Carolyn nahm sich Zeit und führte uns durch das Hotel! Ihre liebe und hilfsbereite Art gab uns das Gefühl "Daheim" zu sein. Bei ihr merkt man, dass ihre Arbeit ihre Berufung ist! Liebe Carolyn, vielen lieben DANK für alles! Eine perfekte Chefin und das gesamte nette Personal machten für uns den Aufenthalt perfekt! Die Lage und die Ausstattung des Hotels sind Top! Das Frühstücksbuffet gab alles, was das Herz begehrt! Auf Wunsch werden auch Spiegeleier und Omelett frisch zu bereitet! Besonders nennenswert ist das frische leckere Schwarzbrot! Mit Jokercard war der Urlaub perfekt! Wir können das Boutique-Hotel Bauer nur empfehlen!

- Bernard (9/5): Excellent hotel in the centre of Saalbach - Comfortable room with balcony, mountain view and nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast; the bread rolls are the absolute best. The staff are all friendly and helpful. A la carte restaurant is fine but other dining options are available nearby. If you have a car it's worth checking how you can access the hotel and parking. The hotel is in a pedestrian precinct with bollards that aren't shown on satnav! The decor may not suit everyone. It's definitely traditional old style rather than modern.

The atmosphere is unlike anything we’ve experienced – cozy, inviting, and full of character. We opted for the upper room with two sides of windows, and it was pure magic. The views of the snowy rooftops and ski slopes were stunning, and the best part was being able to watch the action right from our bed. It truly felt like a winter wonderland. The food was absolutely outstanding! Every dish is a delightful blend of flavors, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A true culinary experience that elevates the stay. The bathroom was spacious and charming, with a small window. The heated floors were such a thoughtful touch, especially during the cold days—it made the area feel extra warm and cozy. The spa, though small, was well equipped and had such a peaceful vibe. Everything in the hotel was well-organized, clean, and clearly cared for. You could tell the team took pride in making it a perfect home away from home for their guests. And speaking of the team—they were exceptional. The vibe in the hotel felt like one big family. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. The ski rental shop is just around the corner, and the slopes are only a six-minute walk away, even with full gear. The village itself is adorable, and the other guests staying at the hotel were just as pleasant, making the whole experience even better. We truly can't wait to come back! Boutique-Hotel Bauer is a hidden gem that offers more than just a place to stay—it offers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend! We really loved the whole place, but we would like to suggest to have a hot tub with full neck and back hydromassage.

- Julian (9/5): Ideal hotel for skiing in Saalbach where you can walk to the lifts and enjoy great dinners - Centrally located and the hotel will valet park your car. Ski hire next door. Three ski lifts within five minutes walk. The dinner package was brilliant and I recommend - salad, starter, soup, main, dessert, cheese, all beautifully presented, varied, tasty and good value. Nice not to have to think or go out in the evening after skiing. Sauna area very nice. Comfy lounge / bar area. Nothing serious. Bathroom was a bit cluttered and short of space. Busy at Christmas so staff were a bit stretched at times.

- Dylan (9/5): Friendly and comfortable - Staff were friendly, beds super comfortable, centrally located in Saalbach and you get the Joker card. The joker card gives you several benefits of which the best part is the 3 free rides on the cable cars per person per day. The facilities like pool and sauna which are nice close at 8pm. After a long day out in the mountains you want to eat and then it is too late to enjoy the facilities. It’s not a major issue, just the only negative aspect of my stay.
