I also love the architecture of the hotel! I think that checkout should be an hour later!

- Zhihong (6/5): Fine - Location Too cold

- Andrea (8/5): - Great people, nice room and good location. Would stay again. No restaurant or food close by or onsite. Early check in not allowed in a mostly empty hotel.
- TravelerofNJ (10/5): A Basic, yet Wonderful Hotel in the Heart of Rutgers University New Brunswick Campus - Stayed in the month of March to help my son - a junior at Rutgers University in business, who had a medical emergency. We have been staying at this inn for the past 6-7 years and can really appreciate this diamond in the rough.
It's a very basic hotel, must have been a dormitory in the distant past. Three floors of rooms - either two double beds or one queen bed configuration. The management and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating in helping us nurse our son back to health after his surgery - broken leg that required surgery to implant a rod and pins.
Place is quiet, free parking very close to door, and central to the campuses of New Brunswick and near Piscataway campus. Plenty of restaurants for take-out nearby. Price is extremely affordable, no breakfast, but you can get a Keurig Coffee Pod and make a cup of custom coffee. Nothing within walking distance, but close drive (5-10 min) to a variety of bagel shops and other food stores, grocery, Target, etc. and straight shot back to the Inn without being stuck in heavy commuter traffic.
Would recommend this hotel if you have a student or reason to visit Rutgers University, or are in the New Brunswick area, and don't need all the amenities.

- Pamela (9/5): Excellent - Kudzi was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

- Michael (8/5): We we go back anytime we're in the area - Everything was good about this property. The rooms are clean. The staff was excellent. The location was easy to get to with plenty of parking. They have a coffee pot in the room, but no breakfast while I was there.

- John (10/5): Great - All Nothing.
- Sarah (5/5): For the price, it was fine, I would only stay here if all the other hotels in the area were booked - The price was very affordable for the area, the front desk was very kind and welcoming The beds were uncomfortable, the heater and fridge were crazy loud and annoying, the temp in the room was very difficult to controll, school hadnt started yet and there was literally no place to eat nearby which made getting breakfast in the morning really difficult, I wish I would have been informated that before I went so I could have brought groceries.

- Michael (7/5): Ok - the room and building were for the most part clean, except for the clump of hair on the floor in the bathroom. The temperature of the room was not able to be adjusted. The room was too hot to sleep comfortably in. I tried to put the fan on to blow cool air, but it would only blow hot air. Even when I adjusted the dial to cool.
also the wifi did not work for a majority of the evening. Had to use my hotspot on my phone. Not a good situation.
- ChasDC (10/5): Hidden Gem - I love to stay at the RU Inn and Conference center when visiting my son at Rutgers. The have a great alumni rate and they are conveniently located on the Cook/Douglass campus with great places for a scenic and convenient jog or walk.

- Maryann (7/5): Clean and great location and affordable but.... - Cleanliness /location That I had to buy a keurig pod if I wanted coffee. I completely understand as far as not having breakfast to keep the cost of the hotel affordable but they could have at least offered free coffee. Also had leftovers from a very expensive meal the night before . Placed in refrigerator. Next morning the food was warm and ruined. Light worked and it was plugged in. When I told staff.. she was pretty much like oh well.. I'll let someone know about the refrigerator. Lots of good it did for me as I was checking out!

- Sébastien (10/5): Agréable - Très bon service de la part de l’hôtesse. Souriante même très tard le soir.

- Amanda (10/5): - So nice and quaint friendly staff
- raineadell (10/5): Excellent value for your money - The inn is located in a beautiful park like setting that is very tranquil but accessible to all Rutgers campuses and other places. Also, it's an affordable option for staying when visiting your student at Rutgers and is walkable to the Cook/Douglas campus as well as into town.

- Bonny (10/5): Location, location, location - Perfect spot for a stay that has all the basic needs met. As an alumni I enjoyed being back in familiar area and the location is perfect for running and walking into New Brunswick.
- Karynn (10/5): - Staff both days were fantastic and exceptional on helpfulness. They went above and beyond to help us find public pickelball courts as university did not have any PB facilities open. Rooms spotless. All staff friendly and always asking if they could help with anything. No free breakfast but easy trade for cost savings, safe free parking on site and perfect location to quick access anywhere in New Brunswick. Thank you!! We will be back!

- Carrie (10/5): - The staff is wonderful and the rooms are b very clean
- kevin (4/5): - Property was clean, service was friendly, water pressure was. Pillows were hard, mattress was lumpy, and the floors had industrial carpet on top of concrete floors. It felt like being in a dormitory.
- Jay (10/5): Exceptional -
- alejandrovZ8639XF (10/5): Close to where I needed to be - I chose this location becuase of its closeness to the place I needed to be at the school. It made it very easy and convinient to have my son and myself attend the orientation scheduled the following day of our arrival. I would recomend this place to parents.
- Moira (6/5): - Very convenient at a low price.
- Magali (10/5): - Excellent in every way. Staff was amazing, the room super clean and comfortable. Very convenient. I will definitely come back again

- Jasna (10/5): - Great location and friendly staff!
- Addicted2bookings (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry and Mike (6/5): - For the price, we took it. Was convenient to all highways we needed to get to. Really, the room was a converted dorm room. It served it's purpose for our night's stay. Could've used another pillow on bed. Shower pressure was very weak in 214 and bathroom was very small with limited counter space. We would recommend and would stay again.
- Gregory (7/5): nice place - Nice enough Bit dusty - my sons allergies actie up
- Marina (8/5): - Nice and clean place.
- Anshika (8/5): - Little outdated and water pressure in shower is too low. Definitely can be renovated a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the housekeeping staff.
- Candice (10/5): It was fine. - The check out time being 10am. At least consider 11am.
- Hemanshu (7/5): Good - The room could have been little bigger, which gives enough space for a family of four.
- Hilda (8/5): Very good - The tub is not draining fast enough
- Deborah (10/5): - Excellent experience for the price. Nice touch on the extra care selecting the soap and lotion amenities!
- Steve (10/5): - Clean easy Check In nice hotel
- Ajaya (8/5): Met all my requirements - Proximity to Rutgers’ Lifelong Learning Center Not having complementary water bottles in the room.
- odedl2019 (10/5): Great Place - I stay at the Inn repeatedly for many years when visiting RU. Excellent location near Cook campus and short drive to Busch campus. I enjoy the warm welcome and ambiance that always makes me feel comfortable. My family when joining me are always keen to stay at the Inn. In addition, the view from my room is truly amazing (see picture) and at times deer and more animals are passing by or grazing. I'll be back!
- Tianze (10/5): - Free parking good price
- Tiffany (9/5): Very nice stay, hotel quality. Close to NYC for night before or after driving into the city/ -
- Jacob (8/5): - Was very enjoyable staying on Rutgers campus and was close proximity to Highland Park and all other nearby towns
Staff was friendly and the hotel was nice enough. Had a local college dorm feel which was perfect for my needs.
Some things were a little out of date but the price was good!
- Frank (7/5): Good -
- Nicole (7/5): Ok graduation stay - Close to graduation venue Walks are thin. Heard every conversation the next room had. Room needs updating especially carpets
- Michelle (8/5): - Simple: clean rooms, friendly staff, welcoming environment for a good price.
- Boros (9/5): Superb - Location excellent, Quiet surroundings, Room clean and comfortable although a little small, but for my purposes (a good night's sleep), it was very good. People talking in the corridors were obviously unaware that voices carry and that there may be others on the floor. Otherwise it is a great venue.
