- Michael (10/5): Pleasently Surprised! - Clean! Well Maintained! Comfortable Bed! Great place!
- Pakulis (10/5): - The owner went above and beyond to assist me during a tornado warning.
- Crydtal (3/5): Not comfortable and not clean - Price Air didn’t stay working shower was dirty has sewer smell
- Chris (1/5): It was not a good place. I have stayed better places. I would never stay there again. - It was close to where my son need to be for Special Olympic The TV did not work like it supposed to and My Son went and took a shower and a couple minutes in the shower. The water went cold then there were no more hot water then I cannot take a shower after him because there were no hot water and there were no smoke protector in the room at all, and the lamps on the wall did not work at all, even when you put lightbulbs in it.
- Stephen (8/5): Good for the money - It was in the location I needed and it was all ground level for convenience. Staff was very accommodating. The hotel was alittle dated but very clean and comfortable No coffee pot in room

- Stith (10/5): -
- Christina (10/5): -
- John (8/5): - Very basic set up, nothing special. The setup for the tv was hard to get going and remote didn't work. The satellite range couldn't pick up due to the weather.
- Merry (4/5): - Staff was nice. Room smells like sewer, they tried to cover it up with multiple air fresheners. The air fresheners mixed with the sewer smell was awful. You could hear water running in the shower drain, the the trap was probably broken. They need a plumber.
- Thomas (1/5): - Nothing Icky! The place smelled of cigarettes and was dirty! I felt like I was staying in a place that rents by the hour!
- Minda (8/5): - Worked great for us and our stay.
- Todd (2/5): - This was dump! Don't stay here ever! Went to brush my teeth and the water backed up in the sink and 3/8" hair started to float out! 😝
Also, the flooring was curled up so my shoes kept catching on it.
I would have went somewhere else but it was so late when i got there and I was so tired I didnt care. But seriously stay away from this place.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- David (4/5): - I liked that it was one level, no stairs to climb. Rent room for older gentleman for one night. The room was very small and dirty, was given 2 very small towels and one wash rag, TV didn't have a remote to turn TV on, had to turned it on manually, which he didn't know how to do. Had a dish remote which didn't work. The TV screen had white lines going through it the whole time watching it. Toilet overflowed on him; he only urinated in it. Won't stay there ever again.
- Ned (5/5): Okay for a very short stay. - No Breakfast. Location requires a car, or the Green Line. Floor could have been wet mopped. My socks got pretty dirty.
- David (10/5): The room was clean and quiet. - I was very pleased with my stay at Budget Inn Jefferson City, MO. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again. The people that are running the place are friendly, and efficient. I had to get back to my home or I would have stayed another day.
- Minda (8/5): - Room was not very clean, WiFi didn’t work nor the tv and most outlets. Over all was good for the cost.
- Thomas (8/5): - I guess we expected coffee and an ironing board and iron, even though it was not listed as an amenity. I was glad to see there was a refrigerator with a freezer.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - The key did not work at first. Floor appeared to be dirty. Parking lot was snowy. However, staff was friendly.
- David (4/5): - I wasn't allowed to check in. I should be refunded the money. The manager of the motel told me he didn't charge me.
- David (2/5): - Arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon at 1 pm to check in and they informed me that they had no room available for me despite me having made reservations 2 weeks prior. This is absolutely unacceptable. At no point was I contacted by the hotel or hotels.com.Absolutely horrible.
- Rene (2/5): Bates Motel - The motel had people that lived there and it stinked really bad. The shower was best thing the they had in that bates motel . Need to rent rooms to anyone until update are made.
- denisegH7827NU (2/5): BUGS. - BED BUGS! FILTHY! Urine stains in the bed. Smelled terrible. The smell stayed with me for days. Stayed only an hour before we spotted the bugs.
Felt more like a jail cell than a hotel room. Was refunded when we complained about the bugs. Never again.
- Kimberly (2/5): Very poor - The bed was comfortable Leaking sink, very outdated
- Robert (6/5): - I was disappointed that the registration desk did not have a copy of my reservation and if they had not had a room I would have been out of luck.
- Nicole (10/5): Clean and comfy - Front desk clerk was a very nice young man. The hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. The only complaint I have is, I didn't have a blanket. This was a last minute stay, because the Travelodge Hotel’s room was dirty.
- Richard (6/5): - It was the only place available in town in the Expedia app on short notice with a queen bed. But when we got to the room it was a full size not a queen. The name says Budget so it is not a Hilton Garden Inn by any means.
- ANDREW (2/5): - This was the worst motel I have stayed at. After killing two bed bugs around 2:00 AM, I went out to the car and slept in it. Under no condition stay at this place.
- Donna (10/5): - It was very pleasing I highly recommend this place
- Elijah (4/5): - There were large amounts of yelling and screaming around the property. There were small bugs on the bathroom floor. The safety lock on the entry door had been ripped from the wall. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. Had there been any other option in town we would have left.
- Brant (2/5): No hot water. - No hot water. Could not shower. There were only about 4 guests here but probably at least 60 rooms.
- Harriet (2/5): Not good - There was lil black hairs in the sink and there was food left in the trash can
- Donna (8/5): Very nice room! - Very nice, recently remodeled room. Very friendly & personable owner.Only problem was the air conditioner was really, really loud. Owner tried his best to fix it and apologized profusely but it remained exceptionally loud. I will stay there again.
- Kenneth (8/5): - ?
- Paul (8/5): Nice staff - Very friendly owners we ended up staying a second night and they had no problem changing out booking for it
- Alice (6/5): - It was for us a place to sleep. If all others motels had not been booked we would never have stay here. It was not in to safe a neighborhood. They were the only place that had a room available.
- Paul (2/5): 1940 no tell motel - 80$ for this dump? I would not complain if the price had been 40$. Stunk. 1960 air conditioner didn’t cool. There was a scorpion in the bathroom. Would it kill the clerks to be friendly and smile?
- Kassandra (8/5): - Just the overall condition of the hotel was rough. Big bed. It wasnt the worst. You get what you pay for 😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was perfect and cozy, and the service was excellent
- Patty (8/5): Room okay - Wells it's all good I'm just glad that I was able to get a room and I appreciate it very much indeed
- Patricia (8/5): Just let you know that I have appreciated it allok - It's was a good day and time works great for me. I'll be staying once again thank you so much for your time and consideration in this matter is greatly appreciated. I'll let others know about the motel room and the prices for the room are . within the reason for the budget I'm on. Just wanted to let you know that I have been able to get to do a lot of work done.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms had a decent amount of space, bathroom was nice size as well. Very clean room for a smokers room.
- tim (2/5): I have stayed in over 2000 hotels by far the worst - The rooms are in very bad condition and the shower had mold. Tv did not work for the entire week we stayed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid at all costs! - Checked in, room was musty smelling, toilet ran constantly, immediately left and found anothe place to stay. Did not even ask for a refund because the people there were very unfriendly and somewhat scary!
- Lorren (2/5): - It was a terrible experience! I checked in to my room and found ants all over the room and crawling on me! I complained to management and they gave me another room. This room was better, but had no blankets on the bed, only sheets. Heater barely put out any heat and windows were letting in cold air. I froze all night! Went to check out next morning. Was supposed to stay for 2 more days, but wanted refund. They refunded only the 2 nights I didn't stay and refused to refund the night I froze at their hotel! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This is obviously an older property that apoears better in the posted photos in their ad. My room looked nothing like any of these. Hard wood floors were clean as was the rest of the room which was with only one bed very small. No TV channel guide was available in any form which irritated my wife greatly. The police visit to our next door neighbor was entertaining if not a bit scary. I will say that when asked for services the staff was compliant and prompt to respond. I wouldn't stay there again but have stayed in worse.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Run far away - It was disgusting. There was what looked like blood on the sheets and found a crack pipe under the microwave. When we confronted the front desk, all they could say was that it wasn't his and that they don't clean under everything in the room. Disgusting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I needed a place to stay for the night. This place was clean, it was older but it was just what I wanted. No it did not have a lot of thing like pool or anything like that, but I didn't need that. I would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very noisy with motel guests playing loud music outside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was clean for being a budget inn. We were satisfied with our stay.
- Penni (2/5): This hotel was not worth 70.00 a night! - Hotel did not look like the pictures on line
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Minimal everything. I somehow got a smoking room and I don’t smoke. There were holes burned into blanket and poor quality towels. No coffee pot, uninviting.
- Sharon (10/5): - It is an old motel, but appears to have recently been renovated. New paint and tile in the bathroom, floor and shower. Could use to have the carpet changed to tile. Very clean and quiet.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very low class motel. Shower won't turn off. Worse motel I have ever stayed.
- Sharon (4/5): - We like to froze to death the heating was not enough
- Charles (2/5): - Wouldn’t let my dog sleep there
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Bed was comfortable, it has radiated heat which was great. Price was good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Toilet overflowed......not a good start. Put my phone to charge, sink was leaking so water got on phone. You have to pay for ice. No coffee machine only soda machine. TV service was bad only watched one channel....no blanket on bed only sheet and bed spread, light over bed did not work. Should I go on?
- Rhonda (8/5): Needs new matresses - Stay was ok..stayed 2 nights. Bed was not comfortable. My only complaint that was hotel related.
- christine a (4/5): Don't use this motel. - Mattress and box spring had stains on them. Bathroom sink was falling apart. Paint on bathroom wall and all over the ceiling was peeling and falling off. Wi-Fi unsecured.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - They said I got the last room and upon arrival the place is empty. Said they provide WiFi access but never have been able to connect. I definitely would not chosen this place if I was aware that the internet wasn't going work. And I paid $86 for a room that is at best worth 40 I can't use the shower because I didn't bring shower shoes and there is no way I'll be stepping on that nasty moldy shower floor... OMG and as Im writing this review a bed bug just crawled a cross the the bed in front of me
- Jeff (8/5): - Good place for the money, some upkeep issues in the bathroom, seemed to be a safe neighborhood, overall good 😁
- Andrea (10/5): Passing through budget motel - It was awesome rooms are clean great place for a budget stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The A/C in my room worked great. The room was clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay here!!!! - Looks like something out of a movie! And not in a good way!!Small room, Fights right outside of the room drug addicts & hookers wont be back not worth $30 let alone $70 a night only 3 tv channels on top of everything else and no coffee maker!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay here!! - Fights in the parking lot thru out the night
Paint peeling off the walls, small room, no coffee maker , most ghetto hotel I have ever stayed in!!
- Norman (4/5): - Was told we did not have a reservation thru hotels.com and had to pay full price. Outside was very tough looking.furnace did not hear well and the door had at least an inch gap all around for air to come they.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to shopping. Easy access to the highway. Staff was friendly.
- Rebecca (10/5): - I literally only stay there for about five hours because I close at work and had to be right back in but they were really friendly
- TravelingmanKC (8/5): As the Name Implies - My choice was based primarily of price. I'd seen this place on previous visits to Jefferson City, but it looked quite run down, so I'd bypassed it. However, recent reviews indicated it had been remodeled, so I decided to give it a try. Check-in was fast and uncomplicated. The room itself was very clean, although the two chairs appeared to be "pre-remodel" and needed replacement, reupholstering, or at least a good cleaning. I put a towel on one of the chairs before sitting on it. Room included a flat screen TV and a microwave and refrigerator, which are big pluses with me. Ice machine is coin operated. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend it to budget minded travelers.
- pkg0 (8/5): Nice Stay - Rooms are recently remodeled. Shower was EXCELLENT. Would recommend to other people. Staff was polite and welcoming. Good location with ample parking. Good motel with fair price. We really enjoyed our stay.
- jfer04 (8/5): Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover - When we first pulled up to the inn, I thought we made a serious mistake. The outside isn't much to look at and you have to ring a bell to get someone at the desk, but the newly renovated room made up for it. Once inside the room, you forget what it looked like outside. Wood floors. Updated bathroom (complete with an amazing rain fall shower head). The AC was a window unit, but even with it being 100 outside, we were cooled off inside. The beds were comfortable and clean, and even the pillows were good. It's definitely a no frills motel, but for the price, it was worth the stay.
- aprilbrowning2005 (2/5): Budget inn on 1309 Jefferson st in Jefferson city MO - Hotels.com recommended this hotel to us on a long trip back from Alabama. There was no heat, the room was nasty to say the least. When we informed desk clerk of no heat (it was 30° outside) he simply replied "no refunds" I will not be staying no do I recommend anyone stay here.
