- Karen (10/5): Wholesome fun with a whole lotta alpacas, and more. True desert hospitality. - Great room and nice to have the kitchenette. Loved the fire pit in back. The animals were so fun! Nothing- it was just so fun!
- Dmitrii (10/5): Great place for great experience! - Everything was very good, nice small house with everything you need, new air conditioners, kitchen, sitting places near the windows and very warm atmosphere. The area is also great, funny friendly alpacas and llamas everywhere:) Great place to stay with children! In the reception house you can have a rest, buy tasty ice-cream, have a coffee and also fill in your bottle with cold water. And the people! Smiling, happy, pleasant - one more reason to choose this place to stay:)
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arina (8/5): Great place to everyone - either you want to spend time with yourself, your partner or your family and kids - The place is cozy, authentic, great for Internet detox, just to be with yourself/family. The alpacas and lamas are amazing! And it’s the best place for star-gazing - you just come out of the cabin and here they are: the stars, the Milky Way, the meteors! The staff are very friendly and helpful! And if you don’t want to cook by yourself - the place is only 5 minutes from the cafes of Mitzpe Ramon! It was a bit out of a childhood experience to have the shower cabins outside but it is not that it is bad - just unusual
- Inbal (9/5): Superb - Amazing stay for a family with children.
The cabins are quite simple but comfortable. Staff is very friendly.
The location is great- quiet and secluded, but only a few minutes drive from the town center.
The kids loved the alpacas so much, they were crying when we left.
The private bonfire spot was another attraction and top it with the most beautiful night sky in the world, it was one our most treasured experiences as a family.
- Noa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mattan (10/5): Beautiful desert experience - Beautiful, So well maintained and very unique. The place is very friendly for families and the public kitchen is fully equiped to cook a meal. It gets very hot in pick summer (July-August) and there is no pool. But the air condition in the yurt is great and when the sun goes down it is pleasent.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sofiia (10/5): Exceptional - We really liked the bungalow. It is very cozy. We got incredible pleasure from communicating with the animals. Very friendly dogs. We were also allowed to ride a tractor and join the feeding of the animals. Tractor rides are available twice a day, so we highly recommend taking advantage of them. Keep in mind that the shower is outside, but the toilet is in the bungalow. There were cobwebs in the bungalow, but it didn't interfere with our vacation.
- Shpringer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amit (9/5): Superb -
- Inbar (9/5): Superb -
- Isaac (10/5): Nice surprise! - All was very nice and clean. Great experience for childrens. Good staff! The check-in takes a lot of time. ( it's possible because of the Passover and enough staff during that specific day.)
- Ori (9/5): Great southern weekend - The atmosphere, The friendly staff, location was amazing Public showers (it was fine though), Uncomfortable mattress (super dense foam)
- Joy (9/5): A magical place worth visiting. We all loved it. - Exceptional destination. Sunrise each morning on the hill on the farm, sunset on Ramon Crater, exceptional. Excellent restaurant in Mitzpe Ramon 8-minute drive. Don't miss this. Loads to do locally. Nothing not to like. It was September and they had visitors but not too many to make it over crowded. Everything suited our trip.
- Tina (9/5): a real adventure for the kids - We did the lama picknick, which was a very nice experience for the kids - although rather expensive, we were happy to have done it
The room was very comfortable, with excellent airco
The kitchen was well equipped - although the oven was dirty - however cover paper was foreseen
The stars at night are incredible The price is rather high for a room without breakfast, as well as the extra offers (horse back riding, lama picknick)
- Sara (9/5): Amazing and fantastic stay - The place in particular the tend were amazing, beautiful and comfortable
I suggest to do the horse riding at the place at sunset because was a fantastic experience! Coming from abroad we may have the Wi-Fi more available, and we would like to have an easy breakfast
- Jason (9/5): Super fun - Great room
Friendly staff No where to eat
- Gurevich (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (8/5): Great for children - Great concept. Quiet yet central location. Beautiful to spend time with the animals Great concept. Would have been good to have a little more interaction with staff, learn about the alpacas, given food to feed them like the visitors to farm etc….
- Darina (10/5): Amazing experience, thank you!! - Everything.
The house is really cute, the kitchen has everything you need, very very nice workers that are available always to help you with everything you need. The animals are super cuteeeee!💖 it was an extremely exceptional and amazing experience, will definitely come there more!😍😍thank you!🙏🏽 Everything is amazing there
- Daniil (8/5): Very good - The spirit of the farm with the advantages of modernity - that is how I can describe that fantastic place.
Also, there is a fantastic place to observe the stars. In the morning had some issues with the water supply, the water was rusty. So I wasn't able to take a shower. But the staff explained that it wasn't their fault, and the cause of the issue was related to the city itself
- Philipp (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cohen (10/5): Fun and unique!! - This was such a unique and amazing experience. It was amazing to stay on a farm with hundreds of animals, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! It was fun to open my window and see alpacas and llamas! We will be back.
- Jeffrey (6/5): Close to Mitzpe Ramon - The farm is in a good location right by Mitzpe Ramon. The rooms were comfortable, but smallest for a family of 4 -- tightly packed in. It was nice to feed llamas and alpacas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A/C worked well and the campfire was a nice touch. It was pricey for what you got, and then to add in extra fees for wood (for a campfire was a bit surprising).
It was nice enough to stay, but nothing really special -- except if you want a mini-farm experience.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mira (10/5): the most amazing place in the desert I could have dreamed of - The place absolutely exceeded my expectations! The farm is just a few minutes away from the town, quiet, peaceful, with a desert-like atmosphere and yet equipped with all the comforts!
I booked a 'family room', but it’s not just a room, it's a house! A living room with a large bed and a kitchenette, plus a bathroom. Everything was impeccable! Clean and spacious! The bathroom was stocked with toiletries, toilet paper, and towels. The kitchen had dishcloths, washing liquid, and all the necessary equipment. The bed was large and comfortable, with beautifully fragrant linens! I had my own private terrace, surrounded by plants on all sides, making it very secluded while simultaneously offering a view of the farm and the alpacas.
The farm itself is enchanting! Feeding the alpacas is such a delightful activity, not just for kids! There were also a few very friendly dogs that were eager to play and made my stay even more enjoyable.
In the house, I had internet access (YouTube worked perfectly), on the farm I sometimes lost the mobile phone signal.
On the outskirts of the farm, there is a serene spot for meditation ('dome' on the pictures).
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tejal (9/5): all in all a wonderful place to stay if it weren’t for the dogs - amazing location and very interesting with the horses and alpacas two very loud barking dogs who rushed towards our accommodation at night and scared the hell out of me
- Ralph (9/5): Superb - Very calm place in the desert with very cosy yourts. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Kim (8/5): A cozy place to stay with alpacas galore! - We arrived in the evening at dusk and were warmly welcomed and shown to our cabin, The Llama. It was clean and comfortable and seemed fairly new. The next morning, we left and were gone again until evening, then checked out the next morning. We loved the alpacas, llamas, dogs (except when they barked early in the morning, and the view. We wish we had had the time to enjoy the different activities offered at the farm. I think it would be a great base for a family vacation in the area, if they have units that accommodate more than 2 people. 😊 Thank you, Alpacas and friends, for a nice stay! Our biggest disappointment was that when we booked, we asked for a "ground floor" room and because of our age, we did not want to lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs. When we arrived, the cabins are sort of "terraced" and we were up on the third terrace, meaning we had to lug our suitcases up (rolling wheels could not work) an irregular stone pathway with two sets of 2-4 stone steps. There was no offer to help with luggage, and we did not know, as Americans, if it would be impolite to ask for help. Also, our TV did not work, but we did not ask for assistance because we arrived after the Farm closed both nights . As you check-in, just have them check your TV!
- Joel (10/5): We loved staying at the Alpaca Farm and hope to be back again someday! - Staying at the Alpaca farm was a wonderful experience. The staff are great, the yurts (tent cabins) are very spacious, clean and updated. There are Llamas and Alpacas, that visitors can pet and feed. And big friendly dogs herding the animals and guarding the farm, they are friendly too. It’s such a peaceful place! They have a large outdoor dome that had lights on all night and it was hard to see the stars.
- De (9/5): fantastic place, a paradise for children - the place in the desert, many animals, wonderful and clean bungalows, kind staff, the sky full of stars in the night,
- Boaz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dorothy (10/5): Our 4th visit. We'll be back! - This was our 4th time visiting this unique place with our family from UK. We keep coming back! So worth staying over night. We stayed for 2 nights. We loved the location, the peace, the atmosphere, the self-catering & the space. Friendly staff, and we noticed far more alpacas this time. A successful story! We liked everything!
- Kinneret (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - This was a perfect family vacation with our toddler. At day, there was more animals around than she could feed, and all of them gentle and friendly. At night, campfire and stars. Strongly recommend! A well equipped kitchen and excellently maintained cabin made things easy for mom & dad, and the nearby crater edge was absolutely stunning at sunset and easy to reach by bike.
- Neta (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Highlight of our Negev trip - Unique, one of a kind place to stay. Beautiful location. Highlight was being befriended by one of the farm's dogs who slept outside our cabin, curled up around our campfire and even accompanied us on our mini-trek with one of the alpacas. Nothing really. Wi fi and mobile phone reception isn't great but what should one expect it literally is the middle of nowhere.
- Natalia (9/5): Superb - Clean and cozy house. Comfy beds No food and wi-fi.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional - The space, the place, the atmosphere Too expensive for quite a basic stay
Firewood way too expensive
- Mor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ariela (8/5): Very good -
- Marija (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (10/5): wonderful! - Authenticity
- Jeremy (10/5): Great location for families to connect with nature and each other - Staying in a remote part of the region on an active farm was such a rewarding experience
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miller (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (7/5): Good - We liked a lot, especially the closeness to nature, the views and of course the animals. Very friendly staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere in gorgeous surroundings. Incredible location and great experience also for the kids! The farm is very spacious with tons of friendly animals that are ready to be fed and to pet. The entire place is calm, relaxing, and inviting to spend some time. Mitzpe Ramon is only a short drive away, which also offers a lot for families. Check in and out was straightforward, and communication with staff very easy. We didn't like that there is no food available at the farm. Of course we knew this in advance, but it added more work for us and was definetely less convenient having to bring all the food for the stay with us. We would have preferred to have the option of having breakfast and a simple meal at the farm. We were told this might be possible in the future, and I think it would add a lot to the stay! Although we really liked the stay and highly recommend the farm for a visit, it is very expensive considering the basic services.... The room was very small for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 kids), and the price didn't really include any activities other than hanging out at the farm. It would be nice to have a communal room to hang out in the evenings like in a kibbutz. The place is gorgeous, the staff wonderful, but there is room for growth considering the very high price per night.
- Erin (10/5): We all had so much fun at your farm! - There’s no other place on earth like this place! You must go and see for yourself. The animals: adorable! The scenery: amazing! The experience: one of a kind !
- Natan (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good - Very nice people and cute animals Accommodation rather simple, prices simply too high
- Galyna (9/5): Superb - Indeed a wonderful meditating place.
- Roberta_lanfranco (8/5): Very good -
- Petra (10/5): Exceptional - amazing place
- Samuel (10/5): to quote the former governor of california, "I'll be back"! - the most lovely and serene getaway! so peaceful. lovely to have so many lovely animals roaming in and around the enclosures. room was lovely. deck was lovely. staff was lovely and helpful. just outside mitzpeh ramon which had everything we needed. from minyanim, to good supermarket.
- Alasdair (10/5): great place to finish our two week trip around Israel. very relaxing environment and fantastic for children who get invo - on site animals , friendly staff nothing
- Robin (9/5): Wonderful place - Beautiful oasis with farm animals and great staff. It is such a nice bonus to be able to make a bonfire under the stars! Too many bright lights at night, which makes it harder to stargaze.
- Tareq (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viktoria (9/5): Superb -
- Oleg (9/5): Superb -
- Kais (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandra (10/5): Felt in love - Beautiful and calmly alive oasis in just 7 minutes driving from Mitspe Ramon. Great place for animals lovers and hikers. Beautifully designed glamping tents with cosy and clean beds and wooden base (pleasant wooden smell included). Surrounded by thoughtfully ant tastefully placed greenery. Evenings can be magical in this place. Our group was of different ages (15-55), and we all fell in love with the place.
- Olivia (10/5): Magical, memorable and meaningful - The bungalow was cozy, cool and honestly perfect for what we needed. The lights were an amazing surprise and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and I loved that everyone had their own space in the fridge. I loved the freedom of the animals and how easy going the whole experience was. 10/10 I have already recommended this farm to my friends and family. It was perfect. Don't change a thing!
- Batsheva (10/5): very enjoyable - The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.
The view from the room was relaxing and beautiful,
and the room was clean.
- Oren (10/5): Exceptional - As close as possible to safari in Israel, waking up surrounded by animals, walking freely next to our window with beautiful sunrise and sunset view. Remote location but close enough to the crater and visitor center, the city and nearest restaurants and shopping district.
