• Rajiv (1/5): Free stay with cockroaches - Nothing now I’ve stayed for many years now it was pathetic saw cockroaches in rooms and bad air conditioning it’s deteriorated. Not worth anymore . They never refunded my one night extra they took. The booking customer care and Bloomrooms both are pathetic.

• Suchitra (9/5): Centrally located clean quiet comfortable room at great value for money. - It is right on the famous 100 ft road, so the location is great. the room was clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast included freshly made dosas and eggs. They have a free hot water/ tea/ coffee set up in the passage of each floor. Reception staff was polite and helpful. All was good.

• Sightseer48885328750 (2/5): Bloom Hotel/Bloomrooms - Misleading Advertising - This place is incredibly disappointing — essentially a glorified budget stay dressed up as something more. I booked it assuming it was a proper Bloom Hotel, but it turned out to be more like a backpackers’ hostel misrepresented as a hotel. Nowhere do they clearly state this, yet they charge premium hotel prices for a hostel-level experience. Issues I faced: 1. The AC was broken and didn’t even swing. An ancient piece of junk. 2. The bed was awkwardly pushed into a corner, making the room uncomfortable. 3. The light switch was oddly placed right above the bed. 4. The washroom was cramped, with an open trash can — very unhygienic. 5. I requested an upgrade to an actual hotel property and was willing to pay the difference — this was refused. 6. I asked for a refund for the second day (well within the 24-hour cancellation window) — also refused. Overall, misleading, overpriced, and poorly managed. Would not recommend.

They didn't provide me with a mosquito repellent when my room was known to have mosquitoes 3. For a long term guest, they gave me a room whose fuse was known to trip, leaving me sweating at night 4. My belt was sent with the clothes for laundry and for four days, and until escalation, nobody had an idea where it was

There is some pub/bar close by and they play very loud music till midnight which was very uncomfortable. The staff did try to help but there was nothing they could do about it.

• DheenaAbdulla (6/5): Not worth the money we paid - Stayed at this hotel recently for 3 nights. The room was quite small and very difficult to move around, but clean with a very comfortable bed. No wardrobe, just a little space to hang few items, that too attached to the main mirror. This was quite an inconvenience as we had to move the items to use the mirror every time. No safe is available too. However, the bathroom was spacious and comfortable with amenities provided. Hair dryer & iron and iron board was provided immediately upon request. The hotel had great wifi and online chat available which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, however lack of some key essentials like a lobby seating area created a high level of discomfort for us. Especially during check-in, we expect some fresh towels, seating and refreshing drinks upon arrival after a long trip. Instead, had to stand during the whole check-in process at the counter. Being located right next to a bar was another major inconvenience. I booked the place for a quick mandatory stop hence it did not affect as much as it could have during a holiday, however I would not book the property for a relaxing vacation unfortunately. The room really felt like a small box. Furthermore, repainting our floor occurred during our stay which also caused some kind of disturbance with the smell and workers being around. Something worth mentioning is that the breakfast provided was better than expected, after seeing the rest of the things. Hope the hotel consider these for future improvements.
