The people managing the restaurant, front desk and room service were all very professional and great to interact with. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. Great food - we had some custom dietary requirements in our party, and the restaurant handled things perfectly.
- Goswami (7/5): Our first memorable experience in Pelling. - The view of Kanchenjunga Mountain, the decor, the movie theatre, the smiling staff. We enjoyed playing Carroms with their staff in the activity room which was a bonus. We also enjoyed chatting on history of a celebrity connected to this property while drinking Beer in the Bar. The original room (3004) had a sewer smell which a couple of staffs refused to acknowledge. Fortunately, one of them found the solution and blocked the drain and the smell stopped. Next morning they moved us to room 3001 which was in a great shape. This change was addressed by Anirban, the food and beverage Manager. He was very accommodating. There are of stairs to climb up or down to reach from point A to point B. Please consider ramps to help the senior citizens. There needs to be more signage for navigation across this beautiful property. The bakery items in breakfast buffet e.g. Croissants: Danishes were cold and located far from the toaster. Those tastes better when they are warm (Suggestion). The car supplier name is not Nirmala rather Chumki. Nirmala does not work in the travel company for a year now. Please update your information.

There should have been some warnings about Earthquakes and that the region was declared red zone. We experienced multiple tremors of which one was pretty bad. Also there were frequent power outages.

- Vasudeva Rao (10/5): Excellent stay and great memories from the stay at property - Location, friendly and ever supportive staff - Shakir in front desk, Suchona, Rosy and Sabita at the Spa, Sisir in the restaurant. This was our first visit to Pelling and this property and it has amazing views of Kanchenjunga. There is a mini theatre in the property. There is no lift so you end up climbing a few stairs, not elderly friendly. Property does not keep essential emergency medicines at the front desk and hence you need to carry for any emergency.
- Saket (10/5): - We booked the suite, and it was a very beautiful and comfortable room. The entire resort is thoughtfully designed and aesthetically pleasing. The food was absolutely delicious. During our stay, my child fell sick, and we were quite worried since Pelling is a small place. However, the hotel staff provided exceptional support. They arranged a chauffeur and a car to take us to the pharmacy, completely free of cost. I was truly amazed by their care, support, and outstanding hospitality.

The room given had very good view. The best thing about the hotel is its location and view that it offers plus the staff . Particularly impressed with Mr Ashish who made sure that food was taken care of pretty well. The room furnishings are of very average quality not commensurate with the amount charged. The wooden flooring and beds do make creaking sound in the night requiring some chages. The hot water supply system leaves much to desire as it takes very long time to reach the bathroom.
- rishikesh (8/5): The Moutains Performing at Chumbi Resort Theatre PellingSikkim - Chumbi resort location is such that from our room 1009 lying down in the bed you could see the 1st rays of son faliing on the mighty Kanchenjhonga the 3rd tallest mountain in the world. Surrounding natural beauty is at its best from Chumbi Resort. Ambience,Staff, Room quality, food and overall service was exceptional and would ask nature lovers to opt for this one and not in the cluster of hotels in Pelling Bazaar area. Simply superb.
