We also liked the pool, it was conveniently outside of our room. The staff were also super friendly. Their could be a little bit more appliances in the kitchen, it felt as though the appliances were very limited. For example, we wanted to make dinner in the room however we did not buy oil or PAM spray, which the room did not supply for us.

- Adam (9/5): Amazing place with one small gripe. - Location was amazing, the room and space were clean, large, and felt very much like home. The cleaners pressured us to leave before our checkout time. If you are going to require a 10 am checkout time, the cleaners should not put a bucket and vacuum outside the room at 845 and wait outside the door until we leave. We should have felt welcome through the checkout time, and instead, we felt welcome until one hour before checkout.

- Diana (8/5): Spacious Beach Villa in Downtown Carlsbad, California - Location, Roomy, clean, felt safe and comfortable. Should provide more Toilet paper, coffee pods, and paper towels. The check out time was way too early. Average is 11 am. Since you couldn't check in until 4pm then had to check out at 10 am you really aren't getting your full time.

- Linda (5/5): I wouldn’t stay there again unless it were in an upstairs unit, which seem to have windows that you can look out of. - The best thing about the property is the location, just above the beach. It was very small and dark, because the windows are just below the ceiling and have frosted glass, so you cannot see outside at all. It is like staying in a large closet.

Carlsbad had a lovely laid back atmosphere and the apartment was central. Tha apartment facilities with kitchen made for a very easy stay. The bed and room was comfortable and had been newly refurbished. Nothing - it was exactly as expected.

There is little to no space to set things. No counter space at all, and nothing in the shower to place your shampoo and soap. Other than that it was cozy.

- Watkins (8/5): - The location and size of the villa, along with the cosmetic updates, were very nice. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped. You can hear the ocean from the master bedroom in the morning when it's quiet. The villa could be noisy due to having to keep the windows open for airflow since there is no AC. This is not the fault of the property, but more due to the location next to other busy condos and the busy street. We heard a lot of garbage trucks and delivery trucks pretty much every day.
- Mary (6/5): - The property was nice. The staff was really helpful. The only issues i had was the loud noise upstairs that woke us up early everyday. I dod speak to someone about it, but the noise continued. I also had to buy towels and toilet paper. You could wash your towels but, we didn't have coins.
- Meza (5/5): Great for convenience but not great for relaxing. - The location is perfect. You are able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Being that parking is near impossible, especially on the weekends, this makes for a perfect location. The noise from the other guest is horrible. We had people above us that were running and stomping all day into the night, sliding things across the floor, and what sounded like body slamming themselves onto the floor. They were shaking the fixtures and lights with how hard they were stomping. If you are coming here to relax in your room I do not recommend staying here. There is also only one parking spot which is a little inconvenient if you have more than one vehicle. The last night we were there the wifi cut out in the middle of the movie that we were watching which was also a little annoying.

We had a good visit but provisions inside were just basic - Location was awesome and could NOT have been more convenient! That was our reason for booking. As far as equipping the Villa inside, everything was just minimal. There were so many things that could have been done to make it more inviting like providing a more comfortable bed to more in the kitchen. It was a “beach” location and not even a beach chair, umbrella or beach towel was available for use.

The bathroom was so small you needed to stand over the toilet to wash your face. There were holes in the walls, needs a renovation
