Fernando was super helpful and friendly. He arranged 2 tours for us - 1 balloon ride + breakfast and 1 guided tour of the pyramids. Wifi worked fine and the water was hot.

- Stefan (10/5): The staff made my trip much easier. - It was so worth it for a view of the pyramids. It was a perfect view from my room. The staff were great. The let me leave a bag before checkin while I explored the park. They also let me know about a bus stop a few blocks away that would take me back to CDMX. It saved me a longer trip back to the main bus terminal. I wasn’t expecting it to be so easy to find food nearby too. I was surprised by the amount of fireworks nearby, but I there there was a local fair going on.

The hotel provides a nice selection of delicious breakfast choices. It’s a little off the beaten path but getting an uber was quick and easy. Also the hotel shows up a little down the street on Uber gps. The room could use a space heater as it was chilly in the morning and evening.
- Mark McLeod (9/5): The perfect base from which to explore Teotihuacan Pyramids. - We loved the location, as the terrace has a view of the pyramids. Management and staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, particularly Fernando, who arranged our early morning hot air balloon ride over the archaeological site, and provided us with directions to walk into the village (20 min), to restaurants, etc. There is an on-site restaurant, with seating indoors and in a lovely courtyard garden area. Within 5 min walking, there are numerous restaurants along the main road. 10 min walking takes you to the gates of the arch site. The hotel feels like a home and is very clean. We would absolutely recommend it. It is a little difficult to find this hotel, as the entrance is from a small side street. Ask a taxi driver. Well worth the search.

Amazing view from the terrace of all the hot air balloons over the pyramids in the morning. Good choice of breakfast, hotcakes made fresh on the morning we didn't go to the Pyramids. It was a bit noisy with traffic from the toad & the train horns, but nothing more than we experienced elsewhere. Shower was quite weak.

We slept well. The patio was pretty and a nice bonus. The location was within walking distance to gate 5 to visit the pyramids. We didn't try breakfast, as we were at the ticket office at 8 am. Given the location and staff and comfort it represented good value for money. Nothing. All was good

- Shulamit (10/5): Fernando delivers an exceptional and memorable stay. - Fernando is an exceptional and outstanding host from start to finish. He gave great advice on how to arrive from Mexico City and even went above and beyond to advise on how to continue to Puebla. He is very responsive over messages. He also graciously upgraded our room, and trust me, the rooms with the view are worth it! It’s amazing being able to wake up and see balloons fly by your window. Even if you don’t have a room with the archeological zone room, everyone can access a patio where you can see everything. Fernando speaks great English and there’s documents ready for any service or recommendation you’d want around the city. I’ve travelled to so many countries and cities and the service here is truly exceptional!! The rooms have all you need, the entrance is clearly marked, and the city is quite quiet and calm. Nothing!

A dangerously steep and narrow staircase to navigate with luggage. The furniture is old and unappealing. The amount of signs all over the place (no smoking, wash your hands after using the bathroom, ...) is annoying. I came for vacation, not for education.

Our room did not have AC, they accommodated us with a fan but honestly with the drop in temperature we were actually really comfortable and cool at night. They brought us some amazing coffees for us to enjoy in the evening while we relaxed in the terrace.

We upgraded to a room with A/C and heat which was great as it was chilly. Excellent view from the rooftop terrace of hot air balloons at sunrise! Wish there were room darkening curtains and a lip under the door to keep out bugs/light but stay was great.

The town is very small, but it has a lovely market where you can go in the evenings and get some streetfood. Also the staff is very friendly, especially Eduardo. - Ian (10/5): Breathtaking views of the Teotihuacan pyramids! - The location of this hotel is what sold us when we booked, and we were not disappointed! We stayed on a two day visit to Teotihuacan and thought it would be great to be able to see the pyramids from our hotel. Although they have rooms that overlook the pyramids, we didn’t stay in one of these (they weren’t available when we booked at the last minute!), but the best views are from the terrace on the top floor which is open to all guests. And these views are just amazing! We had seen photos of the hot air balloons that fly over the pyramids early in the morning and thought they would be nice to see. I happened to wake up at 6.30 and thought I’d take a look to see if there were any. Over the next hour and a half one became 10, became 20 and became 50 before I gave up counting, but they all majestically sailed by and over the site giving us some of the best memories of our trip! The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was exceptional value. And everything that you need is provided. It was a great place to stay. If you’re hung up on designer decor then maybe you’d find something to moan about, but if you are that way out then you probably think the pyramids are a bit dated and should be replaced with something more modern! There was nothing to dislike. Be aware that the area is very quiet at night. No bars or clubs or nightlife. That was a plus for us, travelling with kids, but some may find that an issue.
