- Arthur (2/5): - I wish i could share pictures from this place. I hsve seen old deployed Army barracks that were more presentable and clean. Mold spot painted to cover up small areas seemingly with a spay paint can, holes in the walls, shower did not work. What a crap hotel. I am not sure who helped give this place a shining star rating but disgusting is the only way to describe it.
- Richard (6/5): - Excellent hotel!!! Jin at the front desk was amazing. The room was comfortable, quiet, and super clean. However, no coffee or water in the room. This is fairly standard in all hotels. They used to have coffee, creamer, water bottles, and tooth brushes. So, if you want these things, you have to bring your own or run to the store. I think they are trying to save money, but it seems like a petty thing to cut out of the rooms. Breakfast was really good with many choices.

- Joan (8/5): - The photos online looked really great but in actual, it was an okay place to sleep. I felt uncomfortable sleeping on the bed. Not a soft one to lie down. But I still slept okay even my back hurts a little bit. At first, they gave us a room that the aircon was not cold. The television has no wifi. So we have to moved to another room that felt fine. They are doing what they're supposed to do to customers like us. The water bottles are limited everyday. Only one water bottle is given free for each person. The free breakfast was really really awesome 👌 👏! Delicious complete meal. Their corn soup tasted so great that I kept coming back! I liked their veggie dish, a Filipino ampalaya! Their customer service is awesome when we have to store our big luggages at their hotel and later come back to get them. We just don't want to bring those at the wedding event! They're friendly staff and full of patience. 😃

The restaurant staff were also excellent. The breakfast food tasted great, but everything was super cold. The hotel truly needs to invest in buying food warmers. It is a shame to have a beautifully cooked breakfast served cold. The room was spacious and very very clean. The refrigerator and coffee pot worked great. I always stay here when visiting GenSan, but hope they correct the breakfast issue.

- John (4/5): The shower smells made me disappointed. - Location is 10/10. Breakfast is fine. Room looks old, air conditioning is dirty and not proper in place. The AC was placed next to bed which means next to your ears. Walls are visibly dirty. Underneath the bed was so dusty. Shower holder was broken. You need to hold it all the time while showering. Toilet smells were so bad and I think the smell came from underneath the shower drainage.
- Todd (8/5): - Overall my family had a good stay at Hotel San Marco. However, the room listing was inaccurate. I paid for a "two-bedroom family suite" which turned out to be a single room with two beds (this is how it appears in the video that plays in their lobby). I complained to the manager and she offered us another room (in addition to the one we reserved) free of charge. My son was very happy with the stay because he hates bugs and, aside from a few ants attracted by our fruits, we did not see any others in our room or the facility. We also liked the Spanish style ambiance and decor and the friendly staff.

- Rony (4/5): Compared to other hotels we stayed in Gensan for 1 month this hotel is the most expensive but below - Breakfast was unlike other hotels with choices of salads, soup, main course, fruits and eggs as well as coffee and hot chocolate. The room needs repairs and painting. The glued shower head fell on the floor. Some of the paint peeled off. The chair in the room was very wobbly so somebody could fall easily. They didn't clean the room unless you asked them. There was the kettle but they only provided sugar. No coffee or tea for the 3 nights we stayed there. Overall they are lacking maintenance and don't seem to care about the customer service. We paid for 4 people with breakfast but the hotel said their policy is that breakfast is only for 2 people. We had to show the receipt to prove we paid for 4 breakfasts. The room, service and breakfast. The hotel needs a good maintenance.

- Fabien (2/5): - Worst Hotel Ever. The announced breakfast is a joke, one single fried egg and that's it. You need to literally fight to get a 2nd or a 3rd one. When you ask for rice, staff says there is no more. The second after, a whole family a local Kababayans show up, woW! they get a really nice full plate full of rice ("no more" huh?!), full of meats and veggies and fruits :( Clearly some racism for white tourists in here, so shocking. Also every single day the hot water in the shower was not working, had to call twice for guys to fix it (first time they come they say it's fixed and when you're ready to jump it's still cold), so really annoying. The last day they could not even fix it the warm water, they gave me another room to go just shower to. HOTEL TO AVOID.
