But it is further out from the key area (French quarter) than is ideal and because of all the hard floors everywhere it’s quite noisy throughout. If we came again I’d be tempted to try the FQ, but if I had to stay here I’d be relaxed
- Verified traveler (10/5): - everything was excellent except for the fact that the air conditioning was extremely cold, we could not lower the fan speed or increase the temperature setting. when not in the room the system shuts of completely and went we return and insert the card it starts up again and the is a spread of stale moisture from the system probably resulting from spreading of mold spores. the front desk was also pushing the check out time. I would stay at this hotel anytime

- Florence Sunitha (6/5): Decent place but bad customer service - Room was spacious as we stayed in Executive suite room but was disappointed with the plug points (not many to charge your phones and laptop). The condition of the room could have been better as the towel racks were rusted and you had to take bath in the tub and water flowed all over from the shower inspite of using the curtain.
Service is super slow and they would forget your orders and you have to remind them at least twice before you could get anything done.
Food tasted good (saving grace) and the breakfast spread is good too. No one in the breakfast area to cater to your needs. Asked for coffee which they said they will bring but never came.
The crowd is there because you have people coming in during weekends to drink so maybe customer service is not your priority as you know your hotel will get filled up but other customers also pay good money so cater to their needs and don't be so careless.

- Raman (4/5): 4 Star Hotel with Poor maintenance and Food - Experience was not good considering a 4 Star hotel. I was asked to pay the room charges upfront which should never be the case. Breakfast all 4 days were with same menu. Washrooms had rusted fittings.. rooms were moist and fungus at places.. even the corridor you can observe moisture and wet patches.. doors were shabby seems no one cleans it.
Reception and Pool were only good rest nothing good about this hotel.

However food not up to standard, room service delivered promptly but food luke room - how can that be when delivered fast???.
Breakfast service appalling, pretty bland selection of dry (left too long in buffet bowels). Attempted to order omelette twice (once being 2nd person early in restaurant). Each time after eating my fruit and serial, but still no sign of my omelette I observed several other customers receiving theirs ahead of me. After confronting chef about my order he just responded with smiles and shake of head. Stormed out of restaurant in disgust that others orders were made before mine.
- Seema (8/5): Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities - Great hotel. A little far from the city attractions (approx 45min walk or 15 min ride). Has lots of great amenities like a beautiful pool, mini golf, gym, etc.
- Robert (6/5): Great Potential, but... - This was essentially a very good hotel, with comfortable rooms and amenities as described.
The only reason I can't give it a higher score is because I don't feel it was great value for money - there are a few things that need to be improved to justify the price paid.
Rooms, while perfectly adequate, could do with some maintenance- key card access not working, plug sockets broken etc.
Mainly though, service wasn't up to scratch- check in and check out were both painfully and needlessly slow, and there was no attempt to 'go the extra mile' for customer satisfaction in any way.
I would stay here again, but only if there wasn't anywhere of a similar standard available at a similar price.
- Judith (2/5): Don’t do it!! - Our experience at this hotel was sub par to say the least. Actually, it was truly awful. The worst part of the entire stay was check in. We were a family of 7 which included two elderly women and theee children. Because there was a discrepancy between our booking record and the record the hotel had, they refused to honor the record sent to us. We called hotel.com theee times, they could not have been more helpful and solved the issue in the end. The hotel however, exhibited horrific customer service. How it’s ok to keep a family of 7 standing at check in for one hour while you figure out your back room numbers I’ll never understand. In addition, the rooms are falling apart, the beds are awful and some rooms have hot water, TVs and door locks that work, (among other things) and others don’t. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!!

- Pradeep Kumar Kokkanti (4/5): Unprofessional service - very much disappointed with the attitude of the front office staff. forced us to make full payment in advance for the room. no where in the world for our booking through hotels.com, we were asked to pay in advance at the time of check in..we also offered our credit card as guarantee instead of advance payment, but staff refused and said will cancel the booking...on top of all this the staff swiped my credit card twice for the same amount... breakfast was very mediocre...overall an average hotel

I ordered food in the room and was told and was displayed in the room that inhouse guestswill be given 15% discount. Before billing i asked her if she gave the discount and she said yes but on checking i saw that she hadn't. She later said since the booking was from expedia she can't give the discount.
