Piscine et spa. Restauration sur place, le midi à la carte et le soir buffet. L'activité principale est de faire un safari pour admirer les éléphants. Départ en Jeep depuis l'hôtel. Étape particulièrement agréable
- Susan (9/5): Lovely peaceful setting - The grounds were beautiful. Room was nice with a small balcony we sat out on. Shower was great, nice size bathroom. Dinner and breakfast was superb. Lovely birdlife and tortoises Pool seemed a little murky and surrounds didn’t feel very inviting. Location too far to wander into town. They ran out of white wine (not a huge negative but still!)

Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi in all areas and relax in the biggest swimming pool in Udawalawe. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing and the restaurant staff were so lovely, made our stay very special. Hammocks were lovely as was the pool, made even more special by the monkeys playing around it too!

You were only advised of the fact once you made your choice. The menu should be revised to reflect what is available. Despite the situation and grounds a lot of the property was tired and somewhat neglected.

The food at the open restaurant was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy everyone in the family. The entire property was spotless and very well-kept. We’ll definitely be back!

- Malathi (1/5): Would not be going there again. - Manager was very indifferent and unfriendly. Lacks customer service skills. Food way below standard. Poor quality meals. Flies were a big issue when food was served at table. Waiter was polite. Chalet reasonable but poor lighting at night to get to restaurant. We could not wait to make our departure from this resort. We didn’t like the entire stay at this resort . We cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

STaff and hosts 10/10 - It was hard to find, and on a steep entrance - but once arrived - the hosts were absolutely amazing and lovely. The views were sensational, and the walk into town took 10mins along train track breakfast was hugh, and delicious. We wish we stayed for two nights, Ella is so gorgeous.n. We arrived late in the day and were really hungry, the host made us especially tea and toast to keep our stomachs full. the entrance, but only as i have a bad knee, and that we came from arugam bay, so had surf boards, a but of luggage.....but the staff were ready to help bring our luggage

- The (9/5): A gem in the wilderness - Thank you for the most beautiful stay at Nil Diya Mankada Safari Lodge! We truly wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night! From the time of arrival, we felt so welcomed. The facilities, including the pool, garden, and reception area, were well maintained and were warm and inviting. The restaurant offered beautiful food for both breakfast and dinner. And not to mention the wonderful safari we went of in the afternoon where we saw numerous elephants, peacocks, various birds, deer, monitor, and crocodiles. Would highly recommend booking here, don't even hesitate!

The rooms were clean, modern, and filled with natural materials. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the hotel grounds were stunning. We also enjoyed a great safari tour organized by the hotel at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful design, friendly staff, and convenient amenities.

Was pleasantly surprised by the lovely gardens and pool and hammocks and swings around the grounds & how nice the hotel was as it was so cheap! We had not expected it to be so nice. Welcome drinks and refreshing towels on arrival made it a nice touch. WiFi in rooms was hard to access. Sheets on bed too thin - I was cold in night so they should provide blankets or thicker duvets not just sheets. More charging points in the room would be useful

- Melangeli (9/5): Superb - We only stayed for one night and the hotel room was so cosy and the manager and staff were really great and helpful. The food waa really tasty too and the manager made us complimentary juices that were delicious! Everyone made our stay super comfortable and the manager organised a Safari tour for the next day. Our guide was great and we seen lots of elephants and wildlife! Only downfall was there was no English channels on the TV!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient hotel near Udawalawe - A reasonable hotel for visiting Udawalawe National Park as it's very near. Once there you will rely on the food available which is ok but not outstanding. The member of staff in the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Staff on reception were less so and tried to say we had to pay for breakfast which had been included in our rate. Ok for a one night stay. Wifi was good even in the chalets, so good marks for that. Not happy that price of wine was shown differently on different menus and we were charged the higher rate!

- Erica (8/5): Safari and sun - Everything was very good, especially the staff. The lady on reception was fantastic and helped with train tickets. The pool was clean and inviting in the sun. The buffet food was okay, sandwiches were the best choice from the menu options. Safari was great, no need for a guide as our driver pointed out lots of things. Would recommend.
