Guest Reviews
- Karhatiron (10/5): -
- Rouse (1/5): - I cancelled
- Craig (1/5): Stay away from this place - Clerk was friendly Absolutely filthy and gross should be condemned
- Abigail (7/5): Friendly Staff - The staff provided quick and courteous check-in, helped me find a local place to eat that delivered and even provided silverware when the delivery driver forgot them!
- Mark (4/5): - Five years ago this hotel would have charged $45 per night. It was still the least expensive in the area. Accommodations were mediocre as the shower water temperature was unstable and there was no comforter on the bed. I guess in this day and age that’s what you get for $80 a night
- Deborah (6/5): - Easy access, staff was helpful to find a great place for dinner. Room was questionable, had some kind of scent in the room that was very strong. Appeared to be used to cover something up. Very little toilet paper available and shower was scary, did not use.

- Guest (1/5): stayed here in the past,it has gone downhill, and is only about $25 less than nicer hotels nearby - I visited that area often on the past to visit my mother, it was generally a safe and quiet area. It didn’t seem safe, the bathroom window had a partially unfrosted pane that was unlocked, with just vacant land it seemed in back of the motel. The bathroom was
not useable to me, I didn’t want to touch anything, so I returned the key to the drop off box and went to a different hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Drugs - Manager was nice. Room was old and dirty. Sheets and bedspread stained with burn marks. Roachs. Very obvious that other tenants were drug users and other another selling drugs. Sad, cute place. Could really be so much more..
- Aleks (5/5): -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We didnot stay there to dirty
- Juanita (4/5): - The beds were comfortable and the price was good. It’s very run down needs a complete overhaul and cleaning.
- Glen (10/5): Good bang for your buck - Great motel for the price - it's an older motel, basic amenities, off a major road. But clean and has what you need. Very friendly and accommodating.
- William (4/5): - We stayed because we were passing through. The room wasnt very clean. Stains on pillowcases and sheets. Floor in the kitchen area hadnt been mopped.
- Steven (4/5): - Would only use again as last resort. Lacked a lot of anemeties as most hotels - my list (and explanations) would be too long to post in an abbreviated format.
- Brandon (8/5): - This place was surprising in that the location was wonderful and frankly for the cost ot was a lot better than I had expected.
- KELLY (10/5): - Needs a bigger shower and space to put your hygiene stuff while in the shower and more pillows
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fisherman’s weekend. - The motel was better than expected. It was affordable, clean and very conveniently located to good food and beach side bars. They had parking available for boats and trailers. Overall it was a great little place to stay.
- Guest (9/5): -
- Ainhoa (5/5): Mejor de lo esperado. Mucho que mejorar - Ubicacion Mal olor y fuerte (producto de limpieza malo). Muebles muy viejos.
- shelley victorio (10/5): -
- Valentin (10/5): - I am going to visit this property very soon
- Hirsch (1/5): Stay away from this place dont be fooled by the price - Price Blood on sheets. No adequate air conditioning,no cable, they had ppl changing car parts from car to car in parking lot and one of the fellas was brandishing a pistol while he was speaking some jibberish. We just left the facility and didn't even ask for our money back
- Howard (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): June 2025 - It was just what I was looking for I have stayed there before and was pleased with it...a good value for your money
- Jason (1/5): Bad - Nothing Staff was rude. Hotel was dirty and musty. They have a no refunds policy, even though I just left right away after seeing the room. No integrity. Beware.
- Areli (4/5): - Staff was rude.
- Williams (6/5): Pleasant -
- Muniak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jared (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): AVOID avoid avoid avoid this place! Moldy pillows+ - The outer screen door would not latch. The bathroom door could not shut all the way, there was a wide visible crack when closed. The pillow cases had obvious black stains, whether mold or something else, they were not being changed. The sheets were the same. Glad we brought blankets from home, had to put our just-worn shirts over the pillows for the night and slept on the comforter instead of the sheets. Very dirty and uncomfortable. The people (family?) that ran it made me uneasy during check-in (physically handicapped small woman). Was so not worth the $84 after tax. RUN FROM THIS PLACE! And he needed a lot of info I thought strange, copied my whole drivers license, wanted my phone # and other stuff. Really bad vibes. Slept with the door physically blocked. And a weird device on ceiling, a little distance from the smoke detector. Couldn't figure out what it was, but suspicion of camera. We had a sock covering it all night. Dirty sock. Enjoy that view.
- marie (6/5): - The whole thing was terrible
- H (4/5): - Was very dirty. Some stuff on floor. Dirty toilet and mini fridge. Crusty food spillage in microwave. Dust on walls and furniture and somecockroachs running around.
The staff was very kind but I cannot recommend. It's a shame because this place has potential.
- Jennifer (2/5): Very poor -
- Petra (4/5): Not good - Very not good room very outdated bathroom was so bad mold all over stains on room rug small wasn’t operating no water pressure
- Mark (2/5): - Roaches and very out dated
- Gleason (1/5): Don’t ever come here, anywhere is better than this hell hole - Wouldn’t answer the office door wouldn’t answer the phone. I needed TGE WiFi password and I couldn’t get TGE guy to answer, and the cockroaches were so bad the were every. And I sat in my jeep all night, til the morning. I want my money back!!!! The 5000 cockroaches
- Mason (4/5): - He tries to sell my room for $cash while I was there
- Meagan (8/5): Very good - The motel is in a nice quiet area. The room did have a stove microwave and cabinets as well as mini fridge. The only complaint I would have is the place is severely out dated. And a better job could be dome cleaning. The amount of dust was a bit insane.
- zakarya (2/5): - When I got the room I couldn't stay in it for more than a few minutes, it was very dirty and disgusting
- Berry (7/5): Good -
- Rudolph (4/5): Serious updating needed - There were roaches in the room. TV was weird had to do some manipulation to get channels very out dated tech, and no access to ice or even the front office, room was okay shower hot cold water the handles made it hard to know which was cold or hot and then the water temp was difficult to adjust, most needed up grades that we have ever experienced in our 15 years of traveling, but for the price of everything else around was ok.
- Jeffrey (6/5): - Ok room for overnight sleep while traveling for the price
- Dawn (2/5): - The Motel was run down, old, not very clean. Too expensive for what the accomodation was.
- Daniel (1/5): Yerrible - Roaches everywhere, very dirty
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (6/5): - Pros: Check in was quick, it was quiet.
Cons: residue on toilet seat, storm door wouldn’t close, refrigerator didn’t work.
- Thaamaraiselvi (4/5): - Toilet and bathroom were not cleaned. Bedsheets were torn.
- Orlando (1/5): Bed bugs and the blanket was burn and dirty. - NOTING The smell was so bad and bugs everywhere.
- Mike (3/5): Poor -
- Amanda (2/5): - Roach motel. More bugs inside than out.
- Victoria (8/5): - Staff were very friendly , it was affordable.
- Gord (8/5): good value - Good value Room door was difficult to open, got stuck when closed
- DEBRA (6/5): - Room wasn't ready for Us when we got there At four p m.
- Higgins (2/5): Very poor -
- Marko (4/5): Disappointing - room felt moisty and air was not good, airconditioning was very loud
- Sean (8/5): - Nothing extravagant, but a nice family owned business.
- Loric (3/5): Poor -
- Cheryl (2/5): - Bathroom door had no doorknob! Room was gross. Cigarette burns on comforter. No coffee maker. Trash on floor. Completely overpriced. The worst stay of our lives. Wish we had slept in our car instead. Beware of this motel.
- richard (6/5): - No ice, no bedside light. Carpeting didn't feel clean.
The presence of a refrigerator/freezer offset the lack of an ice machine.
- Phillip (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- TERENCE (2/5): - This motel only had us staying there. Cockroches, wholes in the one bedspread they give you. Change me 69.00 to stay. Way off the beaten path middle of nothing.
- Diego (6/5): - Manager and employee excellent service.
- Ajit (10/5): - Property was not clean
- Brian (1/5): Bad - No food, no coffee, tv didn't work right, room was neglected Everything
- Alan (8/5): - The stay was good. They were very helpful and nice.
- Therese (1/5): Yuck - Convenient to Rt.5. Nothing else was liked. Everything. A working light in the bathroom would be nice so would a working tv.
- Luke (2/5): - I slept in my car the place was disgusting
- Alana (1/5): Bad - Nothing I didn’t stay I demanded my money back it was absolutely disgusting filthy dirty microwave looked like it wasn’t cleaned ever food caked in it toilets so dirty the carpet’s had stains all over them! They had vagrant people hanging around it looked like to be a crack hotel not that I’m judging but it was really bad they need to clean up the place ! They didn’t have running water in the room they assigned me they told me to wait so they can turn water on and then when I walked in the room I went ballistic with the condition’s of it ! The owner did give me my money back because I did take pictures when I was inside the room and showed him what I was looking at ! I told him he needed to clean and do a over haul of his property
- paul (10/5): not buffalo, but buffalo.... - just a great place to hangout like a king. quiet and clean.
nothing fancy,but treated fancy.
thanks all
- ARELIS (10/5): - Excelent service ...
- Adam (4/5): - Room was filthy and paint was chipped in the bathroom
- Hillary (8/5): Ok stay - Check in was fine. First room they had no key so they moved us to the room next door. The first room we went into stunk so I was happy with the other room that smelled better. Everything was old but not in bad shape besides the beat up lamp shades. The room was mostly clean besides the microwave. Had food splattered all over the top and sides. Gross. Bed was comfortable enough. We got an extra blanket and that was helpful. There is no coffee or coffee pot so that was a bummer.
- Danish (2/5): Everything was dirty - Place was disgusting. Better off sleeping in my car. Didn't use the towels because they were not clean.
- Joseph (2/5): - Very poor the place was dirty and if you stand out side the room with the curtains drawn you can see inside who wants to be seen when walking for the shower to the bed? Just very dirty.
- Schwarz (3/5): Poor -
- Johanna (5/5): Passable -
- Quinn (10/5): Quaint, quiet, inexpensive, and beautiful surrounding area. - The check-in process was quick & easy. The check-out was super simple. The privacy was appreciated. The room was comfy & clean. The area was nice, with the location being walking distance to a nearby beach. n/a
- Johanna (5/5): Passable -
- Johanna (5/5): Passable -
- Brian (1/5): Avoid this place - Bathroom was disgusting. Towels were miss matched. Multiple mixed colored sheets on the bed. Door was reinforced due to having been previously kicked in. Cable and internet didn’t work. AC wall unit was dirty, old and loud.
- Kim (8/5): - It was a nice quiet place to stay but the bathroom was dirty with used towels in the shower. .
- Johanna (3/5): Poor - Location Poor
- Derek (1/5): Awful. - Worst place ever to stay. They will charge you one price when you check in and then add more money on later in the week and say rates went up. There's only 3 channels you can watch on the TV. The shower is ass with no water pressure and water will get scolding hot on you if anyone flushes a toilet in any of the other rooms. It's beyond dirty. Do not recommend to even my worst enemy. Everything could have been better. Worst place I've stayed in a while.
- Philip (6/5): - Very seedy location.
- Abdul (7/5): Good - I love the place where the motel is located, calm and pleasant. The shower in the bathroom did not work properly
- Leila (6/5): - It was adequate for our needs after our campsite was flooded with torrential rains followed by high winds. Cheapest place we could find to rest protected from the elements but quite runned down and barely clean. Postage size dark unvented bathroom and car motel bedroom with extremely loud wall ac unit.
Bed was okay and personnel were friendly. Overpriced.
- Ryan (1/5): Rat poop, bad smoke smell in "non=smoking rooms," unaccomodating staff. - Sadly, nothing was enjoyable at this location We were given room #10, which was supposed to be non-smoking, clearly, someone had though. Additionally, rat poop and dead bugs were abundant in the bathroom.
- Carol (2/5): - Place was built in 1950 and not much renovations/upkeep was done since then. Not sure the bed sheets were actually changed from last guests. Had to kick the door in to open it.
- Sandy (7/5): Good - Location was good 👍🏻 The location was good and it was a good value
- Tammy (1/5): Probably one of the worst places we have stayed in. - Checkin staff was friendly Room was very dirty. Needed a deep clean! Fridge was filthy, still food/drink spilled in there, freezer had some much ice buildup. We kept our drinks in the cooler we brought. The bedspread had cigarette burn holes on it & the bed was very uncomfortable. Remote didn’t even have a back on it- minor thing. Window screen had holes in it. Counter in the main room was ducted taped. Shower had black mold on the top. Shower curtain had holes in it. Toilet lid had dirt/ grass on it. We didn’t expect much for $90 but at least be clean. Thank goodness it was for 1 night!
- Badan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Donald (2/5): NO REFUND, NO EXCUSE ACCEPTED, JUST TOO BAD - We accidentally booked at Angola Hotel, which is in New York, thinking it was in Angola, Indiana. We attempted to get refunded for our mistake, but neither they nor Hotels.com would refund our money.
So, while it may be a wonderful place to stay, it cost us a day's rent, for nothing.
- Rebecca (8/5): - The room stunk a little and there wasn't much yo do. So i went to the beach and did some shopping.
- Steven (3/5): The photos are not from this century. Dirty, unsanitary and unsafe. Just say NO! - We really enjoyed leaving! Dirty, old and in disrepair, unsafe feeling! The office is not friendly and is open to one person at a time behind closed doors. The ceiling of the office entrance area has fallen in and has the look of being under repair but it’s not. Paint is peeling off many things except the large flat walls and ceiling. Paint is cracked and peeling in the bathroom, on every radiant heater. The bathroom was gross and were afraid to do anything besides brushing our teeth with bottled water and using the toilet. The bathroom windows had broken panes, the lighting was inadequate and the “kitchen” area was unusable but not actually remodeled or removed. There were obvious homeless people living in their cars who were allowed into rooms with other people at night and they loitered around the motel lot during the day. Overall I’d recommend you take your chances and either sleep in your car in a dark alley in town or drive all the way to your destination and hope that you don’t crash and die.
- Lisa (1/5): I did not stay immediately after entering room I returned to check in and asked for a refund. Then l - Very dirty and in disrepair. Everything
- Erica (6/5): - It was very hot when I was there, so it would have been nice if the a/c had been on before arrival since it took HOURS for the room to cool down... i didn't expect it to be cold, but comfortable would have been nice.
Also, my room was not vacuumed very well upon arrival. One last thing, harsh cancelation policy: I was expected to cancel by 6 pm the day before despite making the reservation at 10 pm. 24 hours would have been nice, but I would have settled for 12.
Besides that, everything else about my stay was pleasant.
- Libor (3/5): Poor - Smels bad, not clean.
