• Julian (10/5): - Very clean, staff were friendly and the air conditioning made the room very comfortable.
• Shigetsugu (6/5): - メコン川沿いに近いので食事には便利。夜は賑やかです。ホテルのスタッフは人によって違う。女性スタッフで英語も通じて笑顔で親切な人はいました。夜中になると玄関のドアがロックされます。ロビーのソファーでスタッフが寝ているので起きてもらって開場してもらいました。
• KEIMEI (8/5): - メコン川に歩いて行け、また周辺にお店も多数あり、朝の散歩でお寺を回るにも都合のよい場所でした。朝食でコーヒーが品切れだったのが残念。

• John (6/5): - Easy access to the tourist area around the night market on the Mekong Riverfront. The building and rooms are adequate, but old and worn. Hotel management is doing both front desk work and cooking/serving food in the adjacent cafe. The atmosphere and feel of the hotel are a bit dark, gloomy, and seedy. Train and bus tickets onward to Bangkok are listed in Thai Baht. You will pay more in any other currency. Front desk staff will assist, but only do the minimal necessary. Not very patient , positive, or responsive to ongoing questions. Seem unmotivated, although will respond. Maybe my own patience is wearing thin, but I just didn’t feel very positive about being here.

• Peter (2/5): Worst hotel in Vientiane - The worst hotel I stayed at in Vientiane. Molds in room, you can feel the springs on the old bed, no look in rooms.
• Norikazu (6/5): - 古いホテルのようですが値段から考えれば良いと言う考え方も出来るかもしれません。 実際に海外の方々は多数宿泊されていました。 エレベーターがないので荷物の少ない方向けかもしれません。 アメニティ等も設置は最低限ですが、近くにお店がたくさんありますので足りないものは直ぐに買い足せます。 高くて質の悪いホテルよりもはるかに好感が持てました。 スタッフの方々の対応は良かったです。
• Verified traveler (8/5): nicht schön, aber okay - auf den ersten Blick ist das Zimmer nicht einladend und etwas heruntergekommen, aber alles war trotzdem sauber und hat funktioniert. Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit, Cafe-Restaurant im Hotel in Ordnung und wurde sogar von außerhalb besucht.

• Patrick (4/5): - They rented the room that I made reservations for. I paid 16 dollars for the room. They let me stay in the room for 4 hours after a person checked out. THE Air conditioning sucks. At least they gave me breakfast.

• Verified traveler (6/5): 合格点 - 朝食 ３日宿泊して３日とも朝食付きを予約したがまずかった。コーヒーは普通。 あと朝食ではないがコーヒーはおしゃれなカフェに比べるとかなりリーズナブルでおすすめ。 Wi-Fi 特段速くくなかったが普通に不便なく使えた。その後２箇所で宿泊したがネットはミコクインが一番ましでした。 シャワー シャワーは使いづらかった。トイレを挟んで洗面所とシャワーがある構造だったけど、シャワーの方に石鹸を置く場所がなかったような、それで洗面所に置いていたんだけど間にトイレがあるから使いづらい。 あとシャワーの高さがえらく低く、調節できなかったと思った。だからしゃがんで浴びてました。 また１度シャワー中に停電になって何も見えなくなりました。ほかにも滞在中もう１度停電になっていたので電気周りは弱そうです。 立地 かなりいいと思います。 空港でタクシー乗り場でもホテル名が通じたし、前の道路挟んでトゥクトゥク？が何台かいるし、歩いてすぐにミニコンビニもあります。リバーサイドも徒歩で行けるしタラートサオ にも歩いて行ける距離です。すぐ近くの薬局では両替もできます。 総評 はじめは微妙な宿だと思いましたが後に止まった２箇所と比較すると一番マシでした。なによりネットが安定していたのが大きいです。

• Nobuya (4/5): 1 - シングルは、3, 4 階にしかないとの事。急な階段を上って4階迄上がった。スーツケースがあるので難儀しました。前日までは、空港送迎が6ドルだったのに、直前では、60,000. キープ、レートの良い方を取られた。また、信用ならないドライバーを雇った。正面のレンタルバイクを経営しているドライバーで、正面に客が来たら、送迎の車放ったらかし、トゥクトゥクに乗って空港に行った
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Mixok Inn is a simple place for just sleep. The location is convenient and close to most sites. Unfortunately, with the cheap price you pay, can't expect much in terms of amenities. They only provide towel, toilet paper and a small bar of soap. No free bottles of water but you can buy it at the cafe downstairs or a shop nearby.
• Laura (8/5): Smelly bathroom - We had to change rooms because our first one had a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. The staff was nice and got a new room ready for us which also had the same smell but not a strong. They sprayed to cover it up which helped for a day and each day we asked them to spray again. After exploring Vientiane it seems there may have been a sewage problem because we smelled the same oder near storm drains and other water sources. Otherwise nice place and cozy bed.
• Tung (8/5): Centrally located hotel - Back here again, a few days ago, good value for money hotel, even a poor BF ( in term of included BF, not free BF) centrally situated, close to all tourist attractions in Vientiane. Room cleaning only when requested, day staff friendly, helpful and fluent in English
• Tung (8/5): Centrally located hotel - Centrally located, just right the busy intersection in downtown where the airport shuttle drops you off at, close to shopping and restaurant areas,walking distance to tourist attractions and bus terminal . Dayshift staff nice, friendly and helpful, so so BF and water pressures were so slow...

• Nuno (6/5): Ok for a short stay;too noisy for good night sleep - The hotel is located in a central street in downtown Vientiane, and has a stop from the airport shuttle bus less than 5 min away. My room was on the 4th floor but the windows frame were of poor quality and this made the room very noisy (even in the 4th floor). I booked a single room, not sure if double are bigger, but the room was small, but still with sufficient space to store your luggage. The bathroom was functional and clean. I had breakfast included: we could chose for 4 or 5 options, all of them very simple, but sufficient.

• Sandra (8/5): Bonne adresse - Accueil plutôt sympathique malgré notre arrivée tardive (21h30). Chambre propre, bonne literie, ventilateur et A/C ok! Salle de bain propre également, avec eau chaude; seul bémol : la douche manquait un peu de pression en fin de journée! Petit déjeuner simple mais très correct (oeuf, pain avec beurre et confiture, banane, café). Personnel très agréable et disponible pour réservation de bus et renseignements! Le restaurant est également bon, avec un rapport/qualité prix correct! Je recommande cet hôtel

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very good location and price but bad wifi - Location of this hotel is great, right at the same street as Presidential Palace and plenty, restaurants around and short walk to riverbank with night market. I had single room for approx. 550Thb and the room was clean, had a/c as well as fan, TV, towel and hand soap. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but included in already low price. The only two cons were 1) bad wifi in room, slightly better in lobby and restaurant 2) low pressure of water in bathroom. I would definitely stay again here for the same price.

W nocy za oknem halasuje wentylator, ktory sie okresowo wlacza i wylacza.W hotelu brak windy i walizki trzeba wnosic po waskich schodach. Hotel jest zlokalizowany w bardzo dobrej okolicy.W cene jest wliczone sniadanie ( wybiera sie jedna z kilku pozycji ).Lozka sa bardzo twarde , ale dzieki temu wygodne. Mysle ze stosunek jakosci do ceny jest dobry.
• Annick (10/5): Excellent séjour à Vientiane de 2 jours. - Très bon hôtel même si c est un peu bruyant avec la circulation. Petit déjeuner correct et anticipé pour départ matinal. Restaurant correct également. Emplacement idéal pour visiter vieille ville.
• Patcha (6/5): cheap price that be accepted - locate near the road, very noisy from the car until late night. The shower head was broken before i check-in, after requested for fixing, nothing change until i check out.
• DAISUKE (6/5): ビエンチャン観光には悪くありません。 - ビエンチャン観光のために宿泊しました。 ２泊したのですが、初日は予約したタイプの部屋がなかったのか、やけに大きな部屋に案内されました。次の日に別の部屋に移動する前提です。少し予約の管理が雑なようです。 また、設備も鍵が上手く閉まらなかったり、水が最初出てこなかったりしましたが、フロントに言えばすぐに対応してくれました。ですので、感じは悪くなかったです。お湯もちゃんと出ました。そしてロケーションは観光面から考えた場合、悪くなかったです。自転車やバイクのレンタルも、すぐ前のお店でできます。 値段相応で、多少の不便はありますが、選択肢としてはおすすめできます。
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The Mixok Inn is certainly adequate for those doing a Visa run or for a short stay. The staff is friendly and as helpful as possible. The Inn is quite dated and certainly needs a face-lift. The location is very good and pretty central. I enjoyed their dinning facility, nothing fancy but reasonably priced and satisfactory taste. If you like beer, you have to have Beer Lao and if you like dark beer, the Beer Lao Dark is one of the best I have ever had. Seating is both indoors or outside on a wrap around deck. The only amenities are a small bar of soap and a towel. Reasonable bicycle and scooter rental right outside their door...1,000K and 60,000K per day...Leave 1,000 Baht deposit for the bicycle and keep your passport. You will have to leave a very large deposit or leave your passport for the scooter. Take many pictures of the scooter before you leave the shop. This will help alleviate any problems if there are any damage claims. WiFi in the Lobby is OK but pretty sketchy from your room. Bargain with the Taxi drivers, they want 200 Baht for a ride almost anywhere. Offer 150 Baht and stick to it, they will usually accept your offer. You can of course, also use the Kip equivalent. Bicycle rental for 1,000 Kip is your best deal. I have stayed there twice, so I guess it works for me!

• Christof (2/5): Not to be recomended - It was so bad that I went to other hotel even I had already paid. Staff unfriendly and not organized, room small, dirty, smelly with broken TV, wifi on and off, no fridge in entire guesthouse, noisy and broken mattress. Lost money but I could not bear that horror.

• Christof (2/5): Too cheap to be good. - DONT GO THERE!!! AWEFUL! Reception was not organized. They checked my paid reservation for a long time. Was told that I had to move to smaller room the next day. The room was dirty, the matress and towels broken, no toilet paper, no shower curtain and b/r so small you had to shower standing over the toilet. TV was broken with blured picture and no remote control. The room had a window, facing a dirty wall 50cm away. The single room was so small, I barely could move and the bathroom just at the head of the bed with broken matress. It was smelly too. There was no fridge in the room and the whole hostel. It was noisy from the busy street in front the guesthouse. The Wifi was very weak, on and off. Although I had paid for 6 nights, I moved out after 1 night. Lost money, but was happy with other solution in other guesthouse.

• lance (2/5): Do not recommend - We arrived early and checked in. The check in process was very informal and we were given our room key. The room was very dirty and there was blood on the pillows. We also did not feel secure leaving our valuables in the room as it was barely lockable. There was also filthy beds sitting in the hallway. The owner gave a us a discount to hire bicycles which was nice, however we checked out an hour later and cut our losses with this hotel.

• SHINICHIRO (4/5): 安っぽい普通のゲストハウスでした？ - ゲストハウスとしては普通、スタッフも親切です。但し、シャワーの水圧が恐ろし悪くて、頭を洗うどころではなかったです？…。また、枕の臭いも気に成る？…。次回はもう利用しないです。

• Verified traveler (4/5): Fewer amenities than before - I used to stay here and this past time I was surprised by new limits on amenities, such as water in the room. First room was a dark cave where the bathroom pipes whined and the window opened to a wall. Second room leaked water everywhere from the Aircon and I had to use a bucket. Won't stay here again.
• Jessica (6/5): Convenient - The hotel in right in the center of everything. You can purchase anything from the hotel or walk down the street to save $1. Examples: laundry, bikes, bus tickets, tuk tuks, etc... the shower and toilet are close to one another so you do have to dry the toilet when you're done showering. We think the hotel doubles as a brothel.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel in the main area of Vientiane - Had a nice stay here and ended up booking in person for a longer stay over the Lao New Year. The breakfast is cooked to order with an okay selection. The room was fine and good to have aircon. The bed could have been more comfortable and the neighborhood is a bit noisy as the hotel is situated on a main road.

• Brandon (6/5): Only for a night - The hotel is OK for a night but I wouldn't recommend staying longer than that. Rooms are old and dingy, breakfast staff is not very good. The location of the hotel is OK and the man who works the front desk was super helpful booking us train tickets to Bangkok, but overall those were the only highlights.

• Rob (8/5): Not a bad hotel. - Nicely located hotel in Vientiane. Room was a bit tired looking and the wifi was pretty poor, but the staff were helpful, even if check in was complicated for a traveler straight of the Bangkok-Nong Khai bus.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Exactly like last year I arrived to the hotel and got to hear that they didn't have a room for me, even if I had a reservation done both times. So I got to go to Mixok Guesthouse instead. Breakfast was served at Mixok Inn and it was as good as last year as well. I also like what they have done with the "lobby". The people working at Mixok Inn and Mixok guesthouse are friendly and nice.

• Emma (8/5): Okay place to stay - The room was a good size with a comfy bed and pillows. The air con was good and there was also a fan but the room did smell a bit damp.The TV was showing the EPL football which a was great bonus. The shower was hot although the sink or toilet were leaking in the bathroom which wasn't great, but we've dealt with worse!! The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice with good coffee, pancakes and eggs with fresh bread. Make sure you have mosquito repellant as there are lots including a few in the room!
