• Susan (6/5): Adequate for short stays - Bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets and comfortable pillows. Hot water in the shower, which is not always a given in the DR, was nice. Breakfast and dinner, with limited choices, were included, which was convenient. Location right across from the waterfront park. Good value for the price. The hotel is very old, so bathroom fixtures are quite dated. There were MANY little flies in the bathroom. The room was small with only one bedside table, one small desk and very limited closet space. Manageable for the 3 nights we were there but not for longer stays.

• Marisia (7/5): Faltou simpatia por parte da senhora mais velha da recepção. - Adoramos a cama era super confortável e o quarto era grande com muito espaço. O rapaz da cozinha disponibilizou um bom pequeno almoço. A anfitriã da recepção foi pouco amigável, queríamos ficar mais uma noite e foi nos dito que já não haviam quartos disponíveis e também não houve recomendações por parte da mesma. O ruído de madrugada também era demasiado embora estávamos muito cansados ouvia-se bem. O preço foi um pouco alto para o tipo de hotel que era, antigo com falta de remodelações.

Me agradó mucho el trato, las instalaciones un poco antiguas pero el carisma del personal y la forma en la que tratan a todos los que van allí deja mucho de que hablar. Los recomiendo al 100% Mi esposo y yo le hacemos una mención especial a Israel, el siempre fue tan amable aún cuando veía que las personas no mostraban una sonrrisa les hacía reir y sin nosotros decirle ya sabía nuestros gustos al segundo día. 🙏🏾✨️ El primer día nos recibió mima y otra dulce señora que estaba en la parte de servicio al cliente. Ellas nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La comida es genial, nuestros desayunos y cenas fueron geniales!🫶🏻 La ubicación del hotel me encanta ya que puedes pasar al malecón y playa caminando cuando cruzas la calle😍. Me encantó su servicio y amabilidad!

• Antonio (10/5): - Hemos visitado por segunda vez el Hotel Caribe gracias a su excelente ubicación, la buena atención y la limpieza impecable. Los espacios se mantienen en orden y ofrecen un ambiente tranquilo. Su localización permite acceder fácilmente al malecón y disfrutar de un recorrido por sus alrededores. La habitación está bien acondicionada para el descanso, y el servicio de desayuno y cena incluido representa un gran plus, ideal tanto para una estadía corta como para una más prolongada. Además, cuenta con parqueo y seguridad, lo que brinda mayor comodidad y confianza.

The location is good but is close to the bars and you get the sound of loud music at night. That Did not bother me too much because my room was located to the back, but I still get the sound of loud bass. They have hot water and a safe parking. The hotel is old.

• Victor (5/5): Town nice, horrible night spent - Close to town and relatively cheap with breakfast included and safe parking The hotel is located in Barahonas Malecon and I don’t know if it was because of the new year celebrations but there was a party playing different kinds of music up to two am or later and since we were given the front apartment we suffered the most, we asked and the music and stuff happens every night there, the whole year, we saw the hotel being sold and we can understand why, the owners don’t want to invest in soundproofing the rooms and update their equipment and rooms, Barahona as a tourist town needs more investment and development

• Emma (7/5): Regular - Staff in the restaurante were nice. 1. Didn’t have hot water 2. The music outside was too loud. They have a sign that says they lend earplugs for noise, but when you ask for it at the reception they tell you that they don't have them and that the music is not loud.
