Restaurant was so - Accessibility is perfect, no stairs and plenty of free parking. Perfect location, not far from town. Nothing it was perfect, the staff were accommodating and friendly.

The kitchen can be improved with an additional kettle or microwave but it seemed to work on busy times. The doors are quite loud when closing but definitely possible to be closed quietly if you guide the door. The staff needs to give a little more guidance on check-in

• Jen's account (1/5): Disappointing - Not much to like Cleanliness- the toilet flush buttons had black smudges. Obviously not wiped between guests. Parking - a nightmare to find any spaces. Guests parking wherever they want in places they shouldn't Privacy & noise - our last night, we find a group of people having drinks & getting loud in the common outdoor area outside our room. Totally oblivious there are at least a dozen rooms that backed onto that common area. Drinking, talking loudly, laughing from 1100pm directly outside our room. I guess the pub closed at 11pm & they wanted to continue their party outside guest rooms. By 1145pm I walked up to Reception to complain. The Duty Manager immediately went to group...unfortunately they didn't move on. Just lowered their voices. Only left around 1230am when it started to get windy & cold outside. The Bealey may need to restrict the use of the common outdoor table area to cease by 900pm. So guests with early departures can sleep without a group get together being held directly outside their window. Our room was permanently dark, as the ceiling to floor window facing the common area, only had thermal curtains. Opening curtains gave us no privacy at all. Not worth the nightly rate for basic facilities. Lack of parking. Cleanliness.

• Sharon (9/5): - A spacious room, two king beds, very clean comfortable beds and pillows. Asked for another bedside lamp and this wasn't a problem. The en suite had great water pressure in the shower, and an abundance of hot water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap provided. French door led out onto a garden area which was warmed by the sun in the morning. Kettle, tea, coffee, Hot chocolate and sugar sachets available in the room, with 4 cups, teaspoons, water glasses and wine glasses. Full length mirror, hair dryer and very efficient wall heater all in the room. The bar fridge in the room was small and the freezer compartment wasn't working properly we had ice packs that didn't stay frozen. There are two large fridges in the "lodge" kitchen, both were very full when we stayed however a tip given to me worked. Get your ice block to the very back of the fridge and they may stay frozen.

All the staff is very accommodating except one person in the reception. But overall, highly recommended. Your receptionist is not that friendly and very hard to approached especially the guy who checked us in. He should not let the client feel uneasy talking to him. For us his like racist. This is what my friend told me what they experienced, and I can testify it too is not good to be in the front of the house. But still, I like staying because overall all the staff is nice except him.

• Kim (10/5): Excellent but apartment looks out onto bars and restaurants which can be noisy until after midnight - The location is very central and for a short stay ideal if you do not want to hire a car The apartment was clean, well equipped with beautiful open aspect views Having a washing machine and tumble dryer a bonus We arrived late at night and were very tired, check in was not as smooth as it could have been owing to very late communication of lock box key code from Booking.com and we were unable to contact Owner as outside office hours We almost had to book our first night at The Sebel Hotel which the apartment is above, but eventually we managed to contact Booking.com Priority Assistance although it was midnight by the time we actually got into our accomodation
