• Angel (10/5): - El lugar es muy bonito, rústico pero de la mejor manera posible, las habitaciones muy limpias, la comida que tienen en su restaurante es muy buena y con todos los alimentos frescos. Si tienen niños y tienen la oportunidad de desayunar ahi y piden la opción de hot-cakes prueben la mermelada casera. Pero lo mejor del lugar es la atención que dan los mismos dueños del hotel junto con todo el persona, la verdad personas muy amables y serviciales.l

Todo está muy limpio y se ve que dedican mucho tiempo y amor a mantenerlo así. Lo único que podrían mejorar son las cortinas. Tienen unas que se ven muy bonitas, pero no son tan prácticas porque dejan pasar más luz de la que deberían. Fuera de eso el lugar es perfecto.
• John (9/5): I would happily stay there again. - The property was beautiful with lots of artistic touches. The staff and management were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little overwhelmed by the size of the breakfast crowd so service was noticeably slow. Returned the next day to a much smaller crowd and both service and food quality was exceptional.

• Andrea (9/5): Very nice stay, will come again! - The staff was very friendly - especially the "Mama" :) The location is very beautiful, it felt like a casa in Italy and it was very lovely decorated. The location is great as well, in 10min on foot you are on the main square. One of the listed benefits were a taxi to the airport. So we ordered a taxi to the Tuxtla airport. But actually only ordering the taxi was included so we had to pay for it. I think to avoid further misunderstandings it'd be better to remove this entry since it's not really a benefit per se.

The hotel is very clean, with a nice heated pool (the weather was too cold for us, so we did not use it, but some other guests enjoyed it) and a lovely green courtyard. We stayed here only one night and could have easily spent more time here. The only small thing that took away from our great feeling was the figure of probably the female owner who kept walking through the grounds with a frowny face, sometimes giving emphatic orders to employees.

• Paula (10/5): A perfect stay in a wonderful city! - Casa de Mama felt like home way from home. The property is lovely and immaculate and run extremely professionally, but with a family feel. Having the restaurant open for breakfast and lunch was very convenient and the service (Raúl) and food was excellent. Centro was just a few blocks away. We loved our stay and hope to return.

De eigenaresse is verschrikkelijk: als we haar wijzen op het feit dat we volgens de voorwaarden een ontbijt willen kopen voor 150 pesos begint ze opeens vanuit het niets arrogant te doen en zegt ze: "ik ben de eigenaar en ik doe dit niet". Blijf weg van booking.com als je je eigen voorwaarden niet respecteert. Het gedoe met de parking, vrij onnozel om iedere dag opnieuw te moeten gaan betalen terwijl het 2 blokken verderop ligt.

La beauté, l’emplacement très central, le rapport qualité prix, la piscine chauffée (clairement un plus pour nos enfants). Je recommande sans hésiter cet hôtel! Le service de laverie est un plus mais est très cher par rapport à nos autres expériences. Je vous recommande d’aller dans la laverie dans la rue qui vous offrira le même service et pour moitié prix.

• Virginia (1/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfy the garden is nice The front desk was not helpful at all. I booked the suite with the hot tub bath and there was no hot water. I asked at the front desk and they were reluctant to help me. Once they looked at it they said it would be fixed in 20 mins and it still didnt work I went to sleep. As it was late. Still no hot water in the morning. And no filters provided for the coffee machine in the room again I asked and this was met with confusion and then a no we don't have any. Waste of money to pay extra for a bath you can not use and why provide a coffee machine in the room if it cannot be used?.

• Benoit (9/5): Un cadre charmant et confortable - L'emplacement est parfait, tout proche du centre-ville, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied. Le personnel est d' une grande gentillesse. L'établissement est très propre et bien entretenu, avec un joli cadre et un jardin soigné qui apporte beaucoup de charme. Mention spéciale pour la literie, particulièrement confortable. Un petit bémol, le bruit des personnes dans la piscine audible depuis la chambre lorsque l'on souhaitait de reposer, mais cela n'a rien gâché la qualité du séjour.

Personnel was not prepared to answer even to the easiest of the request. The place was quite close to the center but not really that close (not nice walk to get to the center). The swimming pool was ok event if rally small, but was also used for training and lessons of kids outside the hotel therefore sometimes busy. Breakfast was not good at all, not included in the hotel and really bad (we went out having breakfast from the second day afterwards). Many rooms without view and with no natural light (we changed more than one and they gave us a room with natural light only at the third request). Bathrooms not working properly several times. Shower also.

Goed bed en goed onderhouden. Leuke binnentuin en goed verwarmd zwembad. Heel vriendelijke receptionist. Eigenlijk niets, alleen het ontbijt was zeer basic, niet flexibel en dan nog duur. Je vindt in de stad veel betere, modernere, lekkerdere en goedkopere opties.
• Frances (6/5): Noisy place - I was really looking forward to staying here, after looking at the pictures. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The location was good, the courtyard setting was beautiful and the room was nice but the noise really spoiled our stay. We paid extra for a bigger room but it was directly next to the pool meaning that we had constant noise from the pool filter and people in the pool. The rooms are all based around the courtyard which means noise all day and night. There was constant noise with people in the pool after hours, sat in the courtyard talking loudly and I was even woken up at 3am by staff talking in the courtyard. It's a beautiful setting but, if you value your sleep, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

La verdad muy agusto 👌 Yo me volvería a hospedar ahí ! Todo muy limpio, el agua caliente siempre, mi hijo amo el lugar.. el hotel cuenta con su restaurante que desde muy temprano tienen el servicio de desayuno listo para que te vayas a los tours bien desayunado si tú así lo deseas, . Es realmente como estar en casa de mama ! Tienen Internet y el lugar es tal cual se describe. San cristobal es muy bonito Hay muchas campanadas de las iglesias todos los días, muy temprano. Pero es parte del ambiente del lugar en general (ya que es un pueblo muy católico). Pero en general el lugar está muy acogedor.
