Bathroom good , coffee machine great ( could have done with pods for next days stay ). Room 9 noisy from around 530 am ( think it was fans on roof or staff doing breakfast . Should really give all occupants keys each as guests sometimes need to come and go o do usually . A bit pricey but that’s probs booking . Com s, cut contact direct .

• Beck (6/5): Belle Livingston's Club! - Comfy bed with good pillows and a tasty breakfast No natural light or air in the rooms, really hard to do make up as no mirrors you can get up close to and awful lighting. Not good if you have booked it to go to belle Livingstons club and want to look great!

We couldn't open the blind to get some daylight in. Odd number of coffee pods for a couple! (3) Bathroom grouting a little grubby.

• El Arabi (10/5): Enjoyable stay - We enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was open all day, allowing us to have a lovely late lunch when we checked in. The breakfast was very nice and generous and the room was clean. Almost all of the amenities needed are present. A hand soap would be appreciated by the sink in the bathroom.
• Martin (10/5): Great short stay in London - Great little couple of nights stop, short walk to train station and very close to 58th Street jazz club which we had come specially to attend. Owner was wonderful and so friendly. Stairs to get to room, but it is a very old pub so you have to expect it! Didn’t stop wife complaining when she had to climb them in high heels!!!!

The only problem was that it was on the second floor and my wife is disabled and had difficulty managing the stairs. The staff - especially a gentlemen call (I think) Craig were extremely helpful. Nothing to complain about, apart from the fact - and this is not really a criticism, the premises are clearly old, there was no lift.

I appreciate it’s in London and prices are higher, but felt it was basic, just the bare essentials. Clean and tidy, I had to de scale the shower head to get a flow of water. Staff were lovely.

• Helen (5/5): Ok, not sure I’d stay again - Nice shower and nice and close to Peckham Rye station The room was dated and had a number of obvious issues with how it looked. You’re on a main road, and the windows are single glazed so you hear everything. You’re also above the pub, with music playing until close and that music being easily heard from the room.

• Lubosh (10/5): An unexpected gem - We were so happy with our stay here! The location was excellent for everything we wanted to get to. It was really clean and Cormac was so welcoming. We had a good night's sleep and it wasn't noisy at all. It had everything we needed and was exactly as advertised. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hall way and stairs were tired and a little old looking, carpet needs replacing in the room and radiators had paint peeling off along with a bit on the walls and ceiling

Informative and friendly staff and good food standard. No fault of the staff but, Bathroom has no place to put personal items and the sink/ water tap combination is unworkable as the water ends up in the back corner floor. Also a little rearrangement of the room furniture is needed.
