- Jessica (10/5): A quiet comfortable stay - This was my first stay in 2 years. The difference in the stay this time was shocking! I didn’t smell cigarettes, the floors and walls felt fresh. A complete overhaul had to of taken place. The breakfast was amazing. Love the waffles. 10/10 I have no complaints.

- Uwe A.-T. (8/5): Gediegenes Motel mit angeschlossenem Bistro für den Abend. - Schönes großes Zimmer, breite Betten, im angeschlossenen Bistro konnte man gut zu Abend essen. Verkehrsgünstige Lage. Empfehlung! Auf den Tag genau zwei Monate nach der Bezahlung mit Karte, wurde der Betrag noch einmal auf meiner Karte belastet. Zwei Tage später wurde die Belastung dann wieder zurück überwiesen. Breakfast was less robust than our first visit a month ago - probably due to fewer guests. But choices were still comparable to other continental breakfasts - fruit, pastries, make-your-own-fresh-waffles, one hot entrée.

- Susanne (8/5): Will certainly stay at Ivey's on our next trip North! - We were traveling and Ivey's is very close to border crossing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and provided all we needed and all on one floor. Interior hallway so no need to go outdoors to reach breakfast room. Restaurant was reached by interior corridor as well and food was good. The toilet is too low for the 65+ population. I had difficulty standing and my husband is disabled and I had to lift him up. Our return stay we booked handicapped room and it was fine.

- Robin (9/5): Great place to stay if in Houlton! - Property was a little dated but had great charm. Both front desk clerks, Sam and Cat, were very friendly & helpful. On site bistro w/full bar was a plus! Husband had burger and said it was very good. Guests are even provided a 15% discount card to use in bistro. Proximity to Canada is within 5 miles. Nothing glaring to point out.
- Christian (10/5): Easy on and off 95. - Very spacious room with all amenities. People were nice and the restaurant adjacent to it was surprisingly good and served a great cheeseburger and fries. The waitress was also excellent! Good free breakfast and real coffee.
- Mary (10/5): - Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast but the room was quiet and water was hot. Ivy's Bistro on site was good. Close to where we needed to be. Older motel and nothing fancy but the price was right. I would stay there again if in Houlton.

- Matthew (10/5): An excellent, safe, clean, comfortable motel in Houlton, ME! - Excellent Motel. We did a road trip of New England and decided to take a dip into Canada for a few days. We picked Ivey's and Houlton, ME because of the proximity to the border crossing which we figured we would probably hit in the evening coming back into the USA. The location is really close to the border and exactly what we expected. Is it super super modern? No. But is it clean, comfortable and everything we hoped for and expected? Yes! It's a great motel with a great restaurant and bar on site. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely superb too, a real bonus. Waffles/Biscuits & Gravy/Yoghurts/Cereal. The staff were friendly both on check-in and in the bar. We felt like the bar closed maybe a little early (9pm from memory) but it was only us and two other people in there, so totally understandable and maybe it was just us wanting to keep enjoying being in there! The food was great too. Great, ample, safe parking. The place has a real charm to it and we would recommend it to people and would definitely stay ourselves again if we were in the area.

I wish I knew his name. He cleaned a room for us, at 10:00 o' clock at night!!! This place is amazing!! Everything was perfect!!

- Angela (8/5): highly recommend for an overnight stay before crossing the border - super accommodating - I goofed on the date of our stay, and they immediately processed the cancellation and I was able to rebook - the person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly. And a bonus was the pub attached, which had a really tasty burger!
