• Pamela (8/5): Great location and has all you need - Location amazing, telly not on the wall, roomy, all facilities I need There were even ear plugs. There was a lift. Only 6 apartments. I was there during the week so the music venue nearby finished at 11pm so not bad but it is quite loud so maybe on weekend with it later might be a problem. There are ear plugs supplied. The grout in the shower quite moody. Needs a good clean I was in apartment 5.
• Catherine (8/5): Chinatown and bustling melbourne at your doorstep. - The location is right in downtown China Town. Services, food, facilities all within 100m. Whilst it is located down a lane, which is a bit dark late at night, the entry was very secure. Management were very helpful when I noticed we didn't have enough cutlery and wine glasses. There can be a decent amount of noise from the bar nearby late at night. Loud music and people noise, but as I work late it didn't impact on me. And when you close the blinds and bathroom door it blocked out the bulk of the noise. They provide earplugs which was very thoughtful.

• Breanne (7/5): Central location but tired apartment - The property owners were very communicative on how to access the room. It was a really central location in Chinatown with a lot of nice places to eat near by for a low cost. I appreciate that the property owners provided earplugs, as it is a noisy location, but that is to be expected in the middle of the CBD. The rooms were comfortable enough and all the amenities were there. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The bathroom had mould in the shower tiles and in the soap dish (possibly it is not thoroughly cleaned regularly enough). The bathroom sink has a huge crack in the basin which is a safety risk. The smoke alarm was missing - another safety risk. The decorative bedroom pillows all had old stains on them. There was nowhere to comfortably eat a meal, which is probably why the lounge was incredibly stained as well. The floor boards in front of the bathroom looked water damaged and sometimes there was a slight bathroom smell, unsure if it was from the apartment or the lane way. Hopefully the owners can give the rooms a freshen up and better soundproofing in the future. In the short term they should find a better cleaner. I would have expected the place to be more well kept for the price we paid.

We punched in the code several times, over and over before it opened. We thought we were going to have to call the owner. But thankfully it opened eventually. And that the windows didn't shut completely, so was extea noisy. But that was to be expected

• Madeline (10/5): Great value & location! - The owner/host was extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions regarding parking, wifi and how to access the apartment. The location is perfect with the apartment being central to shops, food and transport. I would definitely stay again.

• Hyun Soon (6/5): - The location was excellent The noise outside continued until early morning. The room was not soundproof, and the windows did not close properly. Although earbuds(!) were provided, the noise significantly disturbed sleep. The kitchen equipment was also poor for cooking.

For $150 it was really great and will be my go to stay in Melbourne and my recommendation to anyone else. A bit of a hum from AC units on buildings across the street, but you tune that out over time.

• T (8/5): - The location was perfect, It was clean, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. I didn't meet any staff but they did communicate the instructions on how to access the room. Was only a two minute walk to Chinatown and the venue we were attending. I didn't like that it was advertised as a pay when you get there but then they said i wouldn't get check in instructions until I payed and I didn't realise it was no refund property as I would have cancelled because of that fact. And I didn't like being disturbed several times in the night and early morning from people in the alleyway using the bins as drums..

Very happy with the accommodation and communication. Clean and comfy and great location, close to everything we needed. They even gave us a late check out when we asked late at night. Would highly recommend! There wasn't anything we didn't like. Very happy with everything 😊

Perfect for a longer stay, especially with the option to cook your own meals. Great location near Chinatown and right in the city centre, which was very convenient. • Nicholas (10/5): A great stay with great stay in a convenient area - We were incredibly pleased with our stay. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and also held on to our luggage as we were early and placed it in the room for us until it was ready. Also the little tray of goodies was greatly appreciated. The apartment was really nicely laid out. Looked inviting and cozy and had all the facilities one would expect for an apartment. The main bedroom was very spacious too. I would book here again if I needed to stay in the city. Only one issue which didn’t necessarily impede on our stay but the door to our apartment which was a smart door was a bit cumbersome at times. We needed to hold it at the right angle after inputting the code to allow it to unlock otherwise it wouldn’t open after entering the code.

• John (4/5): Very disappointed with our stay let alone the price was at a premium. - Comfortable bed It was nothing like the photos on Booking.com. The property is in a back alley in China Town with the only contact with reception via mobile phone. There was a homeless person sleeping in the alley at the entrance door. We didn’t feel safe coming and going (day or night). The bathroom basin was cracked; they provided ear plugs to reduce the noise from the adjacent air-con plants. Dusty, dirty and mouldy with cracked tiles in the shower.

Just a few steps to The Boiling Crab in front of the apartment, so if you have full belly after eating there then you will have no worry of walking back. Location near multiple Chemist Warehouse. Nearby tram stop. There are at least 2 grocery stores nearby, perfect to grab something while walking to/from apartment. Nothing in particular

The damage to the floor near bathroom and doors patched poorly in bedroom. Dirty marks across walls and doors. Dust along the bed head. Clunky elevator. Couch stained. Knife blocked rotted, broken and mouldy. Mattresses sinking. Won’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend, way overpriced for how unmaintained and unclean it was.

• Robert (5/5): Good for max 2 people or family with younger kids. - Location to restaurants and shopping Very small apartment compared to other 2 bed places. No air con in 2nd bedroom which was unfortunate as we had a 45 degree day. Shower space didn’t have any shelf to put soap etc and mould was showing in the tiles.
• Kita95 (6/5): Comfortable stay within walking distance to everything. - Super easy check in & great communication with the owners. So close to the CBD and plenty of parking options. Although there is a bar/club right below it, the sound is very minimal which is great with the 1 & 3 yo we travelled with! Super comfy beds & all the facilities you need to cook/store food. It was a bit dated, the apartment could do with a freshen up/paint and maybe upgrade of the bathroom. Lounge space is quite limited, with no dining table, so with a pram and 2 small children it wasn’t ideal. Had a little bit of a smell but not awful.

The surrounding bars were pumping on Friday night and slightly less loud on Saturday night. This is fine for young people who want to be out till 1am, but not for families. We were all exhausted beyond our arrival day. It ruined Melbourne for us.

• Lynne (9/5): Great location and great staff, would stay again - The person we dealt was extremely helpful. They got back to us quickly and kept us informed re any issues. They were very accommodating with our additional requests. Great location and easy check in and check out. The lift was out of order on one evening so we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. In saying this we understand these things happen and it was fixed quite quickly and again we were kept informed.

• Karen (10/5): Fantastic apartment in great location. Highly recommend. - This apartment was fantastic. Had eveything we needed. We stayed over a couple of very hot days (38 and 41 degrees) and air conditioning was excellent, the apartment has two. The apartment was very clean and catered for all our needs. The location is amazing. Just off China town and within walking distance of all the theatres, which was our main reason for travelling. Security for the room and building was exceptional and we felt very safe. Our host was amazing. We had to make a very last minute booking and they went out of there way to make sure our room was ready to go and keycard available within half an hour, which we very much appreciated as we were racing against the clock to find new accomodation, as the one we originally booked was disgraceful. Overall a fantastic place, excellent location, very secure, excellent host and amazing communication. We would highly recommend and will look to book again for our next trip to Melbourne.
