• Vladyslav (8/5): - Great beach, direct access to the beach from the hotel (other hotels are separated from the beach by a road), unusual room design. Restaurant and bar are not cheap, but in line with other restaurants on the beach. The quality of food and drinks was good. The location is make or break. This hotel is far from other hotels, restaurants, and shops. If you prefer a secluded location and don't mind eating in one restaurant, this will work great. Otherwise, you will have to walk around 10 mins on the beach to reach other places. Many rooms do not have a view of the sea.
• John (10/5): Amazing but of a night coming back a long the beach with no lights felt a little unsafe - Facilities were excellent, so were the staff. Most amazing was that the property is right on the beach and that sun lounges are right on the beach too. It was heavenly. Just loved it. Thank you also to Eddie and Chris who made breakfast terrific. The property is off the beaten track. You need a car. We didn’t have a car so to go to restaurants in the area we had to walk a long the beach. The issue was coming back. No lights at night a long the beach that made me feel a little unsafe.

• Mike & Lisa Fox (10/5): Top notch choice! - All this staff was excellent, friendly, and very helpful. So much so, we extended our stay three additional days. Car rental is highly suggested as taxis are ludicrous! The hotel actually set that up too and they even brought the car to the hotel.

• GIANVITO (9/5): Relax e mare in una fantastica isola - Luogo unico a Naxos, una delle poche strutture con la spiaggia privata a due passi dalle camere. Il resort non è vicinissimo a Nasso(centro città), ma con mia mia moglie noleggiando il quad abbiamo raggiunto con comodità la struttura anche di sera tardi. La tranquillità della struttura immersa nel verde è vicino al mare la rende come una vacanza unica e piena di relax. Davvero soddisfatti! Pulizia ok, ci hanno rifatto il letto ogni giorno e cambiato asciugamani per il bagno e per la spiaggia. Colazione variegata, all’aperto pronti per andare a mare. • VASILIKI (9/5): Faboulous experience - clean - friendly staff- right on the beach - Clean, well kept and very friendly staff. The beach area and sun beds were also great. Balcony was also nice and relaxing. Right on the beach so it was great to have such easy access. I also appreciated that the room was cleaned nicely every morning! I didn’t like the fact that you needed to pay extra for the omelette or to get a cold coffee at breakfast when breakfast was included in the price. Even though my room was great, in the morning around 8am the sun would come into the room right at the bedside from the one little window next to the bathroom above the sink. It would have been great if there was a little blind or something like that. Other than these two things everything was great!

Lors de notre arrivée le réceptionniste nous annonce que nous sommes( surclassé). Plutôt agréable Maison très grande avec Jacuzzi sur le toit très grande salle de bain très agréable. Le jour d'après, ils nous ont changé de logement soi disant pour une suite. Précision que nous avons perdu notre matinée suite au changement de chambre. A notre grande découverte cette fameuse suite qui n'en était pas une est une chambre beaucoup plus petite avec vue sur un parking, odeur de canalisation dans la salle de bain et surtout qui n'est pas du tout la chambre que nous avons loué sur booking. Précision que nous avons été déplacé au fond du complexe dans l ancien partie du complexe. Après réclamation auprès du réceptionniste qui nous envoie être désolé aucune geste commercial. Concernant le petit déjeuner compris si vous prenez en plus, les suppléments seront payant méfiance. ( Oeuf brouillé) En résumé l'hôtel l emplacement les piscines le bar sont top GROS DÉFAUT l overBooking que pratique l'hôtel qui déplace les voyageurs à leurs guise.
• Jenna (9/5): - This secluded spot was a perfect retreat for a few days of total relaxation. The pool and beach are accessed through beautifully maintained gardens. There are plenty of sun loungers and areas to enjoy both the pool and beach. Food in the restaurant for the evenings was excellent, with some great local wines. The beach bar perfect for a snack at lunchtime. The cocktails were a particular highlight! The staff are delightful and charming. Breakfast a little slow and disjointed but did not bother us.
• sofia (9/5): Couldn't be happier with the place - A hidden jewel in Naxos, a tasteful boutique hotel, offerring a private beach and small pool near by. We had a lovely time with our son and brought our medium sized dog along. The staff were all great and made you feel like home. The room spacious and even though we had booked a deluxe double room, once they saw that we were travelling with our son they upgraded us to a much larger room. The breakfast was great and although 3-4 items on the menu are with added charge, we felt that the offered choices were more than enough. We really hated leaving and look forward to next year. Must visit!

Atmosfera veramente rilassante, ottima per una vacanza estiva anche in famiglia. Colazione di ottima qualità ma avremmo preferito maggiore scelta e un all inclusive, in quanto molte alternative (tra cui anche L’Espresso) erano a pagamento, non incluse nella quota base.

• Alysa (10/5): Beach, pool, pool bar - what more could you ask for! - I couldn't have asked for a better location - beach, lounges, pool! Amazing!! The new rooms were a bit far and clearly still in progress, but everything else outweighs that. The breakfast food and time availability was great, the servers learned our order and it was great! I can't wait to go back! I wish our villa was closer, but really in the end it wasn't that far. They were working on a bridge to bring the two areas together which was completed by the time we left. Appreciated the expansion and facilities.

Tout était super pour un séjour de repos et de tranquillité. L'hôtel est très beau et accueillant. Petit-déjeuner à la carte de qualité, peu diversifié (sauf à rajouter un supplément de prix), mais suffisant. Je recommande. L'hôtel est très éloigné des centres d'intérêts, il faut prévoir 40 euros pour un aller jusqu'au centre-ville. La literie était très dure, mais un sur-matelas nous a été fourni. Le ménage n'a pas été fait une seule fois pendant notre séjour (seulement remplacement des serviettes et lit refait). Le restaurant est très bon mais attention aux prix et au manque de diversité, de même pour les prix des boissons assez excessives pour la Grèce.
• Bridget (9/5): A wonderful place to chill out and get away from the world. - The location is perfect with a lovely garden leading to a gorgeous pool and the beach. There are ample sun beds with places to sit in the sun or shade, and a bar. Fabulous staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurants accessible via the beach, which is long and sandy. Wonderful sunsets. Our room with a balcony overlooking the garden was very comfortable with plenty of storage space - important as we stayed for a week. It’s important to be aware that the bus from Naxos town stops a 15 minute walk along the beach. It’s about a 2km walk by road if you arrive by bus with your suitcases, as we did. Without suitcases it’s a pleasant walk on the sand. The restaurant had a limited menu, but the cheerfulness of the staff made up for the occasional disappointing dish. The menu was changed the day we left.

• Vicente (2/5): Bad experience - The beach If you’ve ever dreamed of sleeping inside a ship’s engine room, look no further than Room 206. Right above the bed, there’s a charming industrial extractor fan that kicks in like a Boeing 747 every mealtime: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s a magical alarm clock you never asked for – forget about sleeping in, napping, or even thinking in peace. I reported the issue twice. Apparently, that was adorable of me. No room change, no apology, no attempt to fix anything. Just a “thanks for your feedback” and the gentle hum of jet engines above my head. Then there’s the fact that the entire team that works there stays in that building (by the way, 24 hours a day without a break; I’ve seen it in 5 days). And while I understand they have their free time (not many), it’s next to that room, so you can also hear their conversations, along with all that entails. Photo. As for breakfast, others have already described it accurately. I won’t pile on – but they’re not exaggerating. And the bar? Technically exists, though no one uses it. I assume it’s part of a social experiment on pricing psychology. 📹 I’ve attached videos but i can’t📸 I took photos. Not because I’m dramatic (well, maybe a little), but because it’s genuinely that bad. Bottom line: I wouldn’t go back even if they paid me. Unless, of course, I develop a deep nostalgia for engine noise and insomnia.

• Guest (1/5): - This was the most traumatic experience ever! This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. It’s maximum 1 star. Everything was broken, rusty, this property was never renovated and was dirty. The staff was rude especially the manager Sofia that was hiding in a hotel room when we expressed concerns. Very unprofesssional behavior which shows inexperience.Pictures on the website are misleading definitely does not reflect the truth. Sunbeds limited definitely no chance reserving one. We had to wait 3 hours to get breakfast and nothing was included in the price we had to pay extra. We had to leave the hotel after 1 day and we never got reimbursed. Most traumatic experience ever for me and my family!stay away!

Management seemed to be still working out the kinks when the resort was busy. Staff did great but seemed understaffed and could have used more help. Rules around reserving or not reserving umbrellas were unclear.

• Marion (7/5): War OK, würden wir aber nicht empfehlen - ohne Auto bist du aufgeschmissen - Der Strand war ein Traum, ruhig in erster Lage, der Beach-Bar Bereich war auch klasse. Das Abendessen war spitze!!! Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut, man muss sie aber die ganze Nacht laufen lassen, ansonsten geht es sehr schnell heiß durch die Wände/Fenster Das Frühstück war ehrlich gesagt mager, man konnte sich immer nur Rührei mit Speck bestellen, alles andere war ein Aufpreis, das fand ich schon sehr frech. Es gab auch nur 2 Tage lang Kaffee, die restlichen Tage war die Maschine kaputt - man hätte die an der Strandbar benutzen können, das war dem Servicepersonal beim Frühstück zu weit - das Personal war beim Frühstück zu zweit für 7 Tische und war sehr überfordert - schmutzige unaufgeräumte Tische, man hatte kein Besteck, kein Teller.... Naja, das Abendessen/Mittagessen war spitze. Fliegenplage war enorm!! Lästig bei jeder Mahlzeit und auch an der Bar. Das Resort an sich ist ab der Rezeption bis zum Strand TOP, die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig und passen nicht zu dem Flair das das Resort gerne vermitteln möchte. mehr als unterer Standard kann man das nicht nennen. Nun kommen wir zur Anreise -- die Straße zum Hotel ist ein Witz, ein jeder Agrarweg in Österreich ist eine Autobahn dagegen -- man glaubt nicht, dass man richtig ist bis man vor dem Hotel steht. Fußweit kann man nichts erreichen. Ein Stück höher den Strand ist es von der Lage her weit besser.
• Małgorzata (8/5): Bajeczny ogród nad brzegiem morza - Piękny, duży ogród, ładna architektura domków, bardzo dobre jedzenie w restauracji, przyjazny i uprzejmy personel, spory basen, czystość. Niektóre pokoje znajdują się poza głównym terenem ośrodka i ogrodem, który jest tu niewątpliwie jedną z podstawowych atrakcji, o czym brak informacji w ofercie. Warto dopytać przed rezerwacją, żeby zamiast ogrodu nie mieć przed oknami placu pobliskiej budowy.

• Elke (3/5): Alles in allem eine schlechte Erfahrung und nach mindestens 20 Naxos Urlauben sehr traurig .... - Die direkte Lage am Strand und der extrem nette afrikanische Kellner beim Frühstück der mit seiner Lebensfreude alle Menschen dort verzaubert. Dieser Mann rettet mit seiner guten Laune einiges, was man vom restlichen Hotel nicht behaupten kann ..... Medusa hat uns ein Deluxe Zimmer auf booking com verkauft, direkt nach der Buchung erhält man dann eine Art Möglichkeit ein Preisangebot für ein Upgrade Zimmer zu bieten. Das sogenannte Deluxezimmer hätte die Dusche direkt neben dem Bett :( wir haben dann bei Ankunft ein Aufpreis von 200€ Euro auf unseren Preis gezahlt um ein Dreibettzimmer zu erhalten, das zwar im Neubau lag, der umgeben ist von einer Wüstenlandschaft (siehe Fotos). In diesem Zimmer gab es keinen Safeschlüssel dieser war verloren, keine Fernbedienung für den Fernseher, alles extrem enttäuschend.Das Bad ist war trotz Neubau unfassbar klein und hässlich. Der kleine Balkon hatte keinerlei Beschattung, war also unmöglich zu nutzen. Nach unserer Reklamation haben wir dann ein mini kleines Zimmer erhalten ca 14 m2 mit Blick auf das Meer. So stellt man sich keinen Urlaub vor, der für eine Woche sehr viel teurer war wie andere Unterkünfte. Wir haben mit einigen Gästen gesprochen welche mehrfach ihr Zimmer gewechselt haben weil sie hoch unzufrieden waren. Die Hotelleitung sieht diesen Problemen mit den Gästen relativ gelassen entgegen, da die Unterkünfte ja bereits bezahlt sind, unzufriedene Gäste werden hier hingenommen, man sitzt das einfach aus. Da wir noch einen Aufpreis gezahlt hatten baten wir die Hotelleitung unsere Getränkepreise von rund 100 € zu erlassen, aufgrund der katastrophalen Zustände, das hielt man nicht für nötig uns entgegenzukommen. Diese Unterkunft können wir eindeutig nicht empfehlen. Die Zufahrt zu Medusa ist ein sehr enger Weg, man muss ggf. mehrfach zurücksetzen wenn Gegenverkehr kommt, eindeutig etwas für sehr gute Autofahrer und teilweise sehr nervig da es kaum Ausweichmöglichkeiten gibt .... Ich würde mir wünschen, dass booking com die Anlagen besser prüft, damit der Kunde hier einen richtigen Eindruck erhält wo er seinen wohlverdienten Jahresurlaub verbringt um so etwas nicht zu erleben ....

Nous avons beaucoup - Magnifique emplacement sur la plage, sauvage et zen avec un très beau jardin de palmiers Le fait de devoir changer de chambre après 3 nuits sous prétexte d’être surclassé alors qu’il s’agissait d’un overbooking. • ALBERTO (9/5): Mi sono trovato così bene che se ritorno a Naxos, sceglierò questa struttura. - la struttura è accogliente. Il punto forte è la spiaggia, seppur di piccole dimensioni ha una orientamento che la protegge dal meltemi che soffia forte. Il giardino della struttura è ben curato e rilassante. La colazione servita in questo giardino è un piacevole momento. Servizio Ottimo. Prodotti buoni. Ottimo relax. Bellissimi tramonti in spiaggia con il bar della struttura a pochi passi. Vongono servite ottime soluzioni per il pranzo al mare, piatti di buona qualità su tavoli ben riparati e protetti dal sole. La struttura ha circa 30 camere e il numero degli ospiti rende la vacanza molto tranquilla e di qualità. La camera è spaziosa, ma il bagno è stato pensato un po' troppo piccolo. L'illuminazione ai lati del letto è stata pensata per una diversa posizione dell'arredo, e ora i due faretti laterali al letto sono abbandonati, attaccati su una parete non occupata dal letto stesso. Ero su una delle piccole strutture nuove su uno spazio decentrato , che non aveva ancora la situazione all'esterno curata come il resto della struttura, ma certamente a breve sarà tutto stupendo, ho visto che si stavano facendo lavori per questo.

• Catherine (7/5): - Lieu calme , près de la mer, emplacement parfait,mais du coup isolé des restaurants et commerces, route peu entretenue et étroite pour y accéder, très beaux jardins, très bien tenus et architectures très jolies avec de très belles petites maisons toutes différentes. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique et très agréable... beaucoup de charme. Le personnel est très agréable et sympathique. La mauvaise organisation de l hôtellerie...! Panne de machine à café sans substitut, panne d eau et électricité pour des amis... Pas de buffet continental au petit déjeuner donc très limité, exemple : omelette payante...oeuf coque et dur compris dans le prix. Beaucoup d attente pour être servi. Les prestations hôtelières sont assez chères pour un résultat qui n est pas totalement à la hauteur.

• Gabriela (4/5): Beaucoup d’espoirs mais très déçus - Y’a la plage privé. Le “petit déjeuner inclus”, il n’y a que 2/3 plats inclus dont: du pain, un œuf au plat, du yaourt… tout le reste était payant (dont même un expresso). On était isolés de la résidence principale. Prix très élevés pour ce que c’est et le placement est très isolé. Le bar de la piscine ferme assez tôt et n’a vraiment pas beaucoup de choses variées… la douche était bouchée et les chambres ne sont pas très isolées (après on était dans un fond de la résidence en dehors de la résidence principale)

• Michael (9/5): Trotz der negativen Erfahrungen beim Frühstück würde ich aufgrund der schönen Anlage und Zimmer wieder ins Medusa reisen - Die Lage des Hotels. Es ist aware ein klein wenig abseits, aber mit einem Mietauto ist alles gut und auch relativ schnell zu erreichen. Der Strand und die ANlage sind sehr schön! Das Essen ist ausreichen für einen guten Lunch am Pool / Meer. Das Frühstück hat relativ lang gedauert. Die Kaffeemaschiene war an 2 von 4 Tagen defekt. Alternativen gab es nicht. Lediglich war es möglich Nespresso-Kapsel zu kaufen, um dann auf dem eigenen Zimmer Kaffe zu kochen. zudem ist die Frühstückskarte sehr übersichtlich.

You must rent a car because transportation is very expensive (50euro for one way). The staffs are amazing specially Constantino. The Food is good. The rooms are very different from the pictures that are displayed on booking.com. Very small. The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom are not that nice.

• Martha (10/5): - If you’re looking for a little hideaway, this quaint little Hotel is it! The location is perfect right on one of the most Beautiful stretches of beach in Naxos. I can’t praise the staff more! They were amongst the most hospitable people I have ever encountered in my life. So grateful for their hospitality. The property is out of the way, but a short walk gets you to the bus stop to take you to town for a very reasonable 2.5 euros. The beauty of it is they have a beach bar, a restaurant, a pool and horse back riding on the beach literally next door. The food in Naxos is incredible! Loved it loved it!
• Alejandro (5/5): No cumple con la categoría que menciona. - El acceso a la playa en forma directa No hay medio de transporte público que llegue hasta el hotel y en caso de tomar algo que se aproxime, se deberá caminar 600 metros por calle de tierra y otros 500 metros más por la playa para llegar al hotel. Si se llevan maletas esta maniobra es imposible hacerla a pie, desde la parada final del autobus público. Eso deberían comunicarlo con anterioridad. Por otro lado, el desayuno no cumplió con la expectativa de un hotel de esa supuesta categoría y la atención de la camarera, dejó mucho que desear. Poco amable y de trato poco cordial. Los comercios y restaurantes de la zona más próximos (Plaka Beach), están a más de 1100 metros del hotel. Y se debe llegar caminando o bien contratar un vehículo rentado. La señal de WIFI en la habitación era muy baja.

Prestations chambres inégales ; privilégier les propositions de luxe. - Son emplacement géographique, ses prestations plage et ses petits-déjeuners. Espaces verts très bien entretenus, calme et très agréable. 1. La chambre où nous avons été installés à l’arrivée était différente de celle réservée sur Booking ; il m’a fallu insister photos et captures d’écran à l’appui ! La jeune femme d’accueil de nuit nous en a tenu rigueur et est restée très froide par la suite (pas le cas du monsieur en accueil de jour qui a été très charmant…). La chambre finalement ré-attribuée la 2e nuit était bien plus spacieuse, conforme aux volumes annoncés (plus de 25 m2)… avec vue sur mer… à 30 %. 2. Le petit-déjeuner gagnerait à proposer du chocolat et de l’expresso.

However, if I must provide some feedback, I would say that Whilst I accept the Room service isn’t really possible at such a wonderful resort, it would be great to be able to make a tea or coffee in my room with some coffee, tea and milk provided.

• Michelle (9/5): Four relaxing days in Naxos - The breakfast was delicious with so many options! We stayed in a two story stand alone unit that had the most incredible restroom and walk in shower. The best perk was the front row access to the beach! And the sweet kitties were an added perk! The dinner options weren't all that expansive although everything we had was delicious. It was also on the expensive side. Also driving at night to other restaurant locations was a bit hairy due to the hotel being down a dirt road with lots of blind spots.
• Ebru (7/5): War sehr entspannt!! - Das Hotel war frisch renoviert, da es auf den Bildern sehr alt aussah. Als wir dort ankamen waren wir positiv überrascht. Der Strand war sehr schön, man muss liegen ein tag davor reservieren. Die Hotelanlage und der Strand+Pool war sehr sauber. Wenn man im Urlaub relaxen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Alles sehr entspannt! Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen, so das man unbedingt ein Auto, oder einen Roller braucht um die nächsten Restaurants zu besuchen. Zu fuß kann man nur den Bäcker, auf der Straßenseite erreichen. Ein Bus fährt da leider nicht! Zum Plaka beach braucht man definitiv ein Auto. Das personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich, bis auf ein Tag, wo wir keinen Frühstück bekommen haben, obwohl wir vor 11Uhr am Tisch waren, und halbe stunde auf den Service gewartet haben, müssten wir uns noch anhören das wir su spät kamen.

• Claudia (10/5): Hervorragend - Es ist ein wirklich besonderes Hotel. Alles mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, wie übrigens fast überall auf Naxos. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles sehr individuell. Wer das herkömmliche Frühstücksbuffet sucht, ist hier falsch. Insgesamt vergeben wir fünf Sterne !!

Great spot on the beach and nice restaurants / beach bars just a 15 minute walk away Loved the simplicity but think there could have been a few more room amenities such as water bottles included every day or having a kettle in the room.
• Helma (8/5): Wir VIER, nicht mehr so ganz junge Freundinnen, haben unseren 2 -wöchigen Aufenthalt SEHR genossen. - Das Frühstück wurde im Garten nach Bestellung serviert und war reichlich. Die Kaffeetrinker mussten leider öfters auf die 2. oder 3. Tasse warten. Die Beach mit bequemen Sonnenliegen und die Beachbar (auch für Lunch) waren durch einen schön angelegten Garten in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Die 12 km lange Plaka-Beach war super für lange Strandspaziergänge. Da das Hotel ca. 10 km außerhalb von Naxos-Stadt lag, ist es sinnvoll ein Auto zu mieten (ab 40 € pro Tag, da ein Taxi pro Fahrt zum Flughafen oder in die Stadt schon 40 € kostet). Ein Shuttle vom Hotel wäre SUPER !!!

Dette tok dessverre uforholdsmessig lang tid da det var for lite personale i forhold til antall gjester, hvilket gjorde at frokosten kunne ta en time Kunne gjerne hatt et større utvalg til frokost og fått servering raskere

Lovely gardens and outdoor dining area. Wonderful to have spacious parking available. The rooms were very spacious inside which we loved, but there wasn't enough furnishings to enjoy the space. It would have been nice to have a lounge seat inside - or even a little bistro table since there was plenty of space - and some more seating outside on the balcony.
