- Tracey (10/5): - Stay here!!!! Clean clean clean! Super quiet and serene! Staff was super friendly and welcoming as well. WELL worth it!!! I am super finicky, so trust me when I say stay here, you’ll love it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Off season okay stay - Off season stay for a couple nights. We probably would have considered alternate plans due to the distance to the airport. Hotels.com listed airport transportation but that was not an option. A taxi ride was around $65ca. We were okay with this as our flight was an early flight anyhow. The room was nice, however it was warm in June making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was very European, hard boiled egg, meat, cheese, vegs, yogurt and fruit. All served to you while sitting in the lodge. They recommended the only place close for dinner and mentioned the pizza. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the same. I imagine the lodge operates differently during peak season. For an establishment not near dinner options, it would benefit their guests to have either an option for dinner on-site or a kitchen to bring in food for the stay. Overall, the grounds are beautiful. The room was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

We arrived just before 9, so there was no where to eat unless we wanted to travel into whitehorse which was further up the highway. The bed was absolutely horrible, it was as hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on a floor. After a long drive a comfortable bed is a crucial piece of furniture that is strongly recommended. Me and my husband tossed and turned all night and was up by 5:00. Not impressed considering how much we paid.

- KATHERINE (10/5): - I don’t know where to start everything was just top notch. My husband and I have been traveling for years and Northern Lights is up there at the top. Toby and Lynn are phenomenal. So pleasant, so friendly, so accommodating!! Our chalet was SPOTLESS!!! Beds were very comfortable!! The have an onset chef that prepared us dinner, bison bolognese, and it was delicious. The meal was amazing. Gourmet!! Breakfast was very good. I can’t say enough good about this place. I first stopped by on our way to Alaska and Toby took the time to show me around. So we stayed on our way out. An amazing choice!!!!

- Florian (10/5): - Our stay did not disappoint at all. The resort and chalet were exactly as expected. Lynn and Tobias were wonderful hosts and were helpful throughout our stay. I definitely can recommend to book the slightly higher priced newer chalets with the large glass windows for Aurora viewing. Also worth mentioning is the $65/p.p. 3 course dinner at the resort which was delicious. The drink menu is very reasonably priced and Tobias masters the Aperol Spritz drink. If you are looking for comfort with amazing nature views in a small cosy resort setting, this should be your first choice in the Whitehorse area. We plan to be back in a few months.

We loved the perfect little cabin we stayed in and had an amazing breakfast before we left. We even saw a fox in the morning! We would love to spend more than 12 hours here next time we get to Whitehorse.

Do need a flat space to put bathroom toiletries on, that seems to be missing in every place we stayed in over 6 weeks of travel. This was the most relaxing and quiet place we stayed in our travels!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly, Unique, Homely Cabins - Overall very good. Very nice location away from the city. Very home-like set up with exceptionally comfortable beds, pillows and set up. The cabins are built by the owners themselves. Just be sure to ask about the meals that they cook for you, and access to the sauna. I was checking out and they then expressed they cook lunch and dinner, which would have saved much time. Overall cannot complain. Wolfgang even typed up a welcome letter for when I arrived as it was late in the evening. Very hospitable and unique place.

Friendly owners. They are great and greet you at the door. It’s like staying with family. The views are breathtaking and so quiet and serene.

- Mark (10/5): Hidden gem near Whitehorse, YT - The owners, Wolfgang and Renata Bublitz met us at check-in and knew us by first name. They built this place from the ground up 10 years ago. This place is their “baby”. The love it and the attention to detail they showed was a reflection of that. It is about 15 minutes south of Whitehorse about a mile off the Alaska Highway. It consists of a main lodge and about a dozen cute little private cabins. They have an exercise room and a 10 person hot tub as well. We had dinner and breakfast on the property. The waitress, Katie, and her husband (the chef) had their wedding there when they got married. The food was great, room was very very nice. No need to go to town for anything. We travel to and from Alaska yearly. We will plan our trip around staying here in the future. Very happy with our relaxing stay at the Northern Lights Resort and Spa. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

- Adam (8/5): This is a beautiful place to stay. - It is a beautiful place, great hosts, could be a great weekend getaway. Our problem was we were only there for one day and it was raining the whole time. I also was uncomfortable on the bed, a queen sized bed but very low to the ground and flimsy.

- Stephen (10/5): - What are wonderful property. We ended our honeymoon with a stop at this property run by the owners. Relaxed in the outdoor hot tub and enjoyed warming up in our cabin to the fireplace. This resort you can stay a day or mutiple with cuisinettes in each cabin. Very modern and extremely comfortable. They are adding new cabins to view northern lights and I would look forward to the new style cabins.
