• Emma (10/5): - We really liked this hotel, it was always calm and quiet, never a queue for breakfast, always sunbeds available and the bar was always quiet. Great location right next to the shops and restaurants but it was still very quiet at night. I would highly recommend for a hassle free fairly priced stay.

The staff is absolutely lovely, especially Miss Marina Tsiasioti who helped me organize my medication delivery. Breakfast is tasty, but it's the standard type of breakfast you get at hotels. They should definitely change the coffee machine and the soft drinks machine. The drinks from the machine taste like chemicals. The coffee machine also makes disgusting coffee from powder! Why can't they offer a pod coffee machine with natural milk instead of powdered milk? If you choose the half board option, you'll receive a voucher for a restaurant where you can choose three meal options. You have to pay for drinks though. Overall, it's a nice and quiet hotel that I would recommend.

Breakfast could be better but it was ok, if not a bit sparse but love the concept of bringing you breakfast in a picnic basket. A bit difficult to find but love the concept of it not being a hotel. Would definitely stay again when I need a hotel near airport. Overall excellent stay!!!

Ik wil eens graag zien wat iemand die dat ontbijt niet goed vindt, thuis als ontbijt te eten heeft. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, eigen parkeergelegenheid, gelegen vlakbij heel eetgelegenheden. Ronduit schitterend.

Breakfast was included and a good selection was available each day. Central to the resort nice pool and a quite hotel . Aircon was included but the safe was an extra If i were returning to Argssi i would definitely consider again.

De wifi is goed in de lounge en op de gang, maar niet best in de kamers. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel is netjes en schoon. Al met al goed dus.

Personale non molto cordiale e simpatico, soprattutto una addetta alla reception (abbiamo salutato sempre sia in entrata che in uscita dalla struttura e lei ha quasi sempre non risposto). Colazione abbondante sia dolce e salato. L’aria condizionata non ha mai funzionato nonostante sul termostato le abbiam provate tutte. La doccia a filo è molto bella de lo scarico funziona altrimenti allaghi il bagno. Nel complesso mi sento comunque di consigliare la struttura.

Unica pecca la scarsa insonorizzazione tra le stanze: i nostri vicini ,le prime due sere, erano particolarmente rumorosi con musica ad alto volume. Dall’albergo, situato comunque in posizione tranquilla, si raggiungono facilmente tutte le spiagge più belle dell’isola, molte delle quali sono a circa 20 minuti di distanza in auto procedendo verso sud. L’hotel è molto pulito e confortevole, la nostra camera spaziosa, il letto comodissimo. Ottima colazione continentale (imperdibile lo yogurt greco con miele e frutta!), fatta eccezione per una ragazza alla reception davvero estremamente scortese, tutto il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e disponibile, in particolare Christos e Marilena (che parla anche italiano) che ci hanno consigliato bellissime spiagge e ottime taverne! Hotel sicuramebte consigliabile.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Die Lage ist okey, sehr nah an Touristen Ständen/Ausflugsangeboten/Bars. Langweilig wird einem hier so schnell nicht! Zum baden am Strand aber ungeeignet. Ein Mietauto empfiehlt sich. Sehr unfreundliches Personal. Weder ein guten Morgen, noch gute Nacht bekamen wir zu hören. Das Frühstücks- und Reinigungspersonal spricht quasi gar nicht mit einem. Wir mussten für die Klima Anlage extra bazhalen, da diese wohl für Kunden die nicht über die direkte Hotel Webseite gebucht hatten nicht inbegriffen sei. Totaler quatsch! Es gehört schließlich zur Zimmerausstattung. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten hatten wir am folgetag nicht mal mehr eine Bettdecke im Zimmer. Wir hatten ein 3 Bett Zimmer gebucht, das einzel Bett hatte von Anfangan nur ein Bettlaken. Das Hotel allgemein ist der modern, sauber und freundlich gestaltet. Es gibt zum Abendessen in einem Restaurant eine seperate Speisekarte für die Hotelgäste auf welcher man täglich einen Salat, eine Vorspeise und einen Hauptseise wählen darf. Das Essen ist sehr gut, das Personal freundlich. Je nach Aufenthaltsdauer wiederholen sich die Gerichte eben, was nach einer gewissen Zeit eintönig werden kann. Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotzdem genossen.

Personale molto professionale ed accogliente, in particolare Melania della reception che parla anche l'italiano e fornisce informazioni preziose e puntuali. Se proprio si vuole trovare un qualcosa di negativo posso segnalare che i cornetti non sempre erano freschi ma si poteva rimediare scegliendo tra panettoni semplici o crostate ripiene di marmellata.

Location is goid just up from the main area with plenty of bars, restaurants, also 5 minute walk from the sea front.

• Elena (10/5): A Lovely place to spend a sunny week in Zakynthos! - Lovely hotel, clean and modern and great location. The pool is nice and you have shops and restaurants all just a few minutes from the hotel. Breakfast is included and had good choice and we usually went for the Greek options : Feta, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, fresh bread and pastries and Greek Yoghurt with fresh fruit and honey. Hot items were available such as bacon, beans, sauasage etc... but these tended to just warm rather than hot. Also the "orange juice" was not fresh juice so we opted to keep juice in our room fridge. If you are looking for a good beach there isn't really one within walking distance. There is a free bus from town to Banana beach which is about 20 mins or so drive away and is suberb, with a fabulous beach bar. There are also car hire places in the immediate vicinity to get to some lovely spots on the island. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and efficient. The customer service given by receptionist Marie Elena was outstanding... she always made a point of smiling and waving, even i you were directly walking in front of the reception. The Palmyra restaurant is possibly a separate business to the hotel and unfortunately this was the only bad meal we had whilst in Greece. Also the restaurant constantly piped really bad 80's and 90's tunes into the pool area on a daily basis!!! I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

• Jan (10/5): Scrupulously clean. Lovely big comfy beds. - This hotel deserves to be a 4*. It’s lovely. There is a kettle and fridge in the room. The pool was never crowded with plenty of beds and umbrellas and also a shady area under a tree. The afternoon receptionist was utterly charming . She made me feel very special every day. Breakfast wasn’t fantastic but there was lots of choice and the Greek yoghurt and honey was lovely. Short walk to bars restaurants and the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel. My room didn’t look over the pool but by the end of my week I thought that was a bonus. My side was quieter and there was a pretty view of the mountain. The cleaning ladies were also fab . Well done Hotel Palmyra I can honestly say I’ve stayed in a number of 5* hotels that aren’t up to the standards of this one.

• Janette (10/5): Lovely hotel - This was our 5th stay at the Palmyra and it was as good as ever. We were very impressed by the new reception and lounge area. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and towels changed regularly. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it is nice to see the same smiling faces every year. There is plenty of room to hang and store clothes, and you can get a hairdryer and kettle from reception if you need them. I would recommend a pool view room and if possible on the higher floor when you can get a glimpse of the sea from your balcony. There are always plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Although the Palmyra is situated in the heart of Argassi, it is always quiet. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach at Argassi is very narrow, but you can get free buses to some beaches at Vasilikos. It is a great base to travel round the island and the Palmyra is a great good value place to stay.
• sheila (8/5): Staff were excellent - Great hotel good location staff were very helpful and friendly and good choice for breakfast however small things stop it being a 5 no cushions on sunbed and my shower head wouldn't fit into wall fitting so had to have handheld showers bathrooms are very small and outdated but cleaned everyday with fresh towels . High ceilings and tiled floors also makes it echo so you do hear a lot of voices from corridors which when party goers come in at 3am can be noisy
• Tony (8/5): Good location - Very pleasant break in a reasonably quiet location. Plenty of good eating places but mostly situated on the main road with too much traffic. Beaches did not come up to expectation and were not in line with the brochures. Probably enjoyed most by those using scooters or motor cycles.
• GC (8/5): Nice hotel in the centre of town - Family vacation. This hotel served as a good base to explore beaches and nightlife.
• Mike (10/5): First-rate Holiday Hotel - Our sixth time at the Palmyra, and it gets better and better. Clean, well-run, well situated, decent staff, a good breakfast, air conditioning and a decent view from any of the rooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

• Hayes (10/5): Well run hotel with friendly helpful staff - This is the fourth time at the hotel and this time we had a room on the top floor which gave us a view of the sea from the balcony. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with fresh towels every day. Hairdryers and kettle are available from reception and work very well. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and the food is always really fresh. Breakfast available until 10.30 if you need a holiday lie-in. We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage safely after checking out (we had a late flight home) and were able to use the shower room before we left. Plenty of parking spaces.

• stacey (8/5): Close to all shops, bars etc. Comfortable, clean. - Experience was generally very good. The hotel is very close to all shops, restaurants bars. Although not too noisy as air con allows to close doors windows at night to sleep. Breakfast was ok, not brilliant but basic. The beach at Agassi is really a beach. Recommend using st Nicholas beach. There's a free bus twice daily and it has watersports too. Ask at one of the agent shops. We loved this beach. Go to see shipwreck and the turtles, must sees. Don't do an 8 hour cruise, too long. Do the 4 hour. Also, top tip, we found a hidden gem of a bar towards the end of the holiday. Can't remember exact name but something about oranges. It was so lovely, set back, lit up and a singer with painist. A far cry from the 'boom boom' bars as I like to call them. Also a lovely restaurant called peppermint which is not on the Main Street so harder to see. We had an amazing holiday
