- Els (7/5): Klantonvriendelijk. - Sauna: natte en droge, ijsfontein, mineraal-bubbelbad - allemaal erg goed. Buitenzwembad is verwarmd. Restaurant: lekker en verfijnd eten, de ene schotel volgt wel nogal snel achter veel andere, zonder pauze. Grootte van de kamer valt tegen. Ook de badkamer is klein. De wc staat achter de deur; als je partner binnenkomt terwijl je op toilet zit, dan knalt de deur tegen je knieën. Uitzicht van de kamer: parking + continu lawaai van de uitlaat van de keuken, vermoed ik. 4*-hotel onwaardig. Restaurant: we vroegen of we bij het raam mochten zitten. Om een of andere reden kon dat niet, terwijl 3 tafels de hele tijd leeg stonden?! Een 4° werd beschikbaar 5 minuten nadat wij neerzaten, men had ons toch nog kunnen laten verhuizen, maar neen, het kon niet. Ook een andere gast vroeg wat later of hij bij het raam mocht zitten, het kon niet, terwijl toen bijna alle tafels al leeg waren. Het was bijzonder rustig in het restaurant en toch mocht het niet?! Klantvriendelijk?! Met zo'n mentaliteit krijg je wellicht nooit een 5° ster. Bed: erg goed, aan de smalle kant voor een 4*-hotel. Ontbijt: verzorgd . Bij check-out werd niet eens gevraagd hoe alles geweest was!? Klant is niet belangrijk, concludeer ik daaruit. Prijs-kwaliteit: de sauna maakte veel goed, maar enkel voor de kamer was het zeker overprijsd.

Very good breakfast, lovely bar / lounge area and the staff are great, very friendly and welcoming, particularly the concierge - he's brilliant. Bad Wi-Fi and the rooms could do with modernising - furniture a bit traditional seasidey hotel, shower in the bath vibe and the furniture is a bit dated. But you won't be staying in the room very much because you'll be on the beach and surfing all day!

- Jenna (10/5): Beautiful Location, Great Kids Club - Beautiful location and views, staff were very friendly. The kids club was great and my 3 year old loved it. I had a massage which was fantastic. Loved the pool. Unfortunately dealt with quite a rude older lady who took issue with my 3 year old son being in the ladies changing room. At no point was I told there was family changing or that I had to use it if I was getting changed with my son. If this is the case it would probably be useful to tell people this as we had to get all our belongings and move to the family changing when we were soaking wet.

Room needs some TLC in the bathroom. Spa looked very tired with the decor. Pool was too cold. Overpriced food and drinks. Fish in my sandwich wasn’t very nice, too salty and chewy. Parking was a little annoying but luckily I got a proper space in the end, if it had been in peak season I wonder how you manage with people being able to park. When I booked with booking.com it said we would have a family room with balcony, we did not have a balcony.

Staff were super friendly and the food was very good for a hotel restaurant. Pool and thermal spa area was great. Room was small which I expected but looked over a back area of the hotel and some AC units that kept going most of the stay.

Great watching the waves break on the beach whilst in the bath! The staff were professional, friendly and efficient. We ate in the hotel every night and the food quality was excellent. Good spa facilities - make sure you think ahead and book the thermal spa as you need to book an hour time slot. There was nothing we didn’t like!

- Ed (9/5): Well pampered in a stunning location. - Amazing location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Superb views on sea front rooms. Great food at dinner. Spa was good, sauna steam room and jacuzzi. Indoor pool lovely. Interior looks recently renovated and rooms clean and comfortable. Although it’s an iconic art deco building, the outside despite regular paint jobs looks quite dated and it lacks the wow factor that balconies would provide. It’s also crying out for a rooftop bar but i guess there’s similar architectural constraints here. Having said all that I’d still recommend a stay here.

The room was cold but very comfortable with the addition of a portable heater. Quality of coffee and the eggs at breakfast were very disappointing but the rest of the breakfast was good. Paid for two spa treatments (2x 1hr massage) - both only lasted exactly 45 minutes - the time spent relaxing in the wellness area with a cup of herbal tea should really NOT be included in the treatment time - the massage was advertised as £100 for an hour!

Fun, outgoing staff who were very welcoming. The bedrooms need renovation and the bathrooms have rusted fittings. Noisy fans from the kitchen run all night.

- Claire (8/5): A great place for a quote get away - Very nice location next to beach. We had. Lovely relaxing time with a lot of facilities available. Friendly staff and great facilities. The food was also delicious.

This made the pool unpleasant to use during the main part of the day Surprise present to us by children disclosed to us in advance of stay by reception

- Abigail (9/5): A wonderful family hotel that more than delivered. - Outstanding views from sea facing rooms. Very friendly staff throughout. Incredible location. Very comfortable. The jacuzzi was very foamy / scummy. The chlorine was so strong that my eyes were watering. Sauna and steamroom was dominated by loud teens.
- Alan (7/5): A pleasant experience, would stay again but probably go out for food. - Great location and helpful staff. Very good leisure facilities! Food was average and expensive. Room was very warm for some reason, even with the windows open on a cool night, it was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep with the thick winter quilt in such a warm room. The radiator was not on!
