Guest Reviews
- OCTAVIO (2/5): Bad experience - When we got there the person at the front desk said that the facility was booked solid and that he had only nine rooms available because he forgot to tell hotels.com that there was a renovation going on and could not help us.
Also he said that he had to charge me himself for the room even when I had already paid through your website. This is why I had to reserved another room at Lone Star Suites I just hope you are not going to double charge me for two different hotel rooms.
- Dawn (6/5): - The towels were so thin you could ser through them. No coffee even in the lobby.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The toilet in restroom did not work properly. Otherwise ok for the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - When we checked in, the first thing we had to do was call maintenance to the room to unplug the toilet. No clue what the password was for the internet, as it was not posted anywhere inside the room. All ground fault outlets were thrown and wouldnt work. And the tv remote barely worked. On the up-side, both the front desk clerk and the maintenance man were very friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was full of bugs, in the night they walk over the bed and bother all the night. Every night I had to put bugs killer spray to avoid the bugs come to the bed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No Frills - We needed a hotel that was pet friendly with a kitchen as we were displaced due to Hurricane Harvey and our stay would be more than a few nights. This was the very last room in miles, so we booked it. This hotel was exactly what we needed. It is a working man's hotel. The rooms are inexpensive and several work crews were in and out. With the exception of one loud neighbor who partied all night, and the hotel only offers basic cable TV, no major networks like CBS, etc., this hotel was fine. Had the neighbor been a few doors down, I wouldn't have noticed at all. Had the TV been real cable with major network news, we would probably have enjoyed our stay much more. That was the only objection. We couldn't find out what was going on in the world during the aftermath of a hurricane in the area. Had we stayed only a few nights, it wouldn't have mattered. Were were there a few weeks.
The staff was excellent, accommodating, and super-friendly. Couldn't ask for better management.
If you need a no-frills, basic accommodations with a kitchen, this place is ideal. We'd book it again. Nice folks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cheap stay - Good size rooms very spacious even has full size fridge. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable. If you only need a place to sleep at a good price this is the place for you. Furniture and room are outdated.
- karen (2/5): - I woke up about 5am to get ready for work. There were roaches everywhere. I was positively mortified! I would never recommend this hotel!!!!!! Bed was horrible as well. Could have spent less and got a much better hotel.
- LLEWELLYN (4/5): good price, but loud - The hotel staff were great, but the other guests were very loud so it was not a comfortable stay (This was not just a weekend stay either).
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok to stay - Just there for business. Nothing special, simple room, fairly clean.
- Estanislao (10/5): Awesomely Friendly! - The hotel was well kept and is easily accessible. The service upon check-in was fast, easy, & FRIENDLY!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): great price for what is has to offer - The rooms are so spacious! It comes with a full size fridge, microwave, AND stove! What more could you ask for and such a reasonable price! The staff is so friendly and the hotel is basically surrounded by almost everything the city has to offer. I would definitely stay here again 😁
- Riichard (10/5): Price is right, come on down. - Front desk people were great, nice and friendly.
This place was quit, clean and in fact I was surprised the rood was not more expensive than what I paid. I have paid more and gotten let at other hotels. Everything was clean, seems like new or upgraded things in the room like Wood floor and tile, no carpet which was nice for a change. I will differently stay here again on my way back through.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - there were loud party's and beer bottles in the parking lot. was afraid to leave my truck.
- Mark (10/5): It's all good. - Excellent room. We had our kids along on this trip. We booked the room at the last minute cuz we got a late start on our tip and we all needed a break. We where told the rooms had just been renovated. Every thing was as described by the person at the front desk. Over all I would say worth more than they charged. Glad we stayed here.
