• Scott (10/5): - A reasonably priced hotel near the center of Fira. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming! There was a pool, which was nice. The rooms were large and clean and had a balcony, instant coffee/tea, AC, a fridge, and a safe box. The bathroom might have been improved by a higher ledge between the shower area and the floor, and installing a small espresso machine in the lobby would be nice for those of us who don’t love instant coffee. Overall, highly recommended if you’re looking for a good, solid place to stay which will not break the bank.

• Dominique (8/5): Bon choix, sans chichis. - Contrairement à ce que les photos peuvent laisser penser, la villa Koronios n'est pas dans un no man's land. Elle se trouve à la lisière du centre de Thira, de l'autre côté d'un grand parking. Cette situation est parfaite car, tout en étant tout près du centre ville à pied (env. 4 mn), on est isolé du bruit généré par la circulation, les bars, etc. La piscine est plutôt grande et très propre. Les chambres sont simples mais très correctes. Nous avions une petite terrasse donnant sur la campagne et la mer. C'est simple mais tout à fait correct. Salle de bains moderne. Suffisamment de prises pour les chargeurs. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas assuré en cette fin de septembre. Dommage, car la salle de petit déj. est sympathique, et on peut en saison le prendre en terrasse, au bord de la piscine.

• Keith (10/5): Pleasant stay. - Our stay was very nice. The room was clean and had a nice balcony to sit. The pool was great as was all of the seats and lounge chairs around the pool. Maria was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

• Aleksander (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome at Villa Koronios and the staff always asked how we were and if we needed help with anything. The room was clean when we arrived and cleaned every day during our stay. The hotel’s location is good with short walking distance to the centre of Fira but you have to walk through roads with a lot of traffic and no sidewalks to get there.

L'unica cosa negativa che abbiamo rilevato sono le tende nella doccia. Per quanto si faccia attenzione l'acqua si espande nel bagno.

It's close to the bus station but I would warn that it can be a bit treacherous to walk on the road to the hotel since there's no sidewalk and a lot of fast and busy traffic. The hotel itself was clean and quiet though there does seem to be some challenges with the sewage which I think is the same throughout the island. Check-in and check-out was easy and the breakfast was nice to have in the morning to avoid the expensive prices on Santorini in comparison to the rest of Greece.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 주인이 친절하고 쉬어가기 좋습니다. 청결은 조금 아쉽습이더. - 위치는 피라에서 가까워요. 한 10분 정도 그런데 가는 길이 인도가 없는 그냥 길인데 버스와 차가 다녀서 옆으로 걸어갈때 조금 불편했어요. 방은 깔끔했고 음식을 해 먹을 수 있는 식기들이 있었어요. 수영장도 있고 그 옆에 쉬는 곳들도 있어서 휴식하기도 좋아요. 청결은 보통이지만 이불에 무언가 묻어 있긴하더라구요. 주인분은 매우 친절하세요. 아 실내화나 칫솔 치약은 없어요. 유럽은 다 그런건지 여기만 없는건지는 모르겠지만 확인하고 가져오세요.
• Tayla (10/5): Fantastic hotel - We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner is so kind and friendly and welcoming and the breakfast every morning was delicious. The pool area was really nice and clean with lots of seats and we spent a lot of time relaxing here. The room is really clean and our bathroom was really big! It's in a quiet area which is actually so nice to escape the busy town - it's only a 10 min walk to Thira. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Santorini and will definitely be back!

Owner could not have been more helpful, and allowed us to leave our luggage all day, and then change, before a very late flight home. When we set of for a few days on another island on a 7:30am ferry she provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us. Amazing.

Villa Koronios is a short walk away from the bus stop: We were glad not to be in the center of town as it was quite crowded.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Santorini easy living! - Within walking distance to Thira, bus and taxi stations. 1.8 euro to Oia every half hour, a no brainer View of the Mediterranean, pool, and vineyards. Wonderful home baked goodies for breakfast. Room's cleaned daily. Family owned and operated. Friendly and knowledgeable. Make reservations for cruises and tours from front desk. Inexpensive. We're going to stay here again when we return.

• Teodora (10/5): - I will first start by saying that Maria (the host and owner) is absolutely wonderful! She is genuinely nice and caring and really tries to accommodate her guests - making special coffee requests, arranging for transport, tickets to attractions or giving suggestions for sight seeing. The property is not a 5 start hotel, but nevertheless, very nice, homey/cozy and very clean. We had the 3 single beds room, which was rather small. But we didn’t care as not much awake time was spent in the room. The beds were ok. My kids complained about the pillows being uncomfortable but I always bring my own. Our balcony view was overlooking the sea (east) and was stunning. Supposedly, the sunrise was gorgeous to see from there as well, but I missed it. The pool/back yard were lovely and very relaxing. It made for a great way to spend the few super hot hours in August to cool off. I really enjoyed the breakfast - although modest and only cold items, it helped to tie us over until lunch, so we didn’t have to rush to find something to eat right away. The property itself was very nice and although off the beaten path (thus the good price we paid), it was a short walk (less than 10 min but uphill) from the main bus station and the caldera shops/view). We were very happy with our stay at Villa Koronios and will definitely consider coming back! Thank you Maria.

• Natalie (10/5): Highly recommended, lovely location - What a really lovely place Villa Koronios is! I was picked up at Santorini airport by a driver for just 15e and arrived late at night. In the morning Maria checked me in and I was grateful for her help many a time during my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned every day, and the breakfast buffet was lovely and can be eaten outside gazing at the lovely sea view. Just a short walk away is Fira and the bus station which can take you many locations on Santorini for just 1.80e each way. I would highly recommend Villa Koronios!

She gave recommendation on what to visit and where to go. The room had a balcony with an amazing view. The breakfast was very good: boiled eggs, salami, cheese, baked goods, mini croissants, stuffed grape leaves, cakes and much more. The room had a small fridge which was very useful. The only con was that the bathroom shower curtain didn't really prevent any water from splashing out. We loved our stay.

• rachel (10/5): Beautiful hotel with lovely staff - The hotel was located within walking distance to the center of Fira and the bus station. The hotel was clean and we loved the refreshing pool! The free breakfast was a huge bonus for us and the staff was extremely kind. The owner gave us multiple recommendations during our stay and even drove us to the airport free of charge! We loved it here and hope to return!
• Phillip (10/5): Friendly and comfortable - We were picked up from the airport without any trouble. Check in was a breeze and the room was perfect. Rainfall shower, nice view, comfortable bed etc. The pool was a perfect temperature and crystal clear.breakfast surprised us with a full selection of meats, cheeses, breads and most importantly, greek yogurt. Although on a map it looks sort of far from things, the hotel was a very short walk to Fira and most importantly themain hub bus station on the island which takes you everywhere for around 2€ (july 2016).
