Alexis (1/5): I wish I would’ve stayed at home or booked elsewhere. - The only thing that was positive was the overall location of the property. My stay at the Hyatt house in Frisco was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel in all my life and I don’t think I’m that old. The hotel was unable to fulfill the basic amenities that they claims to provide during the reservation. Upon checking in the initial room, it with was a very rough condition and there was damages all over the space. I’ve have images for reference. The second room I was given was still significantly subpar, with damages still persisting throughout the suite. Overall it is evident that this property is extremely under maintained. It appears that they only have 1 maintenance technician as well, I’d assume he’s overworked with the hotel being in such poor condition. In addition to that, the toilet did not flush and we had to wait for that to get fixed too. These delays and mishaps take away from the time we have allocated to go out on excursions and enjoy what Frisco has to offer. I wish I could express that is all we faced, though that is the case. We were also unable to take a shower because the water would not get hot, only cold could be produced. When we addressed this to the front desk associate, we were met with a rude and dismissive response. She acted as if we were being unreasonable for wanting to take a hot shower and she had no information on when a maintenance technician would be available to fix this, truly unacceptable. This means we couldn’t even go to the gym nor pool because we were not provided with the proper means to clean ourselves. Thank God we are local, so we went to my partner’s house to take an ideal shower. That also took away from us being able to fully enjoy ourselves because we had to commute all the way to Dallas in order to have hot water. When the maintenance man came he expressed that we need to turn on both of the faucets (kitchen and lavatory) in the suite in order to get the hot water.

The TV didn’t have Netflix, I have some unexplained transactions from this hotel - I tried to ask about this twice and looks to have been charged for some else’s stay. Hopefully the lift will work soon for others, this was hard to wait each time when coming and going.

The cleaning staff dont come everyday, only changed towels twice during 6 days only when we asked for it. the room floor and surfaces were not cleaned at all. plus the main elevator was out of service the whole time, customers have to use the backup elevator and share it with cleaning staff with big cleaning carts, and long wait.

Elizabeth (4/5): Ideal location but completely lacking with major cost - The hotel tried to be accommodating with our request of putting our group together, however, one of our group members ended up being put on a whole different floor. Chipping paint on the ceiling that was bubbling, didn’t have enough towels for the amount of people in the room even when requested, only had one elevator working and would take over 20 minutes to go one way due to staff continuously also using it also, asked for more blankets and towels due to number of people on our reservation.

kashundad2024 (10/5): Stellar Service!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - I chose Hyatt House Dallas/Frisco because I needed one-night accommodations near Celina, TX—and I’m so glad I did! I arrived about 90 minutes before check-in and was greeted by David, who was polite, welcoming, and genuinely conversational. When I asked about the possibility of checking in early (even though their check-out time had just ended), he was open and accommodating. I had an event at 4:00 pm and was prepared to freshen up in the lobby restroom, but to my surprise, David not only honored my early check-in request—he upgraded my room! The space was large, spotless, and stylish with sleek, modern touches. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and professional service these days, and this experience made my short stay outstanding. Highly recommend!

GoPlaces61538713159 (2/5): Broke the service contract, no response to email request - Complain: Service failure at Hyatt House Dallas/Frisco for our stay from July 18 to July 22, 2025. This hotel failed providing timely access to rooms & delivering on the most basic expectations of a guaranteed reservation. On July 18, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 4:35PM, our reserved rooms were not available despite our pre request for early checkin and payment made 100% in advance. Even at 4:35PM, still no keys for the rooms. We sent emails to Hyatt admin and requested full refund of our prepaid payment as Hyatt House Frisco broke the service contract, but after more than one months, we have not got any response. Timeline 7/18/2025 ● 10:30 AM – We arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff informed us that our rooms were not available. No acknowledgment of our early check-in request was made, and we were not offered luggage storage. ● 11:40 AM – Upon return from a brunch, rooms were still not available. We waited in the lobby. ● 11:50 AM – My girlfriend asked when the rooms might be ready. The male staff stated check-in was 3:00 PM and offered no further assistance. ● 12:43 PM – My girlfriend returned to the desk to explain our situation, having flown overnight and being extremely tired. Still, no helpful update was provided. ● 1:44 PM – Only one room (Room 405) was made available. We were not given a room key and had to be escorted by a staff member. This inconvenience meant we couldn’t leave the room unattended. ● 2:29 PM – We asked about the suite; a staff member promised it would be ready in 30–40 minutes. ● 3:37 PM – After more waiting, we were told the suite still wasn’t ready. A staff member offered a different room instead. We declined, insisting on the original suite we booked. We were told again it would be ready in about 30 minutes and they would call Room 405 once ready. ● 4:35 PM – We had not received any update or call. After waiting over 6 hours without the suite being ready and facing continual miscommunication and inconvenience, we made the decision to cancel both reservations and move to another hotel. ● 4:40 PM – We informed the hotel that they did not keep their end of the agreement. We asked the front desk to cancel our reservations. We would like to check out of Room 405 immediately. At this point, we were told the suite was now ready, but due to a malfunction with the key system, we would not be able to receive keys for either room and would require staff escorts every time we entered our rooms—an unacceptable situation. The front desk said that they would not refund anything since it was prepaid in full. We would have to take it up with Hyatt, not the hotel. * Email sent Hyatt guest-services on 7/24/2025 * As of 9/09/2025, no words from Hyatt House Dallas Frisco nor the Hyatt House at all
SoCoFoodie (10/5): Convenient - I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. Breakfast was good, the location was very convenient and close to shopping, and I loved being able to take my dog on a nice walk around the property. Also the inside of the room was nicer than I saw on my phone! Like a little apartment.

Lucius (8/5): - No luggage cart available on arrival and minimal help from staff to find one or accommodate with an alternative. It took several minutes for hot water to reach the shower each morning. This is a waste of water in a relative drought.
