- Arthur (3/5): Never again. - Location in town. The staff was rude at the desk and the restaurant. Dinner was overpriced and average. Breakfast was same. Our breakfast server has serious attitude issues. Parking difficult as it fills up with non-staying people there for the buffets and hotel guests nowhere to park. Air conditioning unit in our room horrible and needs replaced. No guest elevator so stairs a challenge for anyone with any type of physical limitations.

- Sherry (9/5): Fun place to stay for a night or two. - The history of the building and area were interesting. The show and rodeo trip were a fun option. We were only there one night or we would have done more. The location allowed us to explore the town and park. We were hauling a trailer and needed a place to park it. Parking for hotel was limited but hotel staff pointed out nearby public parking which helped.

However it was nearly 10am when we got there! We were on the 3rd floor? And had many stairs to climb which was ok but with suitcases it was a bit hard! Had a young woman who did help us which was great as my husband had pulled a muscle!

- Linda (3/5): Buffalo Bill is rolling over in his grave! - Western decor, location, historical significance. After traveling through several states, we found the staff to be the most rude and least helpful that we had encountered. Restaurant staff included. When we arrived, we were told that the room we had booked for 2 nights was under maintenance so we were forced to check out of the room after the first night and check back in to a new room for the second night. When we voiced our dissatisfaction of this inconvenience the staff acted like they could care less and provided no compensation or apologies.

- Hergenreter (6/5): - The rooms were cute, design of the hotel is quirky Everything is so loud. We woke up a few times because of people outside the room or in the other room next to us. The hot water took 15 minutes to get even close to shower temperature

- Thomas (6/5): No ghosts here because of the grumpy manager!! - The location and room were very lovely. The check in manager seemed very annoyed no smiles or welcome. Didn’t really feel that we were guests more of just some number of people taking up a room. The restaurant was lovely a part from the staff seeming to be annoyed. The checkin manager was the one that greeted us if you could call it a greeting lol! Check out was the same just leave your key and no thank you for staying. The only staff that actually said hello and smiled were the young girls that did the room cleaning. Wish that I had got their names , they actually thanked us for staying there. The manager needs to take some basic customer service lessons from these girls. We were really excited to stay in this historic hotel but won’t be back because of the manager. Lol and no ghosts ( I think Buffalo Bill and Irma went to haunt somewhere else because of the grumpy manager lol) . Change of front facing staff and some great customer service would make this hotel great!

The Irma restaurant was good, but dinner service was slow due to its popularity. Besides dining out and the one souvenir shop, there didn't appear to be any after dinner activities. There were no breakfast diners/cafes that offered a varied menu close to the Irma. The Irma Hotel offered breakfast, but we chose not to eat there since service would be slow. The staff would have been better if they had more time to spend with you. As it was, they were very busy all the time.

- bryan (6/5): - If you are going for the “historical / interesting “ vibe. This is it. Very cool in those areas. But as far as a hotel. It is like staying in a museum. With actual antiques as part of the facilities. Sinks. Toilet. Old tub with full 360 shower curtain drape thingy. Haha. It was pretty cool though. Wierd smells. Wierd sounds. Pigeons slept on the window sill Lots of creaking and such all night. The bar downstairs is lively with the local crowd and again very “interesting decor” and history. Staff is friendly. Towels and sheets were clean. Parking was wierd. The guy at check in said to just “ park wherever ! They don’t enforce the parking laws here “. Hahaha. Good luck and have fun. It is right downtown. Walking distance from all there is to see and do!

- Fabien (8/5): - Historic, period hotel. Well decorated. Well located and clean.The young male receptionist was very pleasant, smiling and helpful! The adjoining bar was nice. Good location in the city center. A female receptionist was not pleasant. She was cold and unsmiling! In the bedroom the light was white. Warmer lighting would have been appreciated. The buffet at the adjoining restaurant closed too early. The buffet was expensive compared to the food on offer. And the plates were cleared too quickly. We felt rushed.

- Jessica (8/5): - It was my first time exploring Cody as a solo female traveller and HAD to stay here. It was overall lovely and a must do if you're inspired by the historic old west. Check in was quick and easy although the member of staff seemed less enthusiastic about my arrival. I stayed in the Vern Spencer room, a very charming and historic room. It was larger than I expected and was super clean. It even had a large smart TV and good wi-fi which I was not expecting . I also felt very safe here (and in Cody) which is a major plus when travelling alone. The food downstairs however left a little more to be desired. I opted for the prime rib (an Irma speciality) it came with an assortment of sides which were great, but the prime rib itself arrived luke warm. Not bad but still could have been better. I went for the Chicken Steak for breakfast the next morning and it was lovely all except the chicken steak itself. It was almost a mash up of processed dark meat and only tasted of oil. So left that but gladly ate the rest (Thick sourdough toast, hash browns and eggs) Its a shame, the sides they seem to get perfect but they stumble at the meat products. But the service on both those occasions was always 10/10 and the dessert was great too. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Like stepping back into a time capsule Well I’m getting old and toting my luggage up a couple of flights of stairs got my heart pumping! Just glad I can still do it.

The bar and restaurant were very nice and the food was decent but not great. The pillows were not high quality so a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. The convenience is great and if you like history you will enjoy the IRMA.

Room was comfy but dark, and the bathroom definitely felt outdated, though that’s part of the charm and why you book here. A bit touristy, but great for a one-night experience. Reception could be more attentive. Location is excellent, right in central Cody. No ghosts spotted!

- Erwin (10/5): - Great historical hotel, excellent location in the middle of Main Street. Very close to shopping and dining. We ate at the restaurant, great food and value for money. The room was excellent, set in the period of the old west. Great size bed, comfortable and clean. We had a suite so had really three rooms. Very well appointed and maintained. Got a somewhat noisy at night due to the bar below, but not loud enough to stop us from sleeping. Overall we would recommend staying here.

- James (3/5): Great location in Cody, but beware if you need any staff help. - Restaurant staff and the 2 cleaning staff were nice. Perfect location in the middle of downtown Cody. Love history and reading about the Irma. Office manager was indifferent when asked about an elevator or staff to help us get our luggage up the stairs. Had a broken chair in the room. No is machine. The hot/cold handle in the shower did not produce any hot water, only lukewarm. Very soft mattresses caused backaches.

- Vania Ilenia (5/5): Cody non è solo Irma Hotel - Irma Hotel è di fatto l'attrazione di Cody per cui dormire qui vuol dire dormire "nella storia". Camera molto grande, doppio letto molto comodo. Accesso a Netflit. In pieno centro. Letti molto comodo. Molto silenzioso. Non compresa la colazione. Non abbiamo usufruito della ristorazione quindi non posso dare un giudizio. Rifacimento della stanza giornaliero. Dormire nella storia significa anche respirarla. Odore di fumo e di vecchio. Ci è stata assegnata una stanza al piano secondo e ciononostante la stanza era ceca, non una finestra se non una piccolissima non apribile con vista scala esterna. Rubinetteria doccia datata e gocciolante giorno e notte.

- ROGER (6/5): - Le petit-déjeuner et le buffet du soir Les chambres ne sont pas conformes aux photos et description. Une minuscule fenêtre donnant sur un mur très proche. Chambre très triste.

- Sally (8/5): - We really enjoyed staying here but our friends room was not so great. They had a street light outside that was strobing all night. Kept them awake. It’s a city issue, but no accommodation was made to them. Otherwise we had a very nice time.
