• Gustavo (2/5): If you’re traveling with your girl or kids don’t stay here, management has a lot to improve - Good staff and location, close to the airport Rooms smell like weed and cigarettes , a lot of insects, bed uncomfortable, no room service, a lot of homeless in the parking lot
• Asole (1/5): - Nothing Bathroom had no toilet paper. We tried calling the front desk to no avail. The phone system is bad. No one was at the check in desk as it was after hours. Bathroom had just one small soap for two. The kitchenette is useless unless you rent the pots and pans for $50. This was not disclosed in the description. Room was low standard. No lamp, no hangers. Poor value for the money.

The best of neighborhood, but I felt safe.

• Blackwell (10/5): Was a decent hotel. - The bed was comfortable and loved the stove. Just people hanging outside with picnic chairs and the people loitering. And also the waiting time for a room was almost a hour and she never called to tell me when it was ready the receptionist only said it would be 45 minute wait which ended up to be longer.

• Verified traveler (4/5): D - When I first walked in I knew it was a mistake staying for two nights. The inside of the building looked like no one had cleaned it in months. The room itself wasn't too bad. The toilet was running constantly unless you jiggle the handle. The refrigerator was not level, it felt like it was going to fall over everytime you opened the door. There were some outlet covers missing. I was happy to leave.

When we arrived we realized this hotel is really more appropriate for those who need short term housing - people experiencing homelessness, transient people etc. not at all appropriate for our vacationing family. It reeked of tobacco and marijjuana. It was barebones. No reception area. Really rough. We left within minutes and did not get our money refunded. We lost nearly $300 but we could not spend the night in that place. I am sure this location is great for some, but be aware of what you are booking.

It didn’t look welcoming from the very moment I entered the building, to the elevator, through the hall, and entering the room where you could view all the flaws as soon as the door opened! No blanket! Some kind of substance on the ceiling and walls. I did not complete the stay!

I got there at night very tired from the day and was shocked at the filthy room with broken cabinets dirty floors and a constantly running toilet. I stayed until then morning and checked out. The General manager promised me she would issue a refund for the remaining two night and I took her at her word. This however did not happen and in my mind this speaks to a lack of integrity. Now I am forced to go through my credit card company to recoup my remaining days. If you are thinking of staying here I would not recommend it. The place is not maintained and the staff is confrontational.

• Laverle (8/5): After staying in Richmond Hill hotel Fair bridge Inn and Suites this place is a great jump up as far as comfort and peac - I liked the fact that the facility didn’t house cats and I was able to worship and pray in peace. Well I didn’t have a top drawer in my dresser , I was briefly told that the property would be remodeled in February.

The staff is very nice and always a pleasure to stop and chat with when there is time. Miss Valerie is the mgr and she is incredible. Always willing to help and is so nice. They make it feel like a second home.

Our room had NO door bolt (concerning for a hotel?) we found a German roach, I tried to kill it but it ran into the hallway under the door. We booked a queen bed, and they gave us a double bed instead, they offered no kind of solution. And on our last day, they barged into our room (without even knocking) while we were STILL SLEEPING and hour before check out. Also, both nights it sounded like a STAMPEDE was running above us, from midnight to about 6 AM.

She is loving,as well as caring for her residents. She is just amazing her spirit her energy is everything you guys need to have more of her in the company. Miss Valerie of the Woodspring Suites in Garden City deserves major kudos.

When I had trouble with my reservation at another hotel the staff were perceptive of the situation and managed to get me a room even though they were at near full capacity.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Bring your own home comforts - It was just okay. Alot of stray cats and random people drinking alcohol in the parking lot, especially at night. No iron or ironing board. Sheets were a bit thin. No table lamps and the overhead lighting felt like heat lamps. Made the room extra hot and too bright. It was not a very comfy or inviting room, but laundry facilities worked and were inexpensive compared to other hotels. Full refrigerator was also very clean and worked great. So did the microwave. Small tv. I had to fix the cables in the back for it to work. No phone or radio in the room. Management did make a good effort to clean up elevator spills and dirty public areas quickly. Snack and soda machines fully stocked and in good working order.
• Colon (1/5): Terrible. - Terrible check in procedures. Lady refused to check us in for a paid booking. I showed her confirmation and she still refused. It was already pushed back a hour because housekeeping was taking there time and cleaned only 1 room and then we had to get the GM of the hotel to get us into a room since the receptionist wasn’t trained and didn’t check the reservations. When we got into the room, it was trashed. Under the bed was disgusting with trash from the people before us. The room had a terrible smell and pieces of the room are falling apart. Then when we went to check out we stood there for 25 mins and had to leave a note that we were checking out because the receptionist was no where to be found. The only good thing about this place was the GM and the location. Everything else sucked. Use the money and try a different hotel. We will never stay here again.

We booked 3 rooms on Friday,8/16/24, paid it in full and got the reservation confirmation. Today,Sunday ,8/18/24, when we got to the hotel to check in, they are telling us that they don’t have the rooms available. And they didn’t offer any options for accommodation. Thank you, but no thank you.
• Carol (1/5): Run away !! Don't stay !! - Nothing If I could give a ZERO star review, I would. Hotel was disgusting. Smell was awful with a mixture of stale smoke and dogs ! ZERO amenities included! No coffee pot, iron, lamps, or ice machines ! The room had a bed from the 1970's, cabinets falling off the hooks, clogs in the tub and sinks, slow flushing commode, mini blinds were broken, and door was open when we arrived ! Fire alarm was pulled by a guest and everyone had to vacate the hotel during our stay ! The worst place I've EVER stayed in my life!

The kitchen cabinets had missing drawers and front panels, the heating coils were utterly greasy, and next to the bed was a sticky patch on the floor.
