Leon (9/5): - Great hotel with lovely staff and the food was outstanding , and the location is superb all the locals are really friendly and the beach was great and I spent many hours swimming and enjoying the coast will 100% return to this hotel . It a little pricey in comparison to other hotels in the Philippines and there isn't the best transport links but honestly this is me nit-picking a little bit , its a good hotel as I said before I highly recommend.

Charles (5/5): Extremely disappointed for the price paid. - Breakfast No bidet in CR. Couldn't get even warm water in the shower. 2 guests....one chair. Restaurant closed for an event, ate in the bar....again. No hair dryer. Premium price for dinner, twice, but dinner quality didn't reflect the prices. Baby Back ribs certainly was nothing but 2 meatless spare ribs. Beef Tenderloin was extremely tough. Presentation and service was excellent though. Beach was a big disappointment. Big trash pile and in general disrepair, nothing like the advertising photos. Zero place to sit and watch the ocean and overrun with scraggly dogs.
Denise (8/5): - The staff was outstanding! Very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was top notch, very clean and enjoyable with the bar and dining area right there. My room was clean and well maintained, however the sight advertised a rainfall shower head, a fixed shower seat and a tv, which it did not have. It was close to the beach and had small outdoor seating area. The food was very good. I enjoyed that it was in a small village where you can wander around and connect with the people and experience their local cuisine. The beach had many small fishing camps and fishing boats and locals out fishing which I enjoyed seeing. The only thing I was disappointed about was no one was out on the beach swimming or sunbathing. I was kind of expecting more of a beach experience. But the walks on the beach were enjoyable

The customer service was top-notch. The pool was incredible! I spent all my time upstairs in the yoga palapa area.

And it's hard to tell from the ad, but it's got a real nice Sandy beach also! Ps. I don't know what their mattresses are called, but they are thick and dense and render a great night's sleep!

Sal (4/5): - First impressions wow looks amazing. Staff was very friendly looks well maintained. Some odd things though, cctv cameras are literally everywhere, feels uncomfortable. Some strange rules, odd caretaker lurking around property. Claims to have wifi, but then you find out only wifi is by the bar. "free breakfast" was disappointing, dogs and roosters very loud at all hours of day and night. Tap water yellowish tint, pretty sure rat in walls of bungalow. Basic bungalow does not have A/C, has inadequate ceiling fan. I asked for a fan and begrudgingly they provided. Upon check out they claimed that we damaged the toilet seat, cracking it somehow wanted to charge me $25. They claimed that they thought I knew. I will go back to this part of Philippines but would not stay here again. Its like the Stepford resort, looks amazing on the exterior but not so nice inside.

However there little things that make our stay less pleasent. - The food is not good (you don't have any choices outside the hotel). - Bed blanket, not pleasent at all. We didn't use it in the end. - Drinks, serving shake without a strow. - Light in the room and the restaurant are strong white which make the places feel like an office. I guess for a family it could be nice but not for couples.

Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Resort!! - Awesome resort on the ocean with all the extras!! We only planned to stay for a one night but we opted for a second after we arrived. The rooms were beautiful and clean with all the amenities. Wi-Fi was great and they had plenty of fresh water and fruit. The owner was very kind and generous and help us get in touch with some locals to go boating, kite boarding, diving and snorkeling. Every meal we had was excellent and the staff was hands down the best in the Philippines I came across. The pool was amazing and the grounds were landscaped to perfection. It was truly paradise!! Great job Gunter and I will be back again someday!!
Tim (10/5): Nine hotel near boat access to apo island - Nice facilities with spacious room. Good food and staff is very helpfull and friendly. Very nice pool. Safe and secure property. I highly recomend this hotel if you want to be in a quiet area. Easy access via trycycle to boats to apo island.

Had a late check-in, the staff was very helpful in confirming my late arrival and reservation as well as guiding me on my way to the resort as I was only commuting. Overall I love the whole ambience of the resort, it was very relaxing and homey. Stayed by the separate beach house with 3 hammocks in front. There are only few rooms therefore the resort was not crowded and most guests follow the rules of staying silent adding to the relaxing ambience. The staff was helpful enough to accommodate my request to inform me if breakfast is ready since my room is far from the dining/bar area. Overall it is a place good for relaxation.
