a bit firm, but overall as expected. I had read that the rooms were loud, but I didn’t hear any noise from my room and I am a very light sleeper. We were in an ideal location, tucked away on a corner on the fourth floor so that might make a difference. I saw the pool and it did look nice, but since there was no hot tub we didn’t bother with it. Being close to the winery was nice and I would have liked to stay another day to experience more of what the Biltmore had to offer. One night is really not enough. The food is pricey so be prepared to spend on that. A continental breakfast would definitely add appeal to the stay. It would be nice if the village social had something like that.
- Racheal (10/5): Loved it! - Beautiful place to stay with all the amenities at your fingertips.
- Dane (10/5): - 100% Awesome
- Nicholas (10/5): - Great as always! Love the farm strolls first thing and full access to the Biltmore that’s includedp
- Stefanie (10/5): - Very
- Thomas (10/5): - Amazing piece of history
- Angela (10/5): - Beautiful property. Room was tasteful, new and spotless. Beds are only doubles or a king, I believe. No queens. Complimentary wine in the afternoon. Nice pool. Restaurants and winery walkable. Flowers abundant. If disabled, there is no valet and must walk stairs to parking lot. One can drive up to the entrance to lead and unload. Lovely stay.
- Susan (10/5): - We love it !
- ANA (10/5): - Will be back very soon!! Lovely!!
- James (8/5): - Wish they had more dining options
- Kristen (6/5): - Nice
- Joycelyn (10/5): Birthday Celebration. - The Village is phenomenal. All the staff goes beyond just rolling out the red carpet. I highly recommend staying at the Village Hotel.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Loved it
- JILL (10/5): - We love to stay at The Village Hotel every year for special occasions or wine club events. We also enjoy the grounds and museum exhibits. Thank you for making our stay so nice and leisure.
- BLAKE (8/5): Needs detailed touch. - Lots of hair around the base of the toilet when I got to the room was very offsetting. Water pressure was poor. Shower leaked everywhere.
- Marianne (10/5): - Beautiful area. Rooms clean for the most part but the throw pillows with the
- Peggy (8/5): - Although our room was very small, the grounds are beautiful and the staff was very friendly.
- Julie (10/5): - This is a lovely hotel! The room was large, clean & well appointed. I would highly recommend this place for Biltmore visitors. It’s close to downtown where we ate. The staff was also welcoming & helpful.
- toni (10/5): - Convenient location when visiting the Biltmore House
- Robert (10/5): - Beautiful and very relaxing destination with great historical environment. Guest services very accommodating and restaurant and shopping choices galore.
- Brian (10/5): - It was magical being on the grounds of the estate. We loved the dining options and we went to the Biltmore gardens to see the tulips in full splendor!
- Gerald (10/5): - Awesome Place to stay.
- Lavonne (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and easy access to everything Biltmore
- Svetlana (10/5): - Thank you.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Had a great day at and look forward to coming back and staying longer
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best Place to stay in Ashville - Very nice, as expected
- Phillip (10/5): - Beautiful property, awesome location!
- Hemant (10/5): - Nice spacious room, comfortable stay.
The lobby was inviting.
Severa different dining options weee available close by on the estate.
Plenty of parking for hotel guests.
Winery was within walking distance, and wine tasting was an added attraction!
- Pamela (8/5): - Very nice property, comfortable and pleasant.
Disappointed that some of the areas around the hotel were closed. What was open was very nice. We enjoyed our stay!
- Kristin S (6/5): Just Meh - We were hopeful this hotel would be nice given it’s on the Biltmore property. Sadly, we were wrong. We asked at check in if we could request a “room with a view” to which the woman said “Great news. You’re getting the last one.” Spoiler: Our room did NOT have a view. It was literally of the parking lot and the view couldn’t get much worse (see photo). The room itself was awkwardly shaped, and the bathroom configuration was quite possibly the strangest I’ve seen. The worst part of the experience was definitely the horribly uncomfortable bed and crappy pillows that caused us to toss and turn all night. Next time we will spend the extra money and stay at The Inn again.
- Gary (8/5): - We visited Biltmore 3 times before this visit. Each time we asked ourselves if it would be worthwhile staying at Biltmore. This was the 1st time staying on the property and it was worth it. It made our trip so much easier.
- Sarith (6/5): - The rooms were very dirty
- Blake (10/5): - Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Very comfortable hotel and conveniently located on property
- Jennifer (10/5): Loved it! - Lovely location in Biltmore Village! Cozy bar and restaurant on premises with delicious food and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. We loved it!
- Ralph (10/5): - Easy access to shopping, dining in the Antler Hill village area. Folks were incredibly helpful for having recently gone through TS Helene. Only one week after reopening, it was still very quiet here and felt a bit surreal.
Even if the situation and Asheville area wasn’t at its “best”, I certainly found Biltmore staff and services to going above and beyond to make it the best experience! Thank you for all the hospitality!
- Brenda (10/5): - The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff could not be more helpful and appreciative. The room was clean and very large in a great location close to the restaurants and the winery shop.
- Kimberly (10/5): Best Stay Ever! - It was Amazing! Everyone was very friendly and everything was clean. The food was delicious and we loved the variety of food offerings and locations. The Best part was Antler village was right outside the door.
- Natalie B (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Biltmore. With the room you can enjoy all of the grounds of the estate (with the exception of the house). We really enjoyed the Chihuly display (paid extra for that) and the wine tasting. The coffee shop downstairs had a variety of things to fill our picnic basket (spreads and crackers, olives and wine, etc.) and the weather was perfect! Couldn’t ask for a more romantic picnic perched on the grassy hill overlooking the mansion.
- Kimberly (10/5): - We really enjoyed our time there and meeting the people that worked on the property of The Village Hotel. We were there for two nights and left exactly one week before hurricane Helene hit the area. I have thought non stop of the people we met. The blacksmith, the broom maker, our waitress Leigh and the sous chef Kevin. I pray they are all okay. Biltmore is a special place because of their people. The Village Hotel is no exception, the staff is amazing. We will be back.
