• kookkuu (9/5): - ชุดอาหารของที่นี่คุณต้องห้ามพลาด อิ่มมากๆ อาหารดีมากๆ เราจองทั้งเช้าและเย็น ห้องก็กว้าง ที่สำคัญมี อ่างแช่น้ำแร่ในห้องได้เลย แนะนำสำหรับคนที่มีรถมามีที่จอดรถให้ด้วย จริงๆก็สามารถเดินไปสถานที่ต่างๆภายในเมืองเกโละได้ แต่อาจจะไกลนิดหน่อย ใช้เวลาเดินไปถึง ย่านกลางเมืองเกโละประมาณ 10 นาที รอบนี้จองห้องแบบที่นอนญี่ปุ่น สำหรับคนที่นอนที่นอนแบบเตียงนอนมาตลอดอาจจะไม่ค่อยคุ้นเคยเท่าไหร่ ฟูกที่นอนไม่หนามากทำให้รู้สึกว่านอนพื้นแข็งไปนิดนึง

• Howard (10/5): I love the Japanese cultural submersion just to experience an Asian.culture that is sodifferent from mine own culture - I like the Japanese culture submersion. I love the dinner and breakfast. I would have loved to have the outdoor onsen like we have paid for but only got an indoor one. Also the onsen tub was way too small.

• MEGUMI (6/5): - ちょっと期待外れでした。 お部屋のティッシュは残り1枚しかなくこんな経験は今までなかった… ベットだから布団を引く必要がないので夕食に行ってる間お部屋には従業員さんは入って来ないと思っていたので貴重品は置きっぱなしにしていたのに 水が入ったポットがテーブルにあり明らかに入って来られたのがわかりその説明も初めになかったので逆に怖かった。 従業員さんはほとんど外国の方ですごく親切で 日本語がお上手で好印象でした。

• Antoinette (8/5): Nice stay with outstanding meals - The meals were excellent and we enjoyed our private little dining room. Our room was very pretty, large, and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and kind. We appreciated the free shuttle from the train station. The upstairs spa was nice and the water a good temperature. The open air spa in our room was very pretty and they provided nice amenities. Both heating units in our room were noisy enough to disturb our sleep - they made a high pitched sound on and off. The downstairs spa was dated and plain. The open air spa in our room was only suitable for one person and the shower area was also outdoors, which was daunting to use when the temperature was below freezing. This is a really nice place but it felt ordinary in some ways for the price we paid.

• 文子 (8/5): - 全体的に大きな不満はない。 値段の割には、センスや風情に欠ける。 展望風呂付きの部屋にしたが、湯がたまるのにものすごく時間がかかり、夕飯に間に合わないので入るのを諦めた。朝入ろうにも起きてから湯がたまるまでの時間を考えると、無理だと思った。結局使えなかった。 半個室風の食事処での食事だったが、仲居さんの私語が聞こえてきていた。よくないと思う。

• Anupom (10/5): Exceptional onsen hotel in Gero! - What an amazing hotel, staff greeted us outside the hotel and knew who we were even though we didn't tell them what time we were arriving. They checked us into our traditional Japanese apartment complete with an outdoor onsen, but not before my girlfriend got to choose her Yakuta to wear. The apartment was amazing, tatami mats, paper screen windows, floor tables and chairs. The onsen was fantastic, and the outdoor shower was a great experience. We also experienced their traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast in a private room which was amazing. Staff were all friendly and helpful at every turn. Can't recommend this place enough, an amazing experience in the hidden gem that is Gero.

• Samantha (10/5): Relaxing Stay, Amazing Kaiseiki Meals, Incredible Staff - Loved everything about it and wished I could have stayed longer. Enjoyed the convenient shuttle bus pickup to/from the train station, the rooms and onsen, the fast and smooth check in process, the incredible and delicious kaiseiki dinner and breakfast. Every single staff member was so kind, patient, polite, and attentive. Communication before and during our stay was fast and easy. It was also a quick walk to the main area in town for a little souvenir shopping.

• Vudhipong (10/5): Anyway the experience is excellent - Good room and accommodation, walking distances from shopping area. Dinner and breakfast are excellent and delicious. The name shows in front of the hotel is not the same name as in booking.com (Yukyunohana). The Japanese name is rather hard to recognized. We have to ask the people passing by before we realized that we actually were in front of the hotel.

It was definitely a eye opener for traditional Japanese food. We travelled with 3 young kids and they provided diaper bins, kids shower gel, toothpaste, kids yukata. I am surprised by how kids friendly the resort are. nothing
• Swee (8/5): Good service - Having the onsen in our room was great as it was raining during our stay. The shuttle service was also great. The blinds to shield the onsen were in a bad shape and could not provide complete privacy. This easily fixed item would have made the whole experience much better.

• Shailendra (9/5): Definitely a must stay in Gero - Everything from accommodation to private and public bath to dinner and breakfast was top notch. They also provide free pickup and drop facilities from the train station. The staff were very polite and friendly.

• Constance (8/5): A good hotel to try for at least a night. - This hotel is co-owned with Fugaku Hotel. It is just next-door, hence you check in at Fugaku. You then connect at Level 2 Bridge to your room at Gero Onsen Yukyunohana. The open air bath is nice but only good for 1 person. Water is from a tap and supposedly to be spring water. Staff are service oriented, friendly and helpful. The Nepalese male staff at the front desk, Mr Khatri was extremely polite, showed us to our dining room and then to our bedroom and explained all the facilities in the hotel. He speaks good English and is really a great help. The room is very spacious with comfortable western beds. Dinner and lunch were Kaiseki style. The female Nepalese staff was polite. Explained all the different dishes to us and speaks relatively good English. They provide free pick up and drop off shuttle bus service to Gero station (stipulated time). The connection of the 2 hotels can be a little confusing.

My name already show on welcome board. Packing, luggage, check-in, introduction, and guide us into the room. Dining also good taste, rich and good service. Breakfast also good. Perfect experience, very enjoyable stay.

Requested a nil red meat diet which was accommodated with nil issues thank you. Room was beautiful, choice of yukatas and again excellent customer service, got the obi tied properly. Room was full of extra things for you. Towels, a onsen Carey bag, slippers, a tea set etc. That I wasn't there for longer.

• Yosuke (8/5): - 檜の内風呂も温泉でした。 温泉の成分から浴槽を守るためか、檜の上に何かコーティングされており少し残念。壁に使用された檜からは充分な檜の香りがして外を見ながら楽しむことができました。 食事も美味しく文句なしですが、とにかく量が多く少食の我々夫婦には少し辛いものに… 量を減らして質を上げる別プランの提供をお願いしたい。 あと、食事する部屋の照明をもう少し明るくしてほしい。暗くて料理がよく見えないのも残念だった。

• Verified traveler (10/5): - コロナ禍でずっと旅行できず雨予報でしたが雨パラパラ程度で傘使用せず早朝からの観光で人混み避けることができ旅館に着くと直ぐにスタッフの方が車移動してくれ荷物もすぐに客室に運んでくれてありました。びっくりしたのはトイレが引き戸で広かったので出入りも楽でした。ベテランの仲居さん対応。食事は個室で食べきれないほどの料理で仲居さんおすすめの地元焼酎美味しくいただきお腹いっぱいでご飯食べれませんでした。朝食も品数多くおかわりしてご飯食べてしまいました。

• Chih Lin (8/5): Nice room, so so service. - We stayed in the new building, In which the rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. The original building is old. The public bathes are poorly maintained and old. Not all the staff is friendly. Ex. The drivers and the waitress at the private restaurant are not friendly at all and looked like they just wanted to get it over with. The room itself is worth of the money, not the rest of the service.

• Verified traveler (10/5): お肌すべすべの温泉。 - ゆったりゆっくりと過ごすことができました。夕食も食べきれないほどたくさん種類があってとても美味しかったですし朝食も昼ご飯を食べられなかったくらい付いていました。 内湯も源泉で熱かったですがお肌はすべすになって大満足です。 またうかがいたいです。

Most staff could speak competent English and a few of them are mandarin or Cantonese speaking. It is essential to confirm with the hotel on the pick up services in case you’re travelling with JR. Worth to stop over a night or two at Gero if you are on your way from/to Takayama.
• Elmowong (8/5): - We stayed in a twin bedroom for a night. The service of the hotel is good. The female bathrobe has much selection and beautiful. The food is excellent. The hot spring in the room is good but the size of the bathtub (hot spring) is not bigger enough. The public hot spring is not so nice.
