- Dylan (10/5): An airy, peaceful, romantic getaway - Simply put, this place is amazing. Highly recommended. We stayed for four nights on our honeymoon and it was just so great. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, friendly, private, spacious. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. The rooftop is really nice. But even from our room, the sun rising from behind the mountains and over the tea fields was unbelievable. All the birds were dope too. Shout out to our friends the bulbuls.

- Vipin (7/5): Overall good experience. Food was good, staffs were excellent. Quiet n pleasant stay. - Estate view Flat TV included in the package was not working.
Rien
- Christopher (6/5): - Good location and amazing views from our room. Spacious room and a nice shower. Inflexible breakfast timings, and expensive for what it is - a basic room with little customer service.
- Dr. Desiraju Lakshmi Narsimha (9/5): - Location in a tea estate. Have to pay cash or digital payment by UPI through bank debit. Credit card payment was not available. Swiping machine sent for repairs is a standard excuse you hear from many hoteliers, including this one. No one can tell if it is true or an excuse.
UPI linked credit card payment is also not possible.
- Girija (9/5): Overall experience was excellent - Excellent breakfast They could have accepted credit cards
- Maheshwari (9/5): - This place is actually very nice.

- Shaga (8/5): -
- Fotios (10/5): Great hospitality, - Great location, quiet, you feel the real essence of Munnar as it’s surrounded by tea plantations. Also, the people running the estate were very friendly and supportive. They were going out of their way to help me. And the room was new, spacious, always clean, with a beautiful view. What else to ask for? Atm was a bit far but with the help of the team, we sorted it out easily.

- Emilio (7/5): Un buon hotel in una posizione incantevole - Posizione incantevole
Terrazza con vista sulle piantagioni di tè
Silenzioso
Bagno piuttosto antiquato

- charlotte (8/5): Amazing views and friendly staff - The views were stunning, overlooking the tea plantations. The staff bent over backwards to provide us with food when we wanted it, and tried as hard as they could to cater for our requests. If you're trekking the other side of Munnar then it's still quite a long drive away (Munnar itself is min 20 mins). 5 stars for friendly staff and beautiful views
- Monica (8/5): -
- Dony (8/5): -
- Poornima (9/5): Secret hideaway from the city hustle perfect place to relax and rejuvenate - The location was great and staff very pleasing
- Singh (10/5): Good experience overal, amazing staff. - Good location, nice view from second floor. Location is bit hard to reach for the public transport people.
- Abhijit (9/5): -
- Rita (10/5): Amazing 🤩 - Beautiful location
Saranraj at reception was amazing help. He took me on his own motorcycle to get access to a tuk tuk.
Honestly loved the location right in the middle of the tea plantation. Nothing
- shashikant (8/5): - Cook and staff were friendly and cooperative They didn't allowed us to use their washroom after we checked out.... No humanity they have.....
RAS
- Pavan (8/5): It’s a great little property located in between the tea plantations. The room is large enough to comfortably accommodate - The room was spacious and is in a tea plantation. Great location. It’s not very straightforward to reach the property. You take a left turn into a tiny street from the Power House street. It does not have any signs indicating that the property is in there.
- Ashvin (10/5): A gem in the middle of tea plantation - Breathtaking views. Polite, kind and courteous staff. Very cooperative.
Food was excellent.
- Isabelle (9/5): FORMIDABLE !
- Shirley (7/5): -
- Pedro (8/5): Nice but not functional - The location is beautiful but not functional. Very far from everything. Big windows facing the tea plantation. Far from everything. Not prepared to serve breakfast before trekking.
- Bhavesh (8/5): Good surroundings in middle of tea plantation - Good surroundings in middle of tea plantation, although it’s not owned by the property. Good view if you get the right room One of the rooms is not suitable for guests - it needs total revamp before it can be rented.
- Danielle (9/5): - No payment by card, only INR cash
- uday (7/5): Not value for money - Ambience if room Food
- Ilya Stepanov (9/5): -
- Anand (10/5): - Lovely stay and hospitality by the staff.
- Cornel (7/5): Good location If you like being in the middle of tea plantations but overall not value for money - I liked the location in the tea fields and my room had a lovely view of the tea plantations. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was quite good also I had a delux room and the size of the=bedroom was fine . It was a very comfortable room however the adjoining bathroom was very disappointing, very tired and in desperate=need of a makeover. I never had a hot shower and when I did have a shower the water just flooded the entire bathroom floor area, most inconvenient. The vanity looked old and tired and not pleasant. Not enough bathroom accessories to allow you to not stand in the water when the floor is flooded. Also the entire property had no useable outdoor recreational space to lounge around other than a top floor meeting type eating place that can only be used when it isn’t raining.

- Devjyoti (10/5): - We liked the facilities, staff behaviour, and location of the property. I recommend trying their cuisine. The taste of the food is very good.
- Jithin (6/5): -
- Howell (10/5): Lovely place to stay if visiting the area - Lovely staff and the room was clean and tidy
- Bala Kumaran (5/5): - Location is scenic Standard of the room and cleanliness
- SARATHKRISHNA (7/5): -
- Uttara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nandini (10/5): One of the best stays of our lives - We got an upgrade to the best room in the property. That meant stunning views of tea gardens on one side and mountains on the other from the bed itself! That we were far away from the din and bustle of Munnar town was a huge plus for us. Ajesh, Arvind and others took good care of us. Nothing!
- Mukesh (10/5): Thanks - Location and view one side mountain and another side Tea plants Don’t have North Indian food 😅
- Kanchan (8/5): Very good -
- Beatrice (10/5): Our stay in Munnar - the view of the room and especially the rooftop Is amazing, really suggestive. The room is clean and quite modern. The staff was really kind and there Is a great service for the food at any time. I recommend to stay here for your stay on Munnar
- Vajulla (10/5): Exceptional - The location is amazing in front of the tea plant .Best places for family. Very good and polite staffs, I didn't see this kind of response from any other hotels. Aravind is very helpful from the beginning of our stay . Thank you for hosting us .
- Abhinav (9/5): Lovely place to relax and absorb Munnar at a slow pace - Good location overlooking the tea plantations. The property also has a very nice restaurant on the terrace which serves freshly cooked food. Bonus being the views from the restaurant. Thus there's barely any reason to head out much and subject oneself to the traffic of Munnar. Nothing much to complain about.
- Rebecca (6/5): Pleasant - Terrace was very nice to have breakfast with view over the tea plantation. Staff was very attentive. Old furniture and sheets, mold visible in bathroom, really in need of renewal. Also had a lot of tiny ants from the beginning.
- Dr (10/5): Worth each and every penny. - I recently stayed at Gruenberg and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The property is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery that makes the entire stay feel like a retreat into nature. Every room was maintained in top-notch condition—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged.
What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and hospitable staff. A special shout-out to Mr. Ajesh, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout. His dedication and attentiveness really stood out and made a big difference in our overall experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with world-class service!
I am definitely coming back again here. Nothing much to.point out.
- Mohammed (10/5): My favourite place to stay in Munnar - The stay felt so comfortable and relaxing. Thanks to Aravind and his team. They were available whenever required and made sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing. Much better than most restaurants in the town of Munnar. The housekeeping did their job fine. Parking was available. The view on both sides of the room were blissful. Will refer it to anyone I know. Recommend it for family with kids.
- Shreya (8/5): Very good -
- Josselin (8/5): Great place in the middle of tea plantation - The location, hotel room, rooftop view and food were really good!
The staff was amazing, Arvin and the team were so nice and helpful! A bit noisy if you are sensitive to noise, but the staff helped to reduce it, mainly due to neighbours. The second night was quiet.
Towels could be replaced since they had marks and did not dry much, but still ok.
I would recommend anyway
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Lovely room in the middle of a tea plantation. Very helpful staff The tea plantation was a little small and you felt slightly hemmed in
- Lee (8/5): Reasonably standard accommodation amongst the tea - Roof terrace was lovely, especially at breakfast and pleasant to sit out at night. The system of using WhatsApp to communicate worked well once I got the hang of it. They preferred meals ordered in advance, including a time for breakfast but meals were all good. Staff arranged transport for where we needed to be, and organised a tuk tuk to deliver beer to us that was kept in the fridge until needed. Once you take the super and deluxe words out you will have better expectations, I think the words are decorative in India. Lovely spot, but a little away from things so travelling can take a while, but I like quiet. We had a first floor room, but I suspect the 2nd floor has better views. There is only one standard room, this is on the ground floor and won't have much of a view.
- Pip (10/5): Exceptional - This small hotel is in the most beautiful scenery, which you can see from the bedroom window but we loved going to the roof terrace for breakfast, stunning!
Every single member of staff were so helpful in making sure we had a great stay and helped us book some tours around Munnar.
The bed was huge and very comfortable! First good night sleep i'd had in a while We struggled to get warm water in the shower but maybe it's because everyone was showering at the same time. But it wasn't too much of a problem as a cool shower was quite refreshing!
- Jana (9/5): Superb -
- Meghana (8/5): Overall, the hotel grows on you, and is comfortable for the most part. The friendliness of the staff and the location ma - Staff were very friendly. The view was beautiful since we had a room on the top floor. There was hot running water in the bathroom and it was cool enough with just the overhead fan, and no air conditioning. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The coffee was delicious!! The place definitely needs renovating and some TLC. I had to ask for different bath towels since the ones in the bathroom were stained and very worn out. The access to tea, coffee and food was limited since the kitchen had limited hours. There were light fixtures that needed to be fixed. The glass bottle of drinking water in the room looked like a science experiment!
- Tony (8/5): Overall we really enjoyed staying - big opening picture windows with amazing views - The meals were very good and served on a beautiful covered rooftop Bathroom was old and shabby
- Fra (8/5): Overall a nice place - The hotel is uniquely located in the middle of a tea plantation, where guests can take relaxing walks. It is incredibly peaceful, offering breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are relatively affordable. Ajesh, the heart and soul of the hotel, and his colleagues are exceptionally kind and attentive.
Ordering food is easy via WhatsApp, with meals delivered directly to your room or the rooftop terrace, which offers a fantastic view. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is of good quality, always freshly prepared.
Due to illness, I had to leave a day earlier. The hotel was incredibly accommodating and did not charge me for the extra night, even though they could have. The hotel is in urgent need of renovation! The room furnishings, including the bed covers, are very worn out. The ceiling is full of mold stains, the windows don’t close properly, and while the furniture is functional, it is not cozy. At times, the electricity went out, and for one day, there was only cold water in the shower.
- Allison (9/5): Beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff - We were upgraded on arrival so had lovely views of the tea plantation from our window. The roof top restaurant was lovely we ate here every night, portions were large enough to share between two.
It was out of town so you do need to have access to a tuk tuk which they can arrange or you can book your own for a similar price. We booked the martial arts close by, massage at Nature and Lockhart plantation walk, factory tour and tasting as well.
If you need a tuk tuk for the day our driver Sharan was very good +919048798018 he also took us to a local waterfall to swim Pulimala. The floor was very slippy in the bathroom when wet, but we just used the bathroom mats to walk on.
Towels were a little old with a few small holes.
- Graham (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing in the heart of a tea plantation....Great staff excellent value for money - Breakfast perfect as was the location Nothing
- Chhayani (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (8/5): Fantastic views. - Lovely views on a tea plantation. Caring staff. Not much else around the property. A little overpriced.
- Kay (9/5): Fantastic views. Wonderful staff - Positioned in the middle of the tea plantation. Stunning views. We watched the tea pickers at work from the bedroom.
Lovely big bedroom & bathroom.
Free toiletries were a nice touch.
Fantastic, helpful, happy staff. Good breakfast on the beautiful roof terrace. Limited restaurants in the area, but we did manage ok for our 3 night stay.
- Shafeek (9/5): Superb -
- Josephine (8/5): Very good -
- Akhil (7/5): Good -
- Godson (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (10/5): Great location amongst Tea Plantation - The staff were outstanding and very friendly and helpful. The menu for breakfast had both indian and european option. Included large plates of fresh fruit. Due to location we chose to eat at hotel.and there was enough variety of food , it was fresh and tasted great ! Staff very attentive. Great views and rooftop dining. We had views from our bedroom. You can walk through tea plantation and side roads to walk down past village houses. Also 15 min walk to Kathakali Show. We chose this location to be away from the busyness of Munnar after full days out , and definitely right choice for us. Nice to wake up to mountain and tea plantation views
- Randhir (8/5): Very good -
- Nikita (6/5): Pleasant - Location, cleanliness Food, overpriced for the facility
- U2brian (5/5): Friendly Staff - Disappointing Property - Friendly Staff! The View! Birdsong! Nature! The roof terrace! Property interior is tired, neglected and in need of refurbishment. Very basic, lacking any nice touches. Worn furniture, bedding and dirty towels. Not good value for money - for the price I expected more. Lots of room to improve.
- Sebastian (9/5): Pretty cool spot in the tea plantations - Great views
Awesome terrace
Delicious food
Special touches on Christmas Day
Comfortable room Bathroom was a bit dirty but we found that throughout our India travels
No fridge in room but the staff in the kitchen helped us and allowed us to use theirs which was kind.
- Liam (9/5): Amazing views with great staff - Location is amazing, with fantastic views. The food they served was simple, but nice, especially the salt and pepper paneer. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous too. Ajesh especially was very helpful! The bed sheets/pillows are a bit old, and the bathroom floor got very slippery after one of us had a shower.
- Surbhi (8/5): Very good - The location is the best part of the property. You will get the best view… The food could be better.
- Sugata (9/5): A great location to stay near Munnar Hill Station - The location is excellent, the facilities are upto the mark and the staff is always on toes at your service with a smiling face. The taste of the food is also good. You can watch the beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset from the room as well as the rooftop. The food prices can be revised and reduced.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Plantation views, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great shower, tasty food
- Sojan (7/5): Good - View from terrace dining area. Road to the property is very narrow .Parking area for only one or two cars. parking is very difficult.
- Raj (5/5): Passable - The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was not so clean, amenities were not placed as per requirement.. food was given all the time without salt..!!
Nobody serviced the room since we checked in.
Everything was asked to be given
- Kevin (9/5): Scenic location with good food - The property has five rooms and is located in a peaceful tea plantation, with far-reaching views of the mountains. The food served in the rooftop restaurant, or in your room, was excellent, and as vegetarians, we ate there every night and were never disappointed. The room was very clean, had a big, comfy bed, and had fabulous views. A tuk tuk into Munnar town cost INR400, each way. Although clean, the bed linen was quite worn and scratchy and had seen better days.
- Shubham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shuvam (10/5): Super luxury stay amidst nature - Everything about this property is super cool, the staff was amazing super helpful Nothing
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Great views, quiet location. Staff very helpful. A little maintenance would improve the room. Not a big problem but could be better.
- Ajith (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were so friendly and cooperative.
The location is really good. Parking space is little less
