Short drive to Los Alcazares beach and many more restaurants. Crazy golf, paddle, tennis and swimming on site. Kids loved the pool and the views were good too.

- Roger (6/5): Kall lägenhet vintertid - Lägenheten i sig var väldigt trevlig men den var otrolig kall trots högsta värmen på luftaggregatet. Vidare gick det inte att få varmvatten i handfatet på toaletten. Trevligt område förutom att väldigt många rastade sina hundar utan att plocka upp bajset efter sig och man fick se upp var man satte fötterna.

Zumo de maquina, café muy malo, fiambres de muy muy baja calidad, etc. Tienen que mejorar muchas cosas para llegar a 4*. Fatal el zumo de naranja y el agua de maquina. NO ESTÁ A LA ALTURA, NI DE LEJOS.

- Maribel (10/5): - Muy bonito el Resort. Si quieres desconectar y relajarte es perfecto. Ideal para parejas y familias que busquen todas las comodidades y tranquilidad.
- Chantal Melanie (10/5): - Mar menor is een groot complex met een hotel, appartementen en koophuizen. Er zijn allerlei faciliteiten zoals een sportclub tegen betaling waar je kan zwemmen, padellen, midgetgolf en fitnessen. Je kan daar ook lunchen of een drankje doen. Wij hadden een appartement gehuurd en die was ruim, met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. De keuken was volledig ingericht met een kookplaat, oven, toaster, waterkoker, koelkast met diepvriesvak en een wasmachine. Heel ruim balkon met tafel en stoelen en een wasrek. Bij elke 4 appartementen had je een zwembad, groot genoeg en goed onderhouden met ligbedden. Op het complex is een spar, was wel even een stukje rijden of 15 min lopen want het is echt een groot complex. En voor de grote boodschappen had je ook een Lidl in de buurt. Naast het complex heb je een straat met allemaal restaurants en cafés, bij café rewind serveren ze heerlijke cocktails voor 7 euro. Verder is er in de omgeving genoeg te beleven, aanrader is Cartagena het gebied bij de haven…supergezellig, Murcia, Orihuela Torrevieja en la manga.
- Jose Carlos (6/5): - Apartamento amplio, urbanización vigilada y muy bien comunicada para acceder a la playa en pocos minutos. El personal de la recepción es muy amable aunque se nota que falta personal porque hay que llamar varias veces para que respondan al teléfono. Como puntos a mejorar: la identificación de los apartamentos debe mejorar para poder encontrarlo más fácilmente, el mantenimiento del apartamento, ya que el manillar de la puerta de la terraza estaba roto. Tampoco había gel de baño en contra de lo que nos habían asegurado al contactar la primera vez.

- Craig (8/5): Great Apartments - Great ground floor 1 bed apartment, ive stayed at various different parts of the residences and they have all been fine. A few problems this time with no bin bags or cleaning cloths so had to buy them at the Spar in resort, apart from that everything A ok.

We paid for entry into the spa and half of things were not working, like the steam room, ice fountain, very few things in the spa for the fee we paid. Indoor pool not very warm, no hair dryer. The only is the resort which is lovely.

- Jo (10/5): Great overnight at a convenient and secure spot - We needed a stop on our drive from Barcelona to Granada and I knew we wouldn't have time to be tourists, so went for convenience and comfort instead. This was around 500kms in the day. We loved the gated community, and the pool for each block of apartments. We had a spacious 1 Bedroom, although our particular apartment was fairly tired. Broken tiles, and scraped walls, but purely cosmetic. It was very clean throughout, and had everything we needed to throw together dinner and breakfast. We left fairly early to complete the next 250 k's of our journey, but reception was staffed both late evening and early morning. I'd happily stay here for a longer relax/holiday with kids/golf trip, but would enquire about the specific apartment I would be in. The Spar was open until 9pm and 3 restaurants were open in the off season, so pretty easy to chill at the resort.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a difficult one. On the one hand the accommodation is nicely presented and the grounds are very nice. Unfortunately, the service isn't what I was hoping for. During a 10 day stay we didn't have towels or linen changed once. We requested bath towels and were given hand towels. If you're looking to do any cooking at the apartment you will be limited by a lack of pots pans etc. The electricity circuit board would trip repeatedly if the hob was on and worryingly the smoke alarm had been taken off the ceiling. A few small changes could make such a huge difference. We enjoyed our stay but we just felt a little short changed. Unless you're planning on staying on site all your break, you will need a car. All told it wasn't bad...it just wasnt great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The properties are large and have plenty of room. They are spotlessly clean and well maintained. They are well equipped and any problems are given immediate attention. Since our last visit there has been the addition of traffic calming measures which have been oversealously installed.
- Steve (10/5): Good stay. - Good apartment, we enjoyed the stay. Cooked at home. Plenty of places around to visit. Well equipped, and nice terrace to sit on in the evenings. Lift to the apartment so good for disabled. Comfy bed. Good bathroom.
- Alison (10/5): Mar Menor Golf Resort - Excellent apartments nice resort but transport is needed to get around there's not much on the resort other than a spa for shopping.
- ZANY ESTAEL (10/5): Fabulous - This is a golf resort, consisting of an Intercontinental hotel, apartments managed by the hotel (where we stayed) and private houses and apartments. There are several apartment blocks, each with a swimming pool and large green area, overlooking the golf courses. The apartments are large with a full kitchen and a balcony. We were in 3 adults and a baby and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment during check in, which was great. The complex has Spa, pools, various bars and restaurants, playgrounds, and is great for a family weekend with children. We'd certainly return.
- K (4/5): Disappointing - There are 5 Restaraunts on the complex, within 7 days we had one night where we could not eat st all on the complex because everywhere was booked up, one night we were forced to eat in the worst of the 5 restaraunts as all the others were booked up, and noticed on 3 occasions the people behind us, largest group being a party of 3, were also turned away. The food is not 5* food, the pool was full of bark off the trees and hadn’t been cleaned since December if we were to pay attention to the sign, we had to move furniture around to ensure the sofa bed unfolded, and then still had less than space for legs to walk around it, the “pint” of beer served at the club house is not a pint if taken to the pool side as the plastic cups they provide are too small, yet they cost the same as a pint in the correct size glass, staff were not rude but also not pleasant, one evening we waited two hours for our food at the Italian Restaraunt and when it came it genuinely was only just warm, nearly fully cold. It got sent back and the waiter then argued that the pork was not cold, until I made him touch it and offered him to eat it, then he replaced it. The spar is the only shop on the huge complex, with a fair distance walk to it. Overall not a place for a family, or even a couple looking for a nice romantic break, golfers I would imagine would enjoy it- if you are not a golf enthusiast, I wouldn’t bother.
- Verified traveler (10/5): combine luxury with economy - location is quite out of the way. the accomodations are very good, coupled with a credible breakfast. All in all,for the money you can have no complaints.Correct that you don't have access to the fancy Intercontinental facilities for free, but we had a one bedroom for really cheap. Clean, comfortable,, and even a laundry in the apt. for free. We had a good Indian meal at one of thenear site restaurants. It was a little challenging to find restaurants in Torre-Pacheco. There is a good onsite small supermarket.

- gary (8/5): Great apartment - Apartment was lovely and the surrounding areas were kept so clean. The staff in the restaurants though were the problem. You had to ask and then wait along time for service, and every time it came to the bill something would always of been added that you didn't have. A constant battle with the waiters was a massive problem. Also if you stay in an apartment you are not allowed to use the main hotel pool, this is not made clear until you are made an example of in front of all to see.
