- Kathleen (10/5): - Very enjoyable and relaxing two night stay in this historic accommodation. Somewhat small room but nicely decorated with good bathroom. The outside areas are lovely and comfortable. Feels like rural setting but close to access roads and only 10 minute drive into city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t get to use outdoor pool but it looked very nice.

La chambre était tout à fait agréable pour une standard. Petite réserve sur les produits d'hygiène mis à disposition : il y a juste du savon liquide qui n'est pas doux du tout et pas de shampoing. Le petit dej est tout à fait honorable, il manquait juste du lait végétal en alternative au lait de vache. Et sinon la piscine chauffée aurait été un + car fin septembre on ne pouvait déjà plus en profiter alors qu'elle donnait très envie ! Mais au global très bonne expérience proche d'Aix et dans la nature !

- Tania (6/5): Charming but not for families - Hotel is very charming and with a very good restaurant, however we were traveling with little kids and hotel was uncomfortable for families, no elevator, family room 2nd bed was very uncomfortable and a bunker where you could not stand up straight without bumping your head and very dangerous stairs for kids.

The room was clean while the bathroom was newly renovated. Unfortunately, the restaurant inside the hotel was closed on the day we stayed, but it recommended us to its sister restaurant, which was a good experience also.

Le SEUL et unique petit bémol : les assises des chaises dans les deux salles de restaurant ne sont pas confortables, ça c’est vraiment dommage. Nous reviendrons aux beaux jours.

- CLARE (8/5): - Lovely chateau style hotel with a popular gourmet restaurant outside in the countryside about 15 minutes of Aix.I arrived at 8 pm so the restaurant was buzzing and nobody was manning the hotel reception which was the same as the restaurant reception -so highly confusing after a long journey. The guy who finally came did not seem aware of my reservation, but after a lot of questions he was kind to lift my suitcase up the flight of stairs. Room was very clean and well equipped-I liked having a proper kettle rather than a Coffee maker- however shabby chic decor chipped or unpainted furniture and door, was odd with the beautiful contemporary bathroom and bed and lamps. I had upgraded to a room with a lovely patio- unfortunately did not get a chance to sit on it! I would have liked more than one towel even though I was only one person!!! Traveling as a single person has been difficult in French hotels, but this restaurant made it a little easier. they sat me on the edge of restaurant near open kitchen which made it interesting for me and the servers were very attentive and solicitous. I had the best lamb dish I have had was at that restaurant! Breakfast was simple but sufficient and again the servers were very helpful in teaching me how to use the various equipment and getting ice for my water bottle and did not make me feel awkward as a single traveler. . I would return with my husband for a more relaxing stay in the lively grounds and to use the pool and patio!

The staff was always helpful and pleasant - and very nice to our dog.. A staff person put some ice in our dog's water bowl to keep the water cool. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. They have a bar area that serves tapas which was popular with the locals. The hotel is only 15 or 20 minutesfrom Aix. The lady that checked us in, she even went into the kitchen (restaurant was closed) to prepare us a cheese and ham platter with bread since we had told her we were starving from a long drive. For dinner, th lady at the restaurant, Oce, was great and gave us some great recommendations of places to visit in South of France. Great property!

- CCG (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful spot. Great outdoor pool - it was a joy to swim after a long, hot day of touring. Restaurant was excellent also. Room (triple) pretty spacious by European standards. Only issue is we couldn’t find towels for the pool (but we also didn’t ask because it wasn’t convenient). Oh and also there is a huge pothole at one of the entrances - on a dirt/gravel road leading to the property. It really needs to be fixed because we hit it hard and we’re worried we had damaged our rental car. Otherwise the hotel and service were great and we loved pro stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful setting and our room was decorated in a farmhouse chic style. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding super soft. We slept really well that night. The hotel itself was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The manager/owner even had food made for our baby when the restaurant was closed. We loved it and will stay here again someday.
- Maria (8/5): Great place but service let it down - Amazing location with great facilities. Dinner so so - chicken was over cooked, although my husband said his steak tartare was delicious. Service very slow at dinner and ever so slightly surly. No one around at breakfast when OJ and food was running out. Smiling staff would be a huge improvement.

- jodi (8/5): Nice quite hotel in rural location. - The hotel is set in a rural location and as such is quite. Its ideal if you have a car and want to be away from the city centre. Its an old hotel but we found it charming. There is a nice restaurant on site with a beautiful glass sun room. Rooms are generous size.

- Sparky94 (6/5): It’s a nice location... - I so wanted to like this place. It’s in a wonderful country setting and he building itself is very nice. But there was something about the ambience that didn’t quite work. Perhaps it was that there had been a wedding at the hotel, but our welcome was not quite what you would expect at a small hotel; and the much vaunted restaurant was only serving a buffet (?wedding leftovers). Thereafter, it was expensive breakfast buffets; it would be easy to double the cost if you room in the restaurant. Our room was small, and quite noisy from the corridor as others have pointed out. There is a large pool but it wasn’t very child friendly. Final gripe was that there is not enough parking for guests; the overspill car park is down an unmade track likely to damage your hire car. Suitable for people who want the full country hotel experience.
- Xiang Jin (10/5): Wonderful experience. Would return at any chance! - My wife and I had such a lovely stay at Domaine & Cie. Was greeted by a lovely lady during check in (who I assume was the owner). She brought us to the room and gave us a quick overview. We got a room with direct access to a quiet shared courtyard which was great for early morning tea and coffee! The room was modern, clean and had just the right touches to give it a great country feel without the “dated” look. We had dinner and breakfast at their glasshouse dining area which was really pretty. Clean, comfortable and would rate it higher than 5/5 if I had the option to.
- Anna (10/5): Nice hotel right outside of Aix - Nice hotel. I believe it is used a lot for weddings and events. only accessible by car but it was a great fit for us as we were traveling through Provence. Beautiful area and very short distance to Aix. Room was good, nothing luxurious but had everything you need and clean.
- Murat (10/5): Second time the charm..! - We tried to stay here first a week before, but due to some misunderstanding our reservation was cancelled. They were very sorry for the inconvenience and did everything they could to remedy the situation, starting with wine... Hotels.com was immediately in touch with us to help us find another location. Customer service was superb. A week later we decided to give them another try, and we were so happy that we did. First of all the location is all you would want from a Provence setting. Our room could have been bigger and the bathroom supplies should have been more upscale for this Hotel, but we are very easy travelers, so it didn’t bother us. The restaurant is one of the best in the area, had an amazing meal with great service.

We didn't realize it until we had already arrived in Marseille. The staff called and notified us and had arranged for someone to drive it to us at the airport. Merci beaucoup!!

- Deb (10/5): - Beautiful setting outside of town. Friendly and very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Large room and bathroom. Love the ambiance of the place. Old tile floors, old walls, old staircase. Views from our upstairs room outstanding. I must have taken a dozen photos from window. Free parking!!! Lovely pool area. Nice sized pool. Dinner food was delicious. I would love to stay here again!! The only problem we encountered is when we had to park in the back parking lot, the driveway is very eroded and needs to be regraded.

- Fannia (10/5): Beautiful Hotel!!! - We spent one night at this wonderful hotel. It is located 10 minutes from the city center. Tranquil and peaceful, lovely views. The staff was super kind and accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were excellent as well.
