• Kay (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, comfy bed. Typical Moroccan selection for breakfast. Due to the businesses in the area plenty of parking lots. Sadly it's in rooms to the main road even with closed window and A/C on not quiet until 2am as many bikes and cars are racing and honking. But not the hotels fault. Plenty of stores to shop and dine in the area.

A la réception,on nous a répondu qu'il y avait effectivement des chambres sans réfrigérateur 😡 Était ce parce que nous n y sejournions qu une seule nuit !? Si nous y étions restés plusieurs jours, nous aurions demandé à changé de chambre.

• azeem (6/5): Shower leaking always - Shower leaking not nice when the water is all over the floor. I have now stayed here a few times and always had a problem with shower leaking in different rooms and the water gets very hot and cold randomly

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not comfortable - When I arrived at reception it was a bit Crowded and only one receptionist there, I waited more than 30 min then finally got my room, they didn’t explain if breakfast is included nor check out time… The first room was in the second floor, it was not 100% ready, and a bit dirty and very noisy, I was able to hear music and the next door talking Then 23h30 I got to change the room, this one was is in the 3rd floor and a bit less noisy, but the floor was still very dirty, my socks became brown and sticky.

The next morning when trying to get breakfast I was told that my reservation doesnt include breakfast, I told them it does and even tried to show the Manager the reservation on Expédia app but she didnt look at it and insisted that it doesnt have breakfast. I noticed that the amout I paid at move in was slightly different than what show my reservation so I guess the receptionist forget (or removed) the breakfast when I checked in. I decided to just pay the breakfast for the rest of the stay so i could eat in peace instead of arguing with unpleasant customer service agents

• vera (4/5): - Op de site stond dat de kamers geluiddicht waren. Maar dat was blijkbaar een grapje. De ramen sloten niet en als de buren aan het praten waren konden wij dat horen. Om 00.30 om een andere kamer gevraagd. Deze kamer was vies met grote torren op het bed. Uiteindelijk wel een andere kamer gekregen maar ook deze was gehorig. Ook de airco deed het niet. Het was bloedheet in de kamer. En wij dachten fijn een hotel met zwembad te hebben maar daar kon je maar tot 17.00 gebruik van maken.
• Benjamin (10/5): Ah top - Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable dans cet hôtel, nous avions même demandé s’il était possible d’avoir une chambre moins chaude car nous étions au cinquième étage, ils nous ont aussitôt changé de chambre. Le personnel est adorable, très serviable, ils font tout pour que l’on soit au top.
• Edward (6/5): - The hotel did not have leaflets on things to see and the hotel staff i asked (2 of them) didn't know either. They instead directed me to the square.. Another issue i had was the bathroom windows(internal windows ) were see through. So if you don't want your partners to see you sitting on the loo, then it is not for you. Else it is near a shopping mall and there are many restaurants . Straight road into town. It is also a quiet area

The staff generally were fine but in no way going to suggest anything or promote their restaurant. I found breakfast at half the price and better outside .

Cependant, des locaux nous ont confirmé que le quartier pouvait être moins sécurisant le soir, notamment pour deux femmes seules. À notre arrivée, nous avons vécu une situation inconfortable : un homme stationné devant l’hôtel nous a interpellées, puis a réussi à entrer précipitamment dans l’ascenseur avec nous pour demander mon contact, malgré notre indifférence initiale. Ce comportement nous a surpris et mis mal à l’aise, d’autant plus que ni la sécurité ni la réception de l’hôtel ne sont intervenues. Malgré cette expérience, nous avons tout de même pu profiter de notre séjour. Nous recommandons à l’établissement de renforcer la sécurité pour assurer un environnement plus serein à ses clients.
• Yemi (8/5): Good for the money - The hotel is centrally located in a busy mall area. There’s lot of traffic and if you’re a light sleeper then the traffic noise will definitely disturb you. The room was cleaned daily. There was no central air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open.

• Verified traveler (8/5): En okej vistelse med små brister. - Luftkonditionering finns inte, styrd central värme som gäller, jag vill ha lite kalt i rummet, det gick inte det 23grader konstant oavsett hur man hanterar reglaget som finns i rummet, den har ingen funktion. Bar/lounge Finns inte. Rumsservice dugnetrunt finns inte. Snackbar/deli finns inte. Frukosten var inte till min belåtenhet, det fanns ingen ägg, varken kokt, omelet eller steak. Jus är inte färskt, det är köpt jus. Bröd saknar variation. Bortsett från detta hotellet är okej.

I have to change the room the day I arrived as my original room’s lock was faulty and after settling in one room I struggled every time to open the door after coming back from outside. Shower hose was damaged. The staff in the reception was careless. Apart from that all was fine

Although the hotel is located in a retail park, it is quiet and convenient. Lots of shops nearby and the huge Marjane supermarket is just across the road, as are many restaurants, cafes and bars. Food in the hotel is good and reasonably priced. Unless you intend to spend most of your time in the hotel it is perfect because the more upmarket hotels cost considerably more. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. We will probably come back here.

• Marjorie (10/5): Nice Hotel! - The staff at the Relax Hotel are always very kind and accommodating. The hotel lobby is well designed. The rooms clean and comfortable. The bathroom sink area could use a little work but the shower was very nice. The bed was little too firm for my taste but I was able to get some sleep. I always stay at this hotel when I need to make a quick overnight reservation. The location is good as it is next to a big store called Marjane, which is similar to Walmart in America. There are plenty of places to shop and places to eat nearby. I really enjoyed the breakfast at Tito‘s. I don’t really have anything bad to say about the Relax Hotel. It’s a good choice if you’re looking to book for a day or so. They do have a really nice pool and although I did not partake in the breakfast this time, they also have a very delicious breakfast buffet.

• Kaan (8/5): - Relax hotel the name says it all it is definitely a place to "relax" the hotel is quaint but modern and i had quite a comfortable stay the pool area is quite peaceful green and refreshing oasis ( and even better a friendly cat to greet you) in contrast to the hectic pace of the city The breakfast although bountiful can get repetitive day by day an omelette and pancake/crepe station is needed the salad selection was quite good actually the mint tea was cool although i really liked the hot milk for the coffee What was missing is freshly squeezed orange juice (instead of the processed variety) The dinner has delicious french chicken dishes (plat) to choose from The rooms are very clean the pillows very cushiony and adds charm to the room the showers are piping hot my room had a nice view over the pool area One downside of the hotel is that the surrounding area of the city is unappealing with very few or no points of interest and noisy but that is not the hotel's fault The staff were very welcoming and i felt like "home away from home" Despite the minor shortcomings i highly recommend this hotel for any stay in marrakesh

It's right across the street from their version of Walmart called Marjane. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Better air conditioning than the expensive downtown hotels. No breakfast at at my low rate but Pizza hut next door has a great $5 breakfast deal. No fridge but a 3 minute walk to Marjane to get fresh every day. Looks like a great pool but I am not a pool person. It's gotta be one of the best deals in town. Americans (I'm one) will love it.

• Ahmed (2/5): Bad service - It was bad experience for me and my wife, we used to stay at Relax casa voyage and we had an amazing time over there, we decided to go Marrakesh and we have chosen the same Relax hotel. The room service is taking long time to respond. We asked for shower towels they gave us only one. I was about to stay longer but I didn’t because of the situation I have faced.

• C (6/5): - It's very difficult to rate a property like this. From western standards, it was very inexpensive. So inexpensive, if my local friend had not recommended it I would not have chanced-it fearing the price would reflect the quality. So it feels unfair to rate this as if I was paying for a full standard western hotel rate (which many other hotels in the city are priced for). Overall, I would say for the price I paid, it was good value. I found the staff very willing to try to help, with the front desk being fluent in English. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, and the bed was fine and I slept well. However, there were things that were unacceptable by western hotel standards. There was paint running down the wall of the shower from the ceiling above the shower. I needed to ask for a duvet/comforter cover for my bed. Apparently it's standard to just have a bed-sheet and an over-sheet which means you're using a comforter that has been in direct contact with previous users? Once I did that, the cleaning staff did an excellent job remaking the bed and cleaning the room (I stayed 3 nights). The towels had seen better days, and the soap and toiletries provided were a bit naff, but overall, I would still say I got good value for money and I would be open to staying again. Other reviewers have mentioned the loudness of events at night. The first two nights I didn't experience this, but the third night I did. Very loud dance music until well past midnight.
