• Handra (7/5): Decent stay in Bangkok - Sribumpen is a hotel close to many embassies in Bangkok. The room that we stayed was on the main road side so it was very noisy and they don't have windows that block the street noisy what was not nice. The room itself was okay, the bed is comfy. But, the room is small, especially the bathroom. They don't offer a mirror or a wardrobe. Also there was a small leak in the bathroom sink that we reported to the manager that told us would investigate. Just for one night I would stay again. They could offer some water, perhaps a mini fridge and a mirror. Also be aware they don't offer a lift.

• Ming (8/5): Great local option - Room was very comfortable and clean, great temperature control and water pressure for the shower. Good location, near 7-11 and just a 20min taxi or bike ride away from major attractions, walkable to Lumphini MRT (15mins). Would be nice if there was a small desk and chair provided, also just be aware there are no closets, just 2 hangers on hooks.
• David (10/5): My little care home and hospital - I can not recommend this little hotel enough, it may not be the best hotel in Bangkok, but I shall stay there again, without doubt. I arrived after a motorcycle accident in Laos, banged up and with broken ribs. The staff made sure I was comfortable without me having to ask for anything. The receptionists gave me her own painkilling cream, helped me find a good hospital near by that didn't cost the earth. Basically, they looked after me for for a few weeks for which I am eternally grateful 🙏 Hotel is in a good area, the steak house across the road serves both English, and Thai food, which is cooked to perfection. Apart from ny broken ribs, I had a very nice stay, thank you to all the staff 🙏❤️ I could have done without the earthquake , other than that, everything was great.

• Brian (7/5): Okay hotel not much to say expect you get what you pay for - The room was decent. The window from our room doesn’t have a view, it leads to the other building so we kept the curtains closed the entire time. Shower is a bit small. There is no elevator so be prepared to possibly walk 2-5 floors. Note that they ask for a 1,000 baht deposit in cash and they give it back at the end. The reception is pretty small they have complimentary coffee (instant coffee) with mugs but table is a bit small for a big group of friends to hang out. Reception is not 24 hours so if you are landing late no one will be at the reception. Overall the room was okay and budget friendly but I would say consider upgrading hotels if you can.

• Aleksander (9/5): Good location and comfortable sleep. - I liked the comfortable bed and the overall cleanness. I didn’t like that the housekeeping lady got into the room without asking while the guests were inside, just to turn the AC on without any requests given.

Good air-conditioning (looks like new) and nice atmosphere at the table in reception where you have a big fridge for customers and a kettle. 5 floors in a very hot building (ask for lower floor!) No refrigerator or water bottle supply to the room. No hairdryer, very hard bed and uncomfortable pillows. After 3 nights I was very sore. No tissues, no kettle, no glasses in the room. Water and instant coffee only at reception (ground floor!). Our room was facing the other building with no privacy. Smoking courtyard below so all smoke came to our room. Overall you can get all above for the same price somewhere else.

• Monica (8/5): Comfy stylish budget room - The building and room are nicely designed and minimalistic. Aircon in the room was nice and the size of the room worked well for us with our backpacks too. Be aware that you might need to carry your stuff up a few floors. Also, I don't think you can store luggage there before/after checkout as the reception is sometimes empty.

• Cade (5/5): Lady on the desk let the whole place down - Good Location, Good value for money The lady on the front desk, just not welcoming at all, needs a lesson in customer service and common courtesy. I arrived at 11am after a long journey and although the room was ready she wanted 500 baht to check in early, then on check out I returned to the the room at 12pm exactly and she along with another staff member were already in my room, they had touched my personal items and I feel it’s a total invasion of privacy. Such a shame.

After all other places I've been to I was especially happy to see such a clean and comfortable bathroom, it's really good. Room was a little small but it wasn't a problem. There's a place in the lobby where you can hangout and drink free tea and coffee. There are a lot of little restaurants and cafes around, several 7 elevens. You can't go further than the lobby without a key card so it also feels pretty safe The only negative thing I can think about is pillows being too thick, making the neck hurt.

Nice and helpful receptionist. Bed was big and comfortable, I had a really nice view from the window on the tall buildings nearby. I can recommend staying for couple of nights. my room was on the last floor (5th) and there is no elevator. Not that I mind it, but if you have some disability or heavy luggage keep it in mind or ask at the reception to get a room on a lower flor ;) this is the only reason I leave this comment so other people can be aware. Generally I really enjoyed the place !

The lady at reception was the loveliest and she gave some great cafe recommendations and helped with how to get around the city using public transport. That the kettle was downstairs and no hairdryer.

The bed was really comfortable (on the harder side but we slept really well), the room was clean, no bugs, hot shower, you can get your room cleaned if asked for, 10 min walk to metro, 2 min walk to 7/11, laundromats next to the building, there’s shared fridge in the lobby and free coffee as well! As for a hostel it was really quiet and lovely. The stay overall was amazing, recommend it if you need something on the “cheaper” side. Our room was by the smoking area, so everytime we had the AC on the smell went into our room which was not pleasant. You only get one key card which turns on the electricity as well so it was a struggle when other person had to leave the room. And as to the owners- they are more on the “I’m here to do my job” nice, than welcoming nice which for us personally was not a struggle since we barely saw them either way.

• Chaneze (4/5): Hôtel sans aucun intérêt - Je déconseille cette hôtel où vraiment ne dormir que une seule nuit. Chambre toute petite . Pas de frigo pas de café dans les chambre ni bouilloire pour faire chauffer de l’eau . Rien pour poser ses valises. Escalier a monté horrible pour le prix il n’est pas du tout en face avec la prestation. Accueil déplorable bref aucun atout.

• Kay (7/5): Given the price, it was a good stay at the hostel. What I like is the cleanliness of the room. - The location of the hostel is average. It is about 10 to 15mins walk to Metro. While there are several cafes, there is no economical street food available around here. There is no lifts here thus if you are carrying a heavy luggage or bag, it would be difficult to climb 2 to 3 flights of stairs. The room is cosy, nice and clean. The soundproofing needs to be improved. You can hear everyone returning or leaving their rooms every time they open and close their doors. You will hear the cars zooming pass the hostel or any persons chatting loudly. The staff can be more friendly.
