- Anita Elverum (8/5): Great location and fri - The location was perfect for us, since we wanted to stay close to Insa-dong and Ikseon-dong. That’s only a nice stroll through a quiet street. It’s also only a short bus or taxi ride to Myeongdong for shopping. It was nice to just take the elevator to our hotel room from street level since the lobby was located on a different floor. It gave you a sense of freedom. We can highly recommend this hotel for families and their breakfast buffet is worth trying. Nothing worth mentioning.

Ce n’était pas une casse, c’est une règle qui est respectée à l’année. Ne surtout pas séjourner la au printemps ou en été… la chambre était petite et pas très propre. le personnel de l’hôtel ne parlait pas anglais et a refusé de nous aider pour la situation de la Clim et aussi pour d’autres sujets que nous avons eu. Il n’y a pas de concierge ce qui est quand même surprenant pour un hôtel à ce prix et soit disant 4 étoiles. Selon moi très très loin d’un 4 étoile.

- susana (6/5): Not worth the price at all. - My husband liked the buffet other than that I don’t recommend this hotel. The property is old and not well kept. Room was super plain and old. They gave us a handicap room and we have no idea why because we paid a LOT for the room. It was an ok location. The surroundings right outside the hotel were very rundown.

- Dmytro (10/5): - After booking this hotel, we were honestly a bit worried because of some of the reviews we had read here, so we weren’t expecting the best experience. However, our stay turned out to be great. The location is fantastic, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was large and spacious, as was the bed. An iron and an ironing board were available in the room. The room temperature was also comfortable, though that might have been helped by visiting at the end of April. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this hotel more. We arrived quite skeptical, but it completely exceeded our expectations.

Tatty brown painted walls on all floors and carpet to all floors was old and stretched. Air conditioning for the whole building cuts out from midnight until 8am and reception told us to have it on 18 celcius so it would maintain an overnight temp of 23-24. Worst bed, like sleeping on a concrete slab. It was a 1 star quality hotel, not at all expected for a Shllla hotel. Other hotels we stayed at in Gangnam and Jeju were cheaper and were great.

Price too high for what you get, breakfast is not included, it’s missing facilities like a swimming pool. We had a triple room and it was very tiny for three people, even though comfortable enough for a couple of nights.

Das Einzige was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war dass das Personal beim Frühstückbuffet uns jedes Mal erinnert hat, dass das Frühstückbuffet bis 9:30 geöffnet ist. Das war ungewöhnlich.

- Emad (3/5): Overpriced and not meeting 4-star expectations, the hotel offered poor service, pressured checkout before noon, lacked b - Location The hotel is overpriced and does not meet the expectations of a 4-star property. The staff were neither helpful nor flexible, and their attitude felt unprofessional throughout the stay. On the day of checkout, I was asked to leave starting from 11:20 AM and was informed that the checkout deadline was 12:00 PM, which felt unnecessary and poorly handled. Additionally, basic amenities such as a toothbrush were not provided complimentary, which is unusual for a hotel advertised at this level. The laundry service is also self-service, requiring guests to go to a designated laundry area and manage it themselves, which may not be convenient for all travelers expecting full service. There also seems to be inconsistency regarding the hotel’s rating — while it is listed as a 4-star hotel on booking platforms, staff indicated it is actually a 3-star property. Overall, the experience did not justify the price, and I would not have chosen this hotel had I known the actual standards.

- Kurtis (6/5): Nice looking place but a few issues - Great location; solid wifi. Booked a suite. It had a nice view and it was a nice size. There was a tub and a separate walk-in shower - solid water pressure. Very clean. I appreciate the modern style. It aspires to be a higher end hotel and it could be, but it seems like there was some cutting corners. All the carpets in the corridors look new, but were either cheap or poorly installed because they're all rippling and lifting. The ceiling in our bathroom looks like there had been a hasty incomplete repair done. For a hotel brand connected to Samsung, you would expect places to charge a phone, but there's only one outlet near the bed and no USB ports. The biggest issue was the temperature in the room. We were advised that because it wasn't summer yet, no air conditioning was running, even though it was an unseasonably warm spring day. It reached 27C (80F) in our room. The front desk told us that it was cooling off outside and we should open the windows. We did, but as soon as we went out for the day, housekeeping came in and closed them, so... One extra thing to be aware of is that there is a temple right behind the hotel where they ring a gong multiple times at 4:30 am. It's quite loud.

I understand the desire and the need to save electricity but it gave a bad impression. So much so that I thought may be I was in a wrong building. Lobby being on the 8th floor didn't help because the setup left the first floor area very, very sparse. Room I was in was very small. One side of the bed was close to the wall. There was practically no space and I had to walk sideways like a crab to get onto the bed. I also found a ball of hair on one of the towels.

Breakfast buffet was excellent Air conditioning didn’t work properly and made our nights very uncomfortable. Staff were indifferent when I raised it. Room was very cramped. Only one desk chair, so we had to sit on the bed. No drawers to put clothes in so we lived for 4 days out of our suitcases. Unacceptable. No bedside table and no plugs by bedside on one side. Finally, staff at check in were unhelpful.
