• MARIA ANGELES (9/5): - Es un verdadero remanso de paz. Un lugar ideal para descansar y coger fuerzas. Tiene encanto y un jardín ideal para relajarse después de la visita a la ciudad. Por si fuera poco, su personal es amabilísimo y su ubicación perfecta, en el punto medio entre el castillo y la plaza de la catedral. Sus desayunos, que incluyen mermeladas caseras, también merecen ser citados. Estamos encantados de haber encontrado un lugar como este. Si volviésemos algún día, repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

• JACINTO (10/5): Alojamiento y ciudad para repetir. - Como siempre, la amabilidad y las atenciones portuguesas. En especial, las dos personas con las que tuvimos relación esta vez. El alojamiento está en un edificio impresionante tanto exterior como interiormente y muy cerca del centro histórico. Aunque parezca raro en estas fechas, demasiado calor en la habitación. Está en pleno casco antiguo, muy cerca de la ciudadela, en un laberinto de "ruas" de dirección única, por lo que es muy recomendable Google o similar.

• IGNACIO (8/5): Sitio con mucha clase y señorio - Fuimos mi mujer y yo por una noche y nos gustó mucho, la ubicación muy bien situado la atención de las chicas inmejorable y el desayuno espectacular, en una sala super acogedora y muy bien decorada , todo estilo antiguo pero con mucha clase , la habitación antigua como el resto de la casa muy bonita, un poco pequeña, pero solo pasamos una noche, en general bien, lo recomiendo a viajeros para pasar unos días. Por poner alguna pega diría que la cama no me resultó tan confortable como hubiese deseado.

Odeur nauséabonde dans nos deux salles de bains extrêmement désagréable. Radiateurs rouillés avec fuite d'eau. Cheveux et poils derrière la porte de salle de bain. Chambres glacées à notre arrivée puis difficile à chauffée. Un mur qui s'effrite dans une des chambres. Le reste de l'hôtel non chauffé. Du lait et du fromage caillé au petit déjeuner, une serveuse un peu hébétée à qui nous n'avons pu arracher aucun sourire. Grosse déception !!

Expérience vraiment unique au cœur d’une petite ville médiévale très intéressante à découvrir.

• Howard (10/5): Great place for an overnight - This was our second stay here this holiday, this time on the homeward leg. We had been recommended a particular restaurant on our first stay but couldn't get in as they were fully booked. We were greeted by the same person as on the first stay and when we told her this she rang the restaurant and arranged an early evening booking for us. Whilst a little early by our normal standards both the food and ambiance were excellent. The room this time was even bigger than on the previous occasion. Breakfast was good both times. We would stay here again. Whilst it would have been good to have had on site parking it was not too far away and we were prepared for it. The car was safe both times as the site is covered by CCTV.

• Claudia (7/5): - O hotel é muito bem localizado. Silencio absoluto e próximo das atrações. A construção é maravilhosa. As funcionárias são extremamente simpáticas. A cama é bem confortável. O café da manhã é bem servido. O quarto que ficamos dá acesso ao jardim interno que é lindo. O quarto e o banheiro são bem pequenos. Mas o principal problema é o chuveiro. Trata-se de chuveiro de mão localizado a uma altura de aproximadamente um metro e quarenta do chão e sem possibilidade de prendê-lo quando ligado. Ou seja, para tomar banho é necessário segurar esse chuveirinho o tempo todo. Se fosse banheira faria sentido, mas é box.

• Carl (4/5): Neem geen kamer op de gelijkvloers! - Goede ligging, lekker ontbijt Neem GEEN kamer op de gelijkvloers, je doet geen oog dicht. De plankenvloer kraakt en elke stap weergalmt. Je hoort elk woord en de nachtwaker wou daarvoor niet tussenkomen bij de bovenburen, die na middernacht nog aan het discussiëren waren en om de haverklap het toilet opzochten. Je mag er niet aan denken dat een pasgetrouwd koppel daar boven jou zou slapen. Er is trouwens geen receptie, een echt hotel is dit niet. Gezien de kamer bovendien aan de straatkant ligt, ben je ook al van de eerste auto's wakker.

Over 300 years old with many comfortable seating around around the “Villa” and gardens. Spotless in and out. Nothing really. Usually homes this old have a little oddness to something’s but not here. Everything was as it should be…and I’ve been in the business.

Bath/shower tap in the shower was plumbed opposite to the wash hand basin, so confusing when trying to get hot or cold water and no wall fixing for the shower hose.

Toute la décoration et les aménagements ont été pensés pour respecter le cachet de l’immeuble. Magnifique terrasse, chambres très confortables, propriétaires vraiment serviables et sympathiques. Petit déjeuner copieux, frais et très bon. Arbres fruitiers sur la propriété, donc pommes fraîches et figues à volonté ou presque! L’hôtel est situé dans la vieille ville tout prêt de la citadelle et des fortifications. Absolument rien!

Vieles in dem sehr alten, eigentlich wunderschönen Gemäuer, ist doch nachteilig: jeder Schritt vom oberen Stockwerk hörbar, Fenster in unserem Zimmer ( Parterre) nicht zu öffnen, sehr spärlich Lampen ( Sparlampen!) und Steckdosen, kein mobiles Internet innerhalb der dicken Mauern ( WiFi war während unseres Aufenthalt auch ausgefallen, Preisnachlass wäre netter gewesen als Schulterzucken)

• ELOISA (9/5): Como en casa! - Es un hotelito con encanto en una casa antigua, con trato familiar. Tienes libertad para pasar por la cocina si quieres un poco de fruta o prepararte una infusión o un café tu mismo. También puedes tsalir al jardin y coger higos o manzanas del arbol y disfrutar de una copita de oporto sin coste alguno. El desayuno es bueno y las mermeladas, de varios tipos, parecían caseras.
