Karin (8/5): Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall. - Ist sehr zentral gelegen, fußläufig vom Bahnhof leicht zu erreichen und sehr nahe von den wichtigen Plätzen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Alles war frisch zubereitet und sehr nett präsentiert. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und auch sehr sauber. Kaffee konnte man sich jederzeit zubereiten und auch ein Wasserkocher war am Zimmer. Der einzige Nachteil den diese Unterkunft hat, ist der laute Verkehrslärm in der Nacht. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man den Verkehr, aber auch die Abfallentsorgung in die Container vor den Fenstern ist sehr laut.

Susana (9/5): Trieste inolvidable y un alojamiento casi perfecto - Como estaba todo preparado en la habitación cuando llegué: los mapas, la revista, los tés... En el baño, todas las toallas, el aroma... TODO IMPECABLE. Las escaleras de la entrada, para los que tenemos dificultades en las piernas, son terribles!!! Deberían solucionar eso. Voy a recomendar el Carducci...pero yo ya sé que no puedo volver, por el tema de las escaleras.

John (9/5): - Our room was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The breakfast was excellent, and Francesco and the staff were quite personable and helpful. The location is superb; it's a ten minute walk to the train and to landmark sights in the old city. Because we did not have a room facing the street, the lighting was a bit dim. Although the electronic check-in worked well, it was hard to spot the entrance from the street.

The staff were there all the time to support with any problem, they were really kind to my parents, who did not speak Italian or English. The breakfast was exceptional, and the apartment is really central. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Polona (10/5): Zelo zadovoljni, priporočamo. - Lokacija je zelo centralna. Od tu je vse v mestu dostopno peš. Gostitelj je zelo prijazen. Po rezervaciji prejmeš kodo za vstop v staromeščansko stavbo, nato z isto kodo dostopaš še do svoje sobe, apartmaja. Rezervirali smo pozno popoldan in lahko že skoraj takoj vstopili v nastanitev. Odličen je tudi zajtrk, intimno, ponudba dovolj raznolika, da je za vsakogar nekaj. Priporočamo za kratko ali tudi daljše bivanje. Nič, vse je bilo ok.

Sharon (9/5): Rooms Boutique Carducci - Lovely husband and wife team made check in very easy. I appreciated the help with my luggage up the one flight of stairs to the lift. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a small kitchen area. The walk from the train station was easy, about 15 minutes and flat. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower had full doors, so bathroom floor didn't get soaked. And I loved the heated towel rack The room was facing a busy street, so I heard some guy singing below my window at 1030 and loud motorcycles until i finally fell asleep at midnight. In the morning, I was awake by 6am when traffic started.
MAURA (9/5): - Non abbiamo optato per la colazione ma abbiamo visto la sala ed era notevole. Posizione molto comoda a circa 700 m dal centro. Comoda anche per autobus verso destinazioni fuori Trieste (grotte e castello di miramare) Camere molto pulite e dotate di ogni confort Proprietari gentile e precisi Ingresso dello stabile un po' in decadimento... un peccato perchè all'interno molto curato.

Guest (5/5): This is a city hotel and there is no Lanterna Beach in sight. - Location is central and easy access to restaurant and old town etc. very convenient, making coffee is restrictive, can only have a fresh coffee when the staff was there to use the coffee machine, guest was not allow to operate the coffee machine which was pretty basic coffee machine anyway. Otherwise, only coffee powder was available. Not sure why booking.com ask me if I visited Lanterna Beach, because it has nothing to do with this hotel and nowhere near.

Stan The Traveling Man (9/5): Excellent Location in a stately business that has a supermarket, right downstairs !!! - It is impossible to find a truly exceptional hotel in all my travel. This hotel deserves to be more than a 9 ( wonderful ) for many reasons. If I go back to Trieste again, this would be my top choice. 1) The owners. Family business that tries their best to make our stay comfortable and secure. I told the owners that I will arrive around 10:00 am. The bus station is very close to this hotel , about 10 to 15 minutes walk . The check out time is 10:30 am but my room was ready about 11:00 am so I was thankful that the owner let me check in early. The hotel was secure as I saw the owner most of the time. The owner ( Lejos ) even treated me to a nice cup of coffee with cream while I waited for my room to ready 2) The location : One of the best. It is on the 2nd floor in a stately building. The ceiling is probably 15 feet high so you don’t feel like you are cramped into a cage ( like some hotels in Japan ) . There is the a supermarket right below but the entrance is around the corner and it opens until 8:00 pm ( I think except Sunday ). There is a bus ´terminal´ 2 minutes away from where you can take a bus to the bus/train station . Across the street from that is the tram # 2 terminal from where you can ride the funicular/tram to Opicina and walk the Strada Napoleonica , a beautiful hilltop trail of 5 kilometer . 3) Facility : Excellent. Cleaned bathroom with a stool to put your things. A mini fridge. A microwave oven. It has utensils and a dish rack with several plates and bowls. It even has little bottle of vinegar and olive oil and I use them for my salad. I wish the washing basin next to the microwave has a light though. Also I was in room # 4. It is right next to the reception area. I thought it will be noisy with people checking in and checking out. It was very quiet. Below my room is a busy street but was quiet 4) Value : It is subjective. Nothing. I just thought it was laughable ( not to depreciate anyone ). I asked for 2 days worth of coffee as I will stay 2 more days. She gave me 1 day ( 2 packets ) , as if I would steal it. :). These coffee packet each one costs $0.18 cents each in Amazon in the U S. I only take what I am entitled to . I don’t ask for more so I can take them home. Some might, but I don’t. Soap and coffee packets are cheap stuff . Anyway, I thought it was funny . Sorry that I have to mention it. This is not what I like but I thought it is funny enough to mention it :)
Markus (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft, zentral gelegen - Die Unterkunft liegt fast ideal für Triest. Man kann zu Fuss in die Innenstadt, zum Hafen, zum Bahnhof. Sie ist aber gut erreichbar. Schöne saubere Zimmer, nette Gastgeber. In den Zimmern zur Stasse kann am Morgen der Verkehr doch etwas laut sein.
Matt (8/5): Clean and comfortable for a night or two. - Basic but clean and well organized. Great for an overnight stay near town and the train station. Room was small but for short stay not bad.

süreyya (9/5): comfortable room - Owners were so friendly and polite. Although I missed to read my messages, they have made our communication and check-in easier. Room was big enough, clean and well equipped. Location is central. public parking garage can be used. It is about 500-600m away The only negative thing; Streat was very laud and the window has no noise insulation :)

Daniel (9/5): Empfehlenswert - Das Zimmer war Schön und ruhig. Wir werden es weiter empfehlen. Es gib nicht viel was uns nicht gefallen hat aber wir geben nur einen Tipp zu den Besitzer: ist schön und freundlich wenn die Gäste eine flasche Wasser zu trinken haben, Ansonsten lief alles super

Darlene (10/5): - Great place! Very roomy and clean. I would stay there again. The only confusion is the lights in the stairwell. They don’t turn on with motion sensors and you have to use your phone as a flashlight. It wasn’t clear how to turn on the stairwell lights.
Schröder (7/5): - War für 2 Nächte auf Durchreise mit Motorrad. Unterkunft liegt absolut zentral zur Innenstadt, ca. 5 Minuten Gehweg. Zimmer recht klein, aber für kurzen Aufenthalt okay. Kleiner Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Mikrowelle vorhanden. Sehr sauber und ausreichend Haken u Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad vorhanden. Mein Zimmer lag im 1. OG, zur Rückseite der Hauptverkehrsstraße, war recht ruhig. Treppenhaus des alten MFH roch muffig, in der Wohnung davon jedoch nichts gerochen. Für 1-2 Übernachtungen empfehlenswert, wenn man kein Auto pp. Hat. War mit Motorrad dort, deshalb direkt vor der Tür Parkplatz bekommen mit Auto pp. in näherer Umgebung jedoch null Chance.
