Nigel (9/5): - Exceptional place. If staying more than one day, the rooms with pool access would be worth the extra, but we had a room onto the courtyard. It was virtually new and very good. Staff were amazing. Parking is a tight fit, but fine. Don't be put off by close-by roads. Within 2 minutes walk is a great little town. This is a hidden gem. We would absolutely revisit.

Dorit (10/5): Ruhiges B&B mitten in der Stadt - Ein wunderschönes B&B mitten in der Stadt. Von außen unscheinbar, befindet sich hinter der Rezeption ein malerischer Innenhof mit Arkaden und üppigen Pflanzen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig und öffnete sich direkt zum Innenhof mit kleiner Bank. Für Zimmer weiter oben gibt es einen Fahrstuhl. Parken konnten wir zu unserer Überraschung in der engen Straße direkt vor der Tür. Das Frühstück war außerordentlich gut und vielseitig. Manduria hat uns gut gefallen, trotz des Rufes als Heimat des Primitivo nicht überlaufen und das Abendessen im Ristorante Mercanti war üppig, apulisch und preiswert.

The front entrance of the hotel is on a small and narrow street, so it is very difficult (if not impossible) to find parking, but then the inside opens up to a very nice inner courtyard/garden. I was in one of the 2 rooms upstairs in front of the small pool (which fits about 4-6 people), which was nice. The room and bathroom were of a very good size The bed was not very comfortable (too hard for my liking), whereas the pillows were quite soft and did not hold their form. The food offered for breakfast was not very fresh but was included in the booking.

Op de accommodatie is niets aan te merken maar overdags in Mandoria is niks te beleven..

La cura dei dettagli è impeccabile: tutto è estremamente pulito e ordinato, il giardino è curato in maniera perfetta e trasmette un senso di armonia e relax. Lo staff si distingue per professionalità e cortesia: la collaboratrice della Signora Loredana è di una gentilezza rara, sempre disponibile e attenta, mentre la Signora Loredana stessa accoglie gli ospiti con calore e cordialità, facendoli sentire subito a casa. La colazione rappresenta un vero punto di forza: abbondante, varia e arricchita da crostate e dolci fatti in casa, che aggiungono un tocco autentico e genuino all’esperienza del soggiorno. Un luogo che unisce eleganza, comfort e ospitalità sincera: assolutamente consigliato a chi desidera vivere Manduria nella sua essenza migliore.

Similarly an afternoon spent on the rooftop terrace, by the pool, with jazz music playing is just wonderful. The rooms are simple, but clean and secure. The staff are a real highlight - they go above & beyond to be helpful, friendly and accommodating. Take some insect repellent to breakfast!

We had a beautiful room right next to the small pool which was beautiful. It felt like our own private terrace and you are provided with beach towels and loungers. There are areas to lie out in the sun and in the shade. The room had everything required and was exceptionally clean. We seen the house keepers daily and they were very thorough with all aspects of the cleaning. We had water and toiletries replenished daily and plenty of towels. The hotel arranged our taxi airport transfers which were more than half the price from what we were quoted online! Breakfast was lovely and had more than enough options and coffee/tea was made to order. The hotel is situated a short walk into the beautiful centre of Manduria where there are a small amount of bars/restaurants/shops. Grazie mille sine tempore 💙 Nothing!

Probably could have had a little corner sofa and television not on the wall. Mind you we were far too busy in the nearby town centre to watch TV.
