Maybe it was cleaned long before we arrived? Bugs around. Fans didn’t work , only one room worked,on a very hot day. It is such a great place but it shows itself as very sterile and cold.

Laura (10/5): Location and comfort - Amazing view. Apt 37 was a ground floor unit with open parking (no height limitations) very close to the door. The apartment seems newly renovated and had beautiful, comfortable furniture and excellent amenities. Anazing view of the harbor. Walking distance to everything downtown or at the waterfront. We felt very safe. A/c would be nice, but we were there in January and it was not too hot in the night.

The agent was helpful and friendly. We stayed in unit 28. Had intermittent pipe knocking. Have reported it. Hopefully it will be sorted out.

Sarvania (4/5): Uncomfortable and disappointing - It was close to the lagoon. Scenic views and fairly close to shops. Was not clean. The parking bays are very cumbersome if u have a big vehicle you will have to struggle and manoeuvre. The stairs going up are not the same rise and height posing a high risk to elderly. The bedding was not clean. Toilet roll was only provided on the day or arrival and towels. Not a clean place. The dishwasher was broken. Not worth it for 4k a night.

Winnet (10/5): A home away from home with wonderful views. The host was so accessible and prompt in responding to any needs. Will defin - The views and the comfortable spacious apartment. It had everything we needed. Really enjoyed it. Absolutely nothing!
Pearl (7/5): - We loved the beautiful Lagoon views and proximity to the Waterfront. The unit is beautiful and had everything we required to make our stay comfortable. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The cupboard in one of the bedrooms still contained construction material, was dusty and could not be used. There was construction work in the units close to ours. There was dust in our unit from the construction on the first day, which was attended to when we complained. There was constant drilling and noise from all the renovations of the other units which affected my work meetings and what should have been a quiet, relaxed vacation.

Singh (10/5): This apartment (No. 16), the view... is Breathtaking! - The layout of the apartment was beautiful and clean. The view was exceptionally breathtaking! We loved the comfort of the washing machine. We felt safe! The wifi went on and off. The shower door made a hard sound when you open and close the door. The toilet flush button was loose, like it want to fall off. There was no blowdryer for wet hair. No daily room cleaning services, only if you stay more than 7 days. No clean towels after the 1st day, only on arrival. No toilet paper refills. The parking bay area is very small, bays are too close to each other. You open the passenger door against the car parking next to you.

Regina (7/5): Tolle Lage, atemberaubende Aussicht - Die Räume des Appartements sind bis auf das Bad großzügig geschnitten. Die Aussicht auf die Lagune aus dem Wintergarten vor dem Wohnbereich ist wirklich atemberaubend schön!!! Die Wiese vor dem Wintergarten grenzt direkt ans Wasser. Man kann tolle Sonnenuntergänge beobachten! Der Zugang ist ebenerdig. Das Appartement liegt nur 3 Minuten fußläufig von der Waterfront, das ist perfekt! Hinweis für Rollstuhlfahrer: schmaler Rollstuhl ist ok, nur das Bad ist für die Nutzung mit Rollstuhl zu klein. Wenn man nicht stehen oder gehen kann, fast nicht nutzbar. Die Einrichtung ist sehr abgewohnt und passt nicht zusammen. Es fehlt etwas Instandhaltung, an den Wänden blättert die Farbe ab. Kommode und Schrank riechen so modrig, dass man keine Kleidung dort reinlegen kann, da diese sonst den Geruch annimmt. In jedem Raum waren vereinzelt kleine Ameisen.

Yet it was a planned Shut down and the Host denied ever knowing about it. But I have provided proof below that Notices have been sent out weeks before hand. She lied and said to us it was not planned for the area, but we confirmed with permanent residents that it was planned and all residents were made aware of this outage more than a week before. So basically the greed of the Agent didn't allow her to inform us of the situation before letting us drive 440km to go to the accommodation. It was really terrible I had small kids with me that was bored out their minds the entire day. We had to buy meals the entire day which we didn't cater for. PLEASE BEWARE WHEN BOOKING WITH THIS HORRIBLE AGENT. BEWARE - GREEDY HOST - DISHONEST Nothing. Barry (9/5): Very pleasant & enjoyable - Finding our garage was not as clear as it could have been. The garage numbers did not co-incide with the apartment number. They in fact had two numbers on them. Slightly confusing at first
Maralize van Wyk (10/5): Beautiful - Love the view, location and set up. Close to the Ferry and Waterfront. The water was a bit cold, don't know if the geyser is shared with other units but would have enjoyed a warmer bath.

The fact that the TV has no dstv channels. I failed to watch rugby between SA & all blacks on Saturday morning

Carolyn (7/5): Peaceful and pretty. Much appreciated Thankyou! - The waterfront outlook was so soothing, beds were very comfortable, as was the living area. Car parking was convenient to the front door. There was no central heating or cooling and we had to request heaters as it was mid-winter and we were all unwell when we arrived-this was rectified fairly promptly. The front door locking system was awkward and unfamiliar, and there was a bit of noise from people on the floor above. Shower over bath was difficult to climb in and out of if you are short-legged, and a power point in the bathrooms would be super helpful.

Shieraaj Koopman (8/5): Excellent, I'll be back. - Location and Cleanliness This is the second time we stayed there and this time around the place only had wall panel heaters as it gets quite cold. I would have preferred a gas heater like the first unit i stayed in.
Susan (7/5): Good - Smart, clean and spacious apartment It was freezing. Could hear the main road from 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Lots of condensation on windows in the morning as the apartment was so cold and poorly ventilated.

Ashok (10/5): Excellent stay - Fantastic ground floor apartment overlooking the lagoon and very close to local restaurants. Excellent communication from our host, Liselle, with clear checking instructions. The apartment does not have A/C and we’re not used to the summer heat here. We, therefore, requested some fans for the bedrooms which were promptly delivered by the housekeeper the following morning and served the purpose. Loved watching the local wildlife from the garden especially the friendly duck which visited every morning! Probably leave the fans in the apartment for future guests and the bedrooms could benefit from blackout curtains but this really wasn’t a problem for us

Monique (8/5): We would be back again and we would recommend this place - It really is good value for money and you are in a very central spot. They also provide all the detail you need in order to get into the property and when exiting The parking situation isn't great. We were harassed quite a bit by beggers outside and "car guards". When we left on Sunday - there was no water to our apartment. No notice was given to us regarding the no water.
Sandra (10/5): Beautiful waterfront apartment. - Great central place to stay with amazing views. Everything we needed was there. Swimming and fishing in front of our apartment was so much fun and the water was amazing. We will definitely be back x
