Guest Reviews
- Veronica (6/5): - No breakfast was offered and it was decent for the price Beds where pissed stained and curtains were broke so people could see inside room
- Rathke (1/5): - The beds were squeaky the room. The room was filthy dirty, the only cleaning stuff they could supply us was bleach in a bottle and a towel. If I wouldn't have changed rooms we wouldn't have got any sleep because the bed was squeaky in the first room. That person on duty was upset because we didn't return the first key fast enough to him so he came over and complained about that. I feel like I should get a refund for the room. Nothing.
- George (3/5): - The WiFi didn’t work. The sheets and comforter was too small for the bed. The plug beside the bed didn’t work. The other plug on the other side didn’t work either. When I plugged my charger in it. The light in the ceiling would continuously flicker. Even with the light switch off. Won’t be back n Everything
- Matthew (1/5): - My ole lady said he was kinda rude to her. And the room was really dirty. There was roaches in the draws and dead roaches smashed on the wall. The carpet was really dirty.
- Ash (10/5): -

- Dawn (5/5): Probably should've slept in my truck - Easy access to highway. Manager was kind. Check- in was a breeze Needs updating bad. Carpets need ripped out and replaced. Remote was broken, so couldn't watch TV. It's a very old motel, so you cant expect it to be a 5 star place, but really needs attention. Bed wasn't comfortable at all. $70 for a Sunday night check-in was fair
- Anna (5/5): - Cheap A lot to be desired in standard of comfort.
- Anna (4/5): - Cheap Dirty
- Athish (8/5): -
- Jerry (8/5): - It was clean quiet staff came by once asked if i needed anything. I usally stay at another hotel in town but i found a new one!!
- Marshall (7/5): - When checking in the owner said if the room isn't up to my standard that he would make sure I'm in a room that makes me more comfortable.
- Emmie (1/5): -
- John (3/5): booked for two days left after one night - location near to where I was going no place to hang your clothes, bathroom door would not shut had a big gap around the frame anyone could see in the bathroom
- Jana (8/5): - The area is off the beaten path. It's quiet and I felt safe. It's pet friendly and I just needed a clean safe place to stay for an event nearby. I would stay here again.
- Björn (2/5): -
- Darrick (6/5): - Things were not in the best kept condition, tub faucet broken yet functional, dirt stains in bathroom, seems only beds could possibly be kept up, minimal cleaning or wiping down or sweeping
- Randall (9/5): -
- William (8/5): -
- TERESA M (10/5): - Nice people.
- Kirt (2/5): - Property was convenient to our venue, but that was all. Room was dirty and musty smelling. Smelled like recondition cigarette smoke. Bathroom was dirty pee and poop on the toilet. Bathroom towels were yellow not white and not usable. We end up going to Walmart and buying towels. Water pressure was nothing but a little over a trickle. Would not recommend.
- Mark (8/5): - Although not a posh hotel by any stretch, it was perfectly adequate for my needs, acceptably clean, well lit, and you CAN"t BEAT THE PRICE. Seriously, I will stay here again when I am next in the area.
I would have liked to have had a regular sized bath towel. But perhaps I should have just asked the manager?
- Kristina (2/5): - The room looked like a room you see in horror movies. If i want so tired when i arrived, i would have slept in my car. Please, do NOT stay there!
- Amy (4/5): - Vintage or run down? Take your pick. But the bathroom was filthy so I wonder what else was that I couldn’t see.
- Wendell (4/5): Not the best value for the money - I expected the Greystone to be a little old and funky, which was fine, but the room rate is way too high for what you get. Other motels in the same price range offer breakfast, decent towels, etc., but the Greystone doesn't. The furniture, etc., in the room was pretty beat up.
- debbie (10/5): - Recently updated, courteous staff
- debbie (8/5): - Staff was courteous and helpful. It's an older property with simple upgrades like new roofs, new electronic door locks. The room had a few cosmetic needs. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It's on a main road thru town so early in the morning and near dinner time there's traffic but it was manageable and relatively quiet other times. Close to shopping, dining in town.
- Dawn (3/5): Got the job done, but the smell was overbearing - Staff was friendly, cheapest in town Musty smell, broken sink, outdated
- Grooms (10/5): Exceptional - It's was clean n comfy n peaceful There was nothing I didn't like
- Grooms (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Brooks (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Chad (1/5): Horrible - Nothing staff was rude lazy and inconsiderate, they have one person who lives there for free doing everything It’s kinda gross and nasty Everything from the one staff to the squeaky beds& , dirty bath tub. The creepy staff member made it feel like a crack hotel
- Charles (6/5): - It was quite and clean
- Terry (2/5): - That place is nasty dirty. The walls are filthy, carpet is worn out, and there are cockroaches. I pray that I don’t drag any of those home with me.
- John (8/5): - Good room, partially updated. Manager was helpful
- James (2/5): Will probably opt to pay more for a different area motel next time - Location was close to the lake There was a loud noisy party until late
- Joseph (2/5): - Wasn't worth the money , very dirty unkept rooms
- Jason (1/5): Terrible - Price The price was the only thing I liked. The shower faucet was broken only had warm water, the shower bad was cracked. The shower drain had things growing out of it. The bed sheets had stains all over them. We went to the store and bought our own sheets also got flip flops to get a shower in. We Will never stay in the hotel again in our visits. We drove around for over an hour looking for another place to stay on our next visit that will be a 10 day stay.
- Ted (9/5): Superb -
- Alcaraz (6/5): Pleasant - It's old but clean. It has been updated, everything was nice. It was comfortable enough. Mattress was old and had grooves. No coffee maker in the room. Floor was badly broken under the carpet...squeaky and actually sloped badly.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amber (3/5): Poor -
- Dorothy (1/5): The man behind the counter was rude. The bed was lumpy. - It’s was in the ghetto hills. Nothing
- Daniel (8/5): - It was ok
- dawn (4/5): - the property was old and needed to be redone. The beds were nice, the refrigerator was good. The carpet needed to be replaced. It needed to be repainted. The room was not nonsmoking. It had a bad order.
- Carrie (10/5): Slept great, nice and peaceful. End room , back side by church! - The room was big, the place was actually clean, absolutely zero bugs which is a plus!!! The air conditioner was amazing cold. Rural area but close to town. Other rooms were being remodeled but it did not interfere with my stay at all. Everything was great for the price ! Also no loud or obnoxious people hanging around which is also a plus. I would stay here again. Clean, quiet, cool. Great staff on-site as well. Thank you Mike!! Wonderful people.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Shower was hot, tv was great and air conditioning was great. Room was so so as far as cleanliness. Mainly bathroom around toilet was not clean. It was good for a one night stay.
- Mark (4/5): - Room was not clean and needed painting and good housekeeping.
- John (8/5): Clean Older Motel - This is an older motel where you park in front of your room. I find this rapidly disappearing older motor court style much more convenient. There is a nice ice machine near the office and a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. There is no breakfast but I'm sure there are restaurants and fast food nearby.
- Leland (8/5): - I kinda feel like this place unfairly gets a bad rap but it was good by me. I stayed here about 10 days or so by myself. It was a convenient location for me to do most things that I wanted to do in the area. It was a decent deal in terms of expense. You mostly have to ring a buzzer on the office door to get someone to come to the front desk to buzz you in and help you. One guy who works there did seem a bit grouchy but it was no big deal. Overall I liked him and he helped me with the few things I needed. The guy at the front desk was good. It does seem to be an old place but I didn't care about that. If you want a luxury place this isn't it. But if you want a simple, affordable, convenient place then I think it is quite good. Parking is super convenient. I had a good stay, have stayed here before and would do so again. I like the place. It has character. I like it a lot! Parts of my initial review were flagged for review. I felt like my original review would have been more helpful to any reviewer but I was censored.
- Jennifer (2/5): - Had a nasty smell and so dirty
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were friendly and understanding.
Had a crack/hole in the tub. Walls were dirty. Definitely got what we paid for.
- Watters (7/5): Good -
- Russell (8/5): Very good - Great location. Old time "Motor Hotel" feel to the place. These older places can only be fixed up so much, and they've done a decent job here. Owners were super helpful. A couple of ragged edges here and there, but clean and comfortable.
- Jeremy (2/5): - Dirty. Spiders in room
- Constance (2/5): - It was very dirty. Stains on the bed sheets and pillow cases. Food crumbs and hair in the bed. Bathroom sink was disgusting, looked like it had never been cleaned. The staff was very rude. We left, never even stayed in the room. We stayed with family instead. Very disappointed.
- Bbobb (10/5): - Nice place
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff is very rude. Not clean at all. Pictures really need to be updated. Do not recommend and will not go back.
- Jennifer (1/5): Bad -
- Tom (10/5): - It was a nice place the guy that checked me in was nice he said he has been there a long time
- Luke (2/5): - This place was gross and dirty! Stains on walls were the worst I've ever seen! Obviously a druggie motel for a place to party! Disgusting and overpriced for sure!
- Bressette (8/5): Very good -
- John (5/5): Passable -
- Rebecca (2/5): - The ad states, "complimentary coffee in each room." We were told there wasn't a coffee pot in the whole place. Lie! The carpet was torn and filthy. The tub and shower was covered in black mold. Bathroom door had holes punched in it. Sheets were covered in some type of animal hair (short haired dog, or rodent). Fridge did not get cold, mattress was hard and pillows were lumpy! It would have been better to have slept in my car!
- Bradley (1/5): Bad -

- JOEL (4/5): - The room stuck of stale cigarette smoke, probably when smoking was allowed in the room. The condition of room: baseboard molding torn free, holes in doors and furniture, shower water valve damaged. Positive: Clean sheets, counter tops clean, excellent lighting.
- Rebecca (10/5): Great place - I Stay there quite often the people are always nice I never have any issues the water is always hot The beds are always comfortable just need a little fixing up
- Jas (4/5): Disappointing - They had me sign a receipt for room that I already paid for through booking .com. It was different amount than what I had already paid. Like they were going to double charge me for room once I left the next day.
- Johnson (1/5): Bad -
- David (2/5): - The power was out..couldnt check in
.but they still billed me!!!! I AM DONE WITH EXPEDIA!!
- Steven (4/5): - This is a very old motel which has not been upgraded in many years.
- TOM (2/5): - Place smells terrible
Had to change rooms now only have one bed
Had to rent another room at a local hotel since we got downgraded to a single bed
Screaming cat side room all night long
People roaming parking lot
No warm water
No soap
Could not really lock the door
Mgt did not return my calls
Terrible ne we again
- Patrick (7/5): Good - The location was great. It was quiet and peaceful. The check in was very easy. The staff was nice. Really it is what you would expect for the price. Definitely dated, real narrow showers if you are overweight or larger frame you will not fit in them. The overall bathroom setup is functional but need a real makeover.
- Mike (5/5): Passable -
- Bloemeke (1/5): Bad - The beds were somewhat clean. There were dead bugs and dirty everywhere. It smelled of smoke even in a non smoking room, the air conditioner smelled of rotten pee when turned on.
- Valle (10/5): Definitely worth while. - It was nice cozy and staff was very welcoming. A very nice place Not enough lighting and outlets didn't work by bed.
And it would be amazing if bathtub was available
- Charles (2/5): Very poor -
- Sharon (7/5): Good -
- Patrisha (10/5): - Very affordable
A lot cleaner than most places
Easy to get to…
- Ronald (5/5): Passable -
- Zachery (8/5): - The location was nice and price was good.
- Burns (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cierra (3/5): Poor -

- debbie (8/5): - close to shopping and food. Excellent external security lights. On a small main road so it is a bit noisy until about 930Pm then it is fine. The staff was courteous and attentive. This is an older property with cosmetic needs inside the rooms. However, it was clean, stocked with supplies and the bed was great! If you want no frills at a great price, consider this place.
- William (6/5): Near Rocky Fork - It was OK for an overnight stay while traveling. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. A lot of work has been done to the outside; paving and concrete steps. More needs to be done inside. The bathrooms need a rehash. The water tap in the bathtub was designed for a sink; bathroom door looked like someone had given it a good kick. Little things like that put you off. They need to pay closer attention to the creature comforts. The office was never manned while we were there and there were language barriers when someone answered the bell. No problems that can't be overcome.
- Joy (4/5): Very dirty - The sheets were clean. There was grime dried dripping down the walls, unidentified white substances crusted on the carpet. But at least the sheets were clean
- Ryan (3/5): Poor -
- Yvonne (2/5): Not again. - The unit was dirty and didn’t look good or feel good. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there. I ended up driving back home the same evening. Just because the property is older, doesn’t mean it has to look/smell that way.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room smelled terrible the walls were dirty .
- Heidi (4/5): Comfortable bed, but cleanliness could be improved - Bed was comfortable. Price very reasonable and ice machine and coffee were much appreciated. Improvements on cleanliness and customer service would be great to make guests feel welcome, and repairs such as bathroom door that didn't close would make stay more comfortable.
- David (6/5): Pleasant - For the price it was a fair deal.staff was helpful and friendly Rooms could be cleaner
- Dean (6/5): - Vending machine did not work
- Shelly (8/5): All in All a Good Stay - The location was great, the fact that it is pet friendly, affordable and the bed was comfortable. I was happy that the bathroom actually had a mirror and sink in it, unlike some places you stay these days. Another patron was able to wash and detail his pontoon boat for what seemed like hours with a pressure washer. It was very loud and annoying right outside of our room.
Stains on the top comforter.
- Gayle (6/5): - It is an okay, convenient place to rest and sleep. The manager on site was very gracious and helpful. The room was clean and had all that we needed for our overnight stay. Morning coffee next door was great and easy to access. Good price.
