• Karrah (10/5): - Breakfast was so delicious, excellent value. Staff was kind and informative. Location was perfect - right on the beach and a lovely stroll down to all the restaurants (only 5 minute walk). The room was clean and spacious, with a gorgeous view of the water. Lots of parking in the back. Would absolutely stay here again!
• Günther (9/5): Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt in jedem Fall, die Lage ist absolut ideal etwas weg vom Trubel, aber nur zwei Gehminut - Ein Hotel, in einer wirklich fantastischen Lage mit einem eigenen Strand, direkt vor der Tür, getrennt durch eine verkehrsberuhigte Straße, die aber absolut nicht stört. Man muss es schon wissen, dass es eine Straße ist. Der Hotelmanager ist megafreundlich, hilfsbereit und hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung. Das Frühstück wird durch ein separates Team zubereitet, die nicht zum Hotelbetrieb gehören aber das Frühstück ist ausreichend, macht satt, ist lecker und wird mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet.. Das Putzteam ist so wie man es sich in vielen Hotels wünschen würde, extrem freundlich und vor allem extrem gründlich und sauber. Wo Sonne ist, ist auch Schatten. Die Badezimmer dürften tatsächlich ruhig mal auf Vordermann gebracht werden und sie sind nicht klein sie sind eher winzig, denn ich passe mit meinem 193cm schlichtweg gar nicht auf die Toilette und kriege immer einen kalten Po weil der liegt auf der einen Seite an der Wand an. Das ist aber kein Drama dürfte aber sicher mal wieder modernisiert werden. Das würde das Hotel wirklich aufwerten und die alten Mahagonifarben den Möbel dürfen gerne mal gegen etwas frisches getauscht werden.

Hotel is meticulously cleaned each day. Hotel manager, Eric, extremely friendly and helpful We lived everything about the hotel, will definitely return and stay longer. No complaints

• Julia (9/5): Returners - The location of Sitia Bay is perfect. It is 2 minutes flat walk along the beach to the town. It is quiet, has parking at the back and serviced beach beds opposite on the beach. The cafe staff are friendly and breakfast is served there. It was all good.
• Dominique (10/5): Erholung pur - Sehr netter Empfang in diesem kleinen Familien geführten Hotel. Appartment hatte eine komplett ausgestattete Küche, jeden Tag wurden die Kaffeesticks aufgefüllt. Im Bad war ein Heizstrahler angebracht, den wir gern genutzt haben, die Nächte waren doch schon recht frisch. Pool- und Grünanlage sehr gepflegt. Das Appartement wurde täglich gereinigt, Wäschewechsel alle 3 Tage. Es gab 2 zusätzliche Kopfkissen, ein großer Schrank bot viel Stauraum, ein Safe war ebenfalls vorhanden. Vor der Tür hatte jede Wohneinheit einen persönlichen Wäschetrockner inkl. Klammern für Badesachen und Handtücher. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, v.a. Niki, Eric, Renata und die Zimmerdamen. Eric hat uns einige Tipps für Tavernenbesuche und Ausflüge gegeben, vielen Dank dafür. Das bei unserer Buchung inkludierte Frühstück wurde serviert, Brot, Marmelade, Honig, Ei, Obst, Joghurt, O-Saft, Kaffee und Ei auf Anfrage - für uns hat es gepasst. Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand, man ist trotzdem in ein paar Minuten bei den ersten Restaurants und kleinen Geschäften - perfekt für Ruhe suchende. Über die Straße und man war direkt am hoteleigenen Strand - gg. eine kleine Gebühr konnte man Liegen und Sonnenschirme nutzen und bekam dafür ein Getränk nach Wahl. Unsere Handtücher hatten teilweise Löcher und waren am Rand ausgefranst - getrocknet haben sie natürlich trotzdem, die Optik war nur nicht mehr so toll.

Les appartements, tous avec vue mer, sont grands, bien équipés (cuisine, grande literie, moustiquaire à toutes les fenêtres, balcon), les matériaux d'excellente qualité.Tout est parfait, l'accueil, le personnel, le confort, la piscine, le parking, les petits-déjeuners....encore bravo et merci à toute l'équipe, on y reviendra. • John Douglas (10/5): Great eight day holiday hotel & location - comfortable, friendly and plenty to see & do in the area. - The hotel suited us perfectly (we knew it would having stayed before). It is an apartment hotel so you can self cater as much or as little as you want - lots of restaurants in easy walking distance & breakfast/snacks etc are available in the downstairs cafe/bar. As well as rooms the hotel has several suites which are great value for the extra space. The pool is a good size and the hotel has its own sun-lounger/umbrella area on the sandy beach across the road. Great location - shops etc in walking distance - plenty of beaches, archaeological sites, gorge walks, snorkelling, towns & villages to explore. Great location for exploring Eastern Crete! Hotel people were very helpful and pleasant. we would return. Simplest answer is nothing! We knew the hotel from a previous visit so knew what to expect. Everything suited us perfectly so we wouldn't attempt to improve on the existing set-up.

• MEL (10/5): Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen - Das Hotel liegt am Rande von Sitia, so dass es dort sehr ruhig ist und in ein paar Gehminuten alles erreichbar ist. Das Hotel ist mit einem tollen Garten, eine sehr schönen Poolanlage mit bequemen Liegen und einer Dachterrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick ausgestattet. Die Zimmer haben alle Meerblick und eine Kitchenette. Diese haben wir aber gar nicht benutzt, da wir mit Frühstück gebucht haben. Das wurde liebevoll hergerichtet und an den Tisch serviert. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr sehr nett. Und es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt am Hotel, was sehr komfortabel ist. Es gibt nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat

• Hahn (9/5): - Die Lage Die Freundlichkeit der Menschen Die unerwarteten Kleinigkeiten, die alles ein wenig entspannter machen, wie z.B. echte brennende Kerzen im Treppenhaus, die einen den Weg zum Zimmer zeigen Der Pool, auch wenn wir ihn nicht genutzt haben, weil das Meer auf der anderen Straßenseite liegt. Die Ruhe Unser Bad war recht klein, die Dusche dafür bequem groß. Ein Bett mit einer Matratze wäre schön gewesen.

• Pierre (10/5): excellent - Il s'agit en fait d'un ensemble de studio tout équipés avec vue sur la mer. L'immeuble est parfaitement situé au bord de la mer à proximité du centre. Il bénéficie d'un parking privé. Les studio sont très confortables et la piscine est très agréable. Du petit déjeuner à l'accueil, dans toutes les démarches, il y a une grande exigence de qualité qui justifie l'attribution de la note maximum Rien, tout est parfait. Le guide du routard le recommandait vivement avec raison.
• Steve (10/5): Hôtel à découvrir! - Hôtel très bien situé près de la plage. La piscine est un atout en fin de journée pour relaxer. Personnel très accueillant et de bons conseils. Les chambres font tous face à la mer. Très plaisant de se réveiller avec le son des vagues. Le parking est gratuit. Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter.

• Rasmus (10/5): 10/10 - Almost everything! Location was excellent, most stores were within a 10' walk and the beach was right in front of the hotel. The room was always spotlessly cleaned, spacious and very functional. Big plus also that the pool did not have chlorine! Efharisto Errikos for a great time, we will be visiting again! Being Scandinavian, I am used to much softer beds so this was a bit of a weird experience with the harder matresses.

• Sheila (10/5): Sitia Bay Hotel was the highlight of our stay on Crete and we hope to come back one day. - We loved the location right across from the beach, and the pool was absolutely gorgeous, what an amazing surprise that was, and so clean. The room was spacious, clean and had a view of the ocean and many amenities in the kitchen. The breakfast options were so good and the cafe on site was wonderful. We wished we booked longer. If we stayed longer, we probably would have liked a more comfortable couch and a coffee table, for the living space.

He helped us with our daily trip plans, restaurants and city info. The room and property is extremely well taken care of with daily garbage pick up and full time property maintenance staff. Pool looked nice although we explored outside Sitia each day and didn’t use it. Parking was no problem every time we returned. The location was fantastic! Walking distance to the promenade, restaurants and tavernas, coffee shops and the beach across the street. Lots of seaside options for meals and drinks. Sitia is beautiful at night! Minor- all drying racks are in the main inner walkway and it didn’t quite do the trick as not as much airflow. Appreciate that it keeps the balconies free of a messy look though.

The apartment was well equipped and cleaned every day. Best towels of our holiday. There were many restaurants to choose from and a decent supermarket close by. Because of its orientation, the apartment was cool and we didn't use the air conditioning. There was nothing to dislike.

• Keith (8/5): Excellent value for money apartment and location. - Great location, short walk to Sitia's bars and restaurants. A nice balcony with a lovely view over the bay and side view towards Sitia. A beach across the road and a very nice pool area. We used the apartment as a hotel room eating out both at lunch time and in the evening. The apartment was cleaned every day. The family hosts were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. If self catering for any length of time, I would think the room and galley kitchen would be on the small size.

• Αντώνης (10/5): Excellent location, friendly staff, very clean and well-maintained accommodation - The hotel is located directly in front of the local beach, few minutes walking from restaurants and also on the main road to Vai palm forest. Staff were really kind and helpful - room clean and spacious. Hotel is well maintained (e.g pool) and price was reasonable for time of visit (August 2023). The sea view balcony was amazing.

• Anna (10/5): A friendly hotel, good value & a great location. - We had a really enjoyable stay at Sitia Bay. The hotel is in a nice quiet, sea-front location at the edge of the town, but everything is easily reachable on foot within minutes. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious & the pool was a good size. We would definitely recommend it. We couldn’t find anything to dislike.
• Laura (10/5): Home-feeling place with everything you need and more - The apartment has everything you may need (stove, fridge, freezer, toaster, tea and coffee maker, oven, kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, etc), very clean and comfortable, and it is very well located in Sitia itself and in the area to reach other beaches and places to visit. The olive oil shampoo and shower gel felt like being in a spa. The air conditioner worked perfectly fine. The balcony had nice views to the beach with nice tables and chairs to have breakfast. The pool was very nice with sun beds and tables and chairs. Eric and his mother were very attentive, gave us incredible tips on restaurants and beaches, and other nice locations to visit according to our plans and needs. There are not many places left with such care for details and hospitality, it felt like being at home with family! Nothing at all. We would have stayed longer if we could

Eric the manager is extremely nice and very helpful, gave us lots of information and recommendations about what to do in the area. There is a private parking. The pool is great and very clean and calm. Amazing see view balcony. Baby safe. We would have preferred double bed instead of two single beds attached together - but this is not really matters.

All the staff was truly very welcoming and always with a smile to attend every need. We took the breakfast and it was also amazing! We highly recommend this hotel just across a very nice beach.

We did not use the kitchenette for cooking, we ate the breakfast and lunch at the pool and in the evening we went at the Sitia restaurants. The food is very good everywhere in Sitia with good prices. The ambiance is nice in the hotel and the owners very friendly and helpful. The pool is very nice to have during the day or evening (till 20.00) as one comes back from the beach. We will definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you to the owners. Everything was fine.

The restaurant selections from Eric were superb if you like the local cuisine of Satia. The breakfast is 7 out of 10. Great French pressed coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The yogurt is fresh too. The ham sandwich was ok, but I prefer an egg in the morning. I would be ok if I was charged more and had more options.

• Terry (10/5): We would go back in a heartbeat. - The room was spotless and very well appointed. So many little touches that showed great attention to detail. Our balcony looked out over the beach, as did the rooftop terrace. The whole hotel was very tastefully done in quiet luxury. The owner was wonderful and made sure that everything was perfect. We loved it.
• William (10/5): Fantastic holiday in Sitia. Great hotel. - Everything. What a great hotel. Eric, the owner, was so helpful. The staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. Our room, number 12, was one of the suites, and was spacious and well equipped. The beach is right across the road from the hotel. They have their own sun beds, cost 3 euros a day or free if you buy a drink. The pool was very inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The effective sound proofing meant no noise apart from the sussuration of the waves. We slept really well. The showers are great too. The hotel is ideally placed, a few minutes walk to some great restaurants and bars, but far enough away to be quiet at night. Eric's recommendations for eating and places to visit were great. We haven't stayed anywhere we enjoyed as much as Sitia Bay for a long time. We would love to return. We cannot think of a single thing that could be improved.

• Младенова (10/5): Exceptional - On the beach itself. Sea View. Exceptional staff, with attitude and attention to guests. Very clean. The center is a minute's walk away. Very quiet and cozy hotel. We arrived by bus much earlier at 10.30am. As soon as there was a free room, they accommodated us immediately without making us wait until 2:00 p.m. I would gladly return to this hotel. Really professional and above all friendly and humane attitude towards hotel guests.

Great location by beach and easy walk to restaurants. Good breakfast pleasantly served. If staying longer - we only stayed two nights - we would prefer a slightly lighter room.

• Janice (10/5): Best Hotel in Sitia - Sitia Bay can not be faulted in any way. Exceptionally clean, beautifully presented. Owner run and managed and taking great pride in what they offer. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and snax offering. Serviced beach beds as well as an immaculate pool area. So many added extras in the rooms which have full self catering facilities with high quality fitments. It is the best place to stay in Sitia for a wonderful break. Book early so you are not disappointed. Nothing at all
