Bit short of staff sometimes, especially at pool bar and housekeeping during busy times. Not far to main part of Naiyang beach and could always get 100 baht Tutut. Road that hotel is in is next to large building site and the street is bit run down.
- keithsR1834GH (10/5): For the young at heart - As a couple in our seventies and not seasoned travelers this for me was a fantastic hotel. The staff as always are friendly and helpful but it’s the small things that make a difference to me. The bottles of shampoo and shower gel are clearly marked,my wife didn’t have to intervene and stop me putting conditioner on myhair. The light switches are easy to find. The shower was easy to use. The safe was easy to use. This is the first hotel I’ve been in when my wife didn’t moan at me. So for you old people who struggle with dodgy eyesight this is the place for you.
- harrywood1245 (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - I am leaving a 1 star review on this hotel due to the maid (cleaner) stealing money from my room. Please everyone be aware and make sure everything is locked away as hiding your money isn’t enough in this hotel. I strongly advise you put the do not disturb sign on your door and don’t allow access for anyone to enter your room. I have reported to the police and awaiting outcome to find out if they can help.

Firstly, great location accessible to beach at walking distance, aiport and grocery. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and interestingly having bathtub makes me go there too cos i like soaking in hot water before i going to sleep.
- HowardC888888 (4/5): Good and Bad - We booked this hotel for an overnight transfer and had a disappointing experience. We had pre-booked and paid for an airport pickup, but no one showed up when we arrived. We did not have any Internet or Calls access and were left stranded. By accident one of the ladies at the airport flagged another representative down to message the hotel. We waited for almost 40 minutes in total after arriving at 9pm. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no apology but we were just too tired from the long flight to complain. The manager appeared flustered, making mistake after mistake. To top this off, we were given a room with two single beds even though we had requested a double. The room was located at the very end of the hallway, and there reason was because they were fully booked which we highly doubted as there was hardly anyone at breakfast and everyone knows this was low season for Thailand. The room itself was very clean and the value was good for money although the location was isolated. The breakfast was also decent for the price.

- sam (8/5): Phuket Proud - Friendly helpful staff . Room nit ready but we had arrived much earlier than check in time. Fantastic on site Tea room type place thats serves everthing . Very yummy . Great massage place just across the road . By the time we did all check in time . Room with pool access on 2nd floor great to just have a cool off or swim . Market close by and airport a short drive . Stayed there for the night prior to flight . Would stay again and next time longer to explore area . Hotel organised Taxi for 260 baht and as early flight provided breakfast box . Thoroughly recommend .
- T260309 (10/5): Great short stay at Proud! - Was meant to be a four night stay but we had a change of plan so had to check out after two, however the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly on arrival especially the guy behind reception! Room very comfy, and had most of the amenities expected. Didn't use the pool however it looked inviting. Location great and not far from the beach.

- tst_travel_eats (6/5): No sheltered walkway, stinky pillows and fraying towels - Lovely place. Staff was super friendly. But the designers for this hotel did not take into consideration during rainy season there's actually no proper sheltered walkway to your rooms and to the car park. We had to walk in the rain with our luggages to the reception when we checked out. And then again from the hotel lobby to the car park. No shelter. Yes, even though an umbrella was provided, but it still did not kept our stuff and ourselves dry. And whilst the room was clean and had a nice smell, the decorative pillows that were placed on our sleeping pillows had a damp smell to it, and as such we could not use the pillow that it was leaning on as it stank. Housekeeping should be aware of this. Another thing for housekeeping to take note is that the towels given was fraying at the edges. Not very nice for a first impression.
- widasatrijo (10/5): Perfect hotel just walking distance to the beach - Hotel was excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and the size enough for 2 pax. We can sit in the balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful garden they have. Breakfast also good. For me the location of this hotel is perfect. We can walk to the beach less than 10 mnt. Also surrounded by restaurants and café, gelato bar , massages and mini markets. For you who likes seafood , there are lots of restaurants within less than 1 km. Definitely will come back in the future.

- 295suzettes (2/5): Don’t Book, it’s false advertising - Terrible, nothing like the pictures. Only 10 sunbeds and 1000+ guests, two tables and 8 chairs. Pictures of nice rooftop bar which has been closed years, yet still show the pictures. No where to sit and relax, pool bar that shuts at 7pm nowhere else in hotel open. Check in took ages and rooms with awful view and lots of mosquitoes. It’s our last night which is a huge disappointment!!!

Near to a non touristy beach inside a protected area. Only a km or so from the airport and has a shuttle to the airport during the day.. Great small hotel with lovely staff.

It was the best experience of thai massage i have tried. She really knows her stuff. She is super kind and friendly. I recommend try the massaging here. (I did the oil massage)
- alex4777 (6/5): Good hotel, but very noisy - We stayed last year and everything was perfect. This year during daytime (disco) music at the pool is very loud al day. It starts at 10am already. Deposit policy has changed. Now you have to deposit €100 (or equivalent) in cash only. On the room a price list for any damage to room or items. (They must have had some bad experiences). Staf is attentive super polite as always and breakfast buffet is superb as is the (superior) room.

- Tapio (8/5): - Breakfast was sufficient, nice variety of local delicacies. Inner courtyard/poolside has trees, so if you are looking to sunbathe maybe hit the beaches. Room had few ants and shower/bathtub faucets were a bit funky and loose. Strong recommendation for the second floor poolaccess: truly private pool with no access for others.
- Chiaki (4/5): - The hotel refused to issue a receipt of the room charge even I paid to the hotel, as they said my booking was made via Expedia and they had to pay you commission. The receipt should be issued to the payer from the payee. Also they charged us mini bar consumption even I did not consumed anything. Very bad end of the stay. Will not come back.
- Keith (4/5): - I do not recommend this property if you are flying halfway around the road to see Phuket. There are beautiful resorts that are worth staying in. This one will take away from your valuable trip that you have planned for. The property is dirty, the staff were not representative of the kindness of Thailand that I was used to. The area around the property is filthy and smells like urine and filth, and the beach has trash all over it. I would recommend my research before settling in on this property. The pictures are not representative of what you will see when you arrive here. Read other reviews and other people have said the same thing that the pictures are very, very misleading.

Super location near the airport and the Nai Yang beach.. if you like running, each morning there's a whole community of people taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Very family friendly area as well, and the night market right in the backyard was a huge bonus. Massage options right opposite the hotel (Dhara massage) were fantastic as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice chill vacation.. the only disadvantage might be that it's far from Phuket old town, and if that's important to you then probably best to pick a place closer to it.

- Tracy (6/5): - The property was very nice. We had lots of mosquitoes in the room when we arrived. The front desk staff couldn’t communicate very well. Also charged us 250 BHT to get a ride “taxi” in the hotel van to the airport when we purchased a Superior room.
- Philip (10/5): - Excellent place to stay, convenient for airport, 5-10 minutes drive. Also well located for Nai Yang beach which is beautiful, and numerous dining options around there. We.had pool access room, well worth the little extra if you like a swim.

- Stephen (10/5): Great overnight stay prior to flight. - We were surprised with this hotel. The reviews seemed like the hotel could be poor, however the room was spotless, mattress comfortable, hot water was consistently hot and air conditioning worked perfectly. There's a few eateries nearby as well. Our only minor complaint is the breakfast (450THB per person) was very expensive when considering the range of food provided. We had a look at the food and couldn't justify the cost. We ended up eating at the airport for 2/3 the price the hotel tried to charge. This place was a perfect overnight stay prior to an early flight. Would recommend. A Grab to the airport was 330 THB and took us 10 minutes.

It was so relaxing, so beautiful, honestly enchanting to walk through the garden and pool area. it really truly refreshed me, because we had come from Patong Beach and i hated it there. I was desperate for peace, relaxation, quiet, and luxury, which Proud Phuket lavished upon me. Staff were friendly, even if their English was a bit lacking. The breakfast buffet, however, was TOP NOTCH! the food was so good, the coffee was excellent! I would absolutely stay here again and could not recommend it enough!

My only complaint was that I paid for a poolside room with balcony but was told they were full when I arrived. The staff did transfer me to a room with a poolside view.

- Theresa E (10/5): - Personal opinion, this part of Phuket is worth going to - skip the south end of the island which is a bit trashy. Proud Phuket Hotel is nice and quiet and located within walking distance to the beach. The grounds are classy and has lush vegetation all over the property. You wont have any loud partiers or unruly people floating around. I loved the tranquility.
- Joanne (10/5): Great location for airport! - We only stayed 1 night we arrived from Samui 8pm and was flying home next morning. Taxi took about 5 minutes to get to hotel. I saw on a review someone bothered about airplane noise!!! What do you expect booking next to airport. Anyway it never bothered us was lovely room easy check in and we went down at 6.50 am and they called us a taxi which arrived within a couple of minutes 300thb to airport . Absolutely perfect for what we needed.

- Verified traveler (2/5): THIS HOTEL STOLE FROM US - First of all, the hotel was the most disgusting, unkept hotel I have ever stayed in. There were huge bugs everywhere, mold in the rooms, the bed was broken, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The minute we arrived we felt unsafe and unclean and knew we couldn't stay there. I contacted the hotel manager and said that we would be happy to pay for the first night but that the place was very dirty and we could not stay there for the entire booking and would be checking out the next day. They contacted their manager for approval and confirmed that they would reimburse us for the stay 100% . The next day we checked out into a MUUUUUCH better, cleaner, and safer hotel. However now, nearly two months later, the hotel has not refunded us even though we only stayed one night and they agreed to give our money back. They are not being responsive and have stolen our money. This hotel should be shut down !!!

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bed is super hard, we got there early and the Staff were fab although we couldn’t check in until 2. They said we could use the pool but we wanted to have a drink and some food so we went next door to the tea room. The tea room is fab food fab and service great. We checked in for 3 a little later and we were sent to our room and told the bags would come shortly. Still waiting 45 mins later we went down to get them.. there is a shuttle to the beach and when you are ready you can call them to collect you. We decided to walk and explore. There is a fabulous temple just down the road and a good choice of bars. The rooftop bar isn’t open I’m this hotel and tbh the evening staff weren’t half as nice. There is a great little pizza place across the road from the hotel with great wine and super friendly service I would go there. Again the bed is so hard I didn’t sleep at all

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room is spacious with comfy bed and very good AC! The location of the hotel is good; very close to the airport, beach, national park and lots of restaurants. There’s a 7/11 2 mins away. Across the street there are a few massage places, a bike rental shop, a souvenir shops and a cafe. The hotel provides bikes for rent free of charge. Breakfast at its restaurant is 300BTH. The pool is open until 7 pm. There is a gym but I didn’t check it out. When I first checked in, I was given a room that wasn’t cleaned from the prior guest. I went back to the lobby and they gave me another room. They also gave me a fruit basket to compensate for their error. I had a room on a higher ground and between 7-11 pm it was very noisy to be in the room. There was loud music coming from somewhere (couldn’t figure it out). One thing I didn’t like was that they wouldn’t let me check out a minute after 12pm even though I requested it when I booked. I just needed the room until 1 or 2pm, so I stayed at the outdoor lobby until I had to leave. After reading the previous reviews, I decided to take a taxi not from the hotel to the airport which only costs 200BTH. Also, ask them for your 1000BTH deposit when checking out.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Upon arrival there was a huge bug on the bed but I ignored it, one bug isn’t a big deal. We leave and explore the area to come back the bed and floor covered in ants. The cleaning crew comes in and changes the sheets and sprays raid everywhere but there were still dead ants all over the floor. We called front desk to request a new room and they accommodated us with no problem. The tub had stains, shower and bathroom has no door but a dingy shower curtain... I stayed in Karon for half the price and it was way nice and cleaner. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this area, naiyang beach is incredibly dirty. Stay in karon or kata!!!

- Hanna (10/5): Proud Phuket can be proud - Loved Proud Phuket! An oasis close to the airport for my two last days of relaxing in Phuket. Ang Ku restaurant was also a treat with Thai and western food, breakfast, cakes, drinks... and and..open all day long. Hotel personnel was clearly happy and dedicated... service including the room cleanliness was impeccable. Thank you!

Fabulous local market happening right next to it. Like a fair without the rides. So many delicious things to try. The huge cone thing was so yummy I had to get 2 more. Buttery with some sweet I can’t determine. Smelled so good. I kept telling my husband we need to get one of those. Best pick. I could have eaten 5 more. So overall we were very happy with the hotel. Breakfast provided. Limited but good.
